“Same as other negative experiences waiting for the parcel 3rd day and every day say same story DPD attempted to deliver your parcel today without success to ....... we will attempt delivery again ... to manage your delivery...very bad service”
“The Delivery driver pretended not to be able to locate me (we get weekly deliveries with DPD, Eir code is also on the parcel). I called but hung up as soon as I answered and did not answer when called back immediately.
Website chat throws error messages if you want to talk to a human instead of the useless defelection bot, sent us an email does also not work (tried in several browsers) and at the depot noone picks up and no AM is set up.
This is absolutely unacceptable.”
“Although delivery was particularly accurate within the time-frame of which it stated it will be delivered, The delivery service itself proves to be nonchalant and incompetent when delivering to the STATED address. I was informed my delivery will be inbound for the 30th so i woke up early enough to ensure i wouldn't miss it, I waited for hours until I eventually called to clarify if there was a delay, come to find out the delivery driver wasn't bothered enough to make the delivery my my address and instead handed off the package to some "neighbour" down the bloody road i have personally never met without even informing me about the supposed change of plans, and probably would have NEVER informed me the recipient about the inaccurate delivery to some random "Neighbour". Despite this the two stars represent the decent customer service I received when handling the issue and the adequate delivery speed of the package.”
“My favourite delivery company to receive parcels from. They send you a delivery window of one hour on the morning of the delivery so you know when when you need to be at home. Very handy.”
“I don't recommend dpd from ireland, they are always delayed with your parcels and don't answer to your emails or phone calls.. ,are better courier companies”
“Item out for delivery since this morning. Waiting all day for delivery & it never arrived. I have had 2 deliveries from DPD this year the 1st one was dropped at their own pick up point & they claimed no one was home. If I had of known it was this company I would not have bought the item”
“I would give a minus 0 if i could. These company seems to be unable to pick up 2 parcels from where they are told to. I am srill waiting for over a month to get them picked up from my home and off course useless on the phone. Good luck with your delivery everyone!”
“My son ordered phone from Vodafone got message from dpd to say it delivered no sign of it when we got home phoned the office spoke to a lovely customer agent who rang the driver who said someone opened window and said leave it there when also for photo Proof said who g description of house then was sent a picture from circa 11 or 13 years ago from Google cam house is very different now next day car arrived in the yard young woman came with his phone which was delivered 20 km away to her house very disappointed really bad service and driver certainly did not do his job”
“Please avoid. They were not able to complete a shipment to amazon return center in UK. Had no clue where my parcel was and could only find and return to me after 2 weeks. Their non existing customer service is not mentioned here even. Unfortunately 0 is not possible as rating.”
“Was given a window of an hour earlier when my item would be delivered, yet again no sign of it so as I was passing the DPD depot which is less than a mile from my house I called in as I got no reply to my email and you can't get through .Was met with the most condescending person I ever met.No matter what I said to this lady she batted it away with ignorance and seems to think people should be grateful to DPD for disgraceful service and attitude, have been let down so many times by them you'd think they provided a free service yet they are 1 mile away and they can't manage to deliver to my house on the main road.”
“A delivery driver called Lukasz just walked into my house without knocking or calling out to identify himself, when I confronted him he laughed at me. He was shocked when I removed him from the property and looked very scared.
But would it have been a different story if my daughter was home alone? We need to remove this behaviour from strangers in our country!”
“Ordered a modem from virgin media last Friday 15/3/24,, D.O.P txt be here Tuesday, every days since be here tomorrow, after 5days of tomorrow, I've cancelled my subscription,if virgin want their property they can deal with this unreliable, unprofessional, sham company.im done pack of shisters 😡”
“Would give zero if possible.Customer service none.Roscomon depot hang up on us.Athlone head office put us on hold for half hour till we was disconnected .saying not delivering to this estate. But I seen DPD vans in the estate. Why are you then accepting parcels for deliveries to this estate.Tell all the companies you not delivering so they can send by someone else's.Taking parcels for deliveries, then holding in your depot in Roscommon and not even bothered to contact as about it.”
“I saved up, I saved really hard for my Superdry jacket and your Driver (without any authorisation) threw it in the bin (without the courtesy of a note), next morning my bin was collected, if only you knew.”
“A company that takes money from customers, but delivers goods to other addresses. The customer service responds rudely, go and pick up your parcel. They don't want to be responsible for anything. They recruit drivers who don't even know how to use navigation!”
“Horrific- delivered goods worth over €120 to another housing estate with the sane House number as mine.
When I complained they said sorry nit what we do.
I reminded them they did the sane including leaving goods outside after saying they had been singed for (had not!!).
I think laurel and Hardy are alive and well and working in DPD Ireland.”
“Absolutely useless crowd. Delivered item to wrong address, as in an address miles away. Said they would go sort it and still no sign of my order. Jokeshop.”
