Awful customer service. I can't comment about the actual phone service as I never received my SIM card. When I asked about a refund, I was asked for information that the company should have had already. I was also asked for information I never provided on my order. Unprofessional and dangerously unsecure. I never received a name for the customer service rep and responses only arrived when prompted. My order was in November and I still haven't resolved the issue. I attempted to email again in hopes of getting a different rep, but now my emails have been completely ignored. Based on the fact that they took my money, strung me along for four months and would ignore my questions and ask for more information they didn't need, I would say that this company is a scam.

I just spent 45 minutes on chat with Lycamobile customer service. The chat service is useful. Lycamobile is a waste of money. It's better to buy a cheap data plan in the country where you are working. Need to make calls? Purchasing a SIM card in the country where you are visiting is cheaper. I spent $100 (US) and 2 hours+ in time. Neither can be refunded. I was told that "refunds are subject to approval..." translation is up to the reader of this review. Don't purchase anything from lycamobile...you'll be sorry and you will lose money. Guaranteed.

These guys are true scammers. If you run out your planned data you will be charged 1 £ for each 8.3 Mb (!!!) you use. Without any warning. Avoid this

It is difficult to find the right words to describe how bad Lycamobile is as a mobile service provider The plans are not really plans. They are more like a vehicle to extract more money from you if you want the service to continue. You receive endless text messages asking you to take certain actions which seem unrelated to what you have bought And you are supposed to constantly reset the $ limit on downloads so you don’t exceed your allowance but whatever you set seems to make zero difference to your balance being quickly exhausted I would recommend to everyone to NEVER go near Lycamobile

The worst customer experience ever. Added 10 euro with UNLIMITED call and 1GB data, it's finished within less than 24h. We have been using wifi the whole time! Now the website to top up is not working - the screen shows blank 'chose your amount' page for hours. Better switch to more reliable provider like Vodafone or T-mobile.

Never seen worser customer service i topped up on the 20th if January it's now the 7th of February still no bundle on my acount but they deducted £25 from my acount I've rang multiple times each time I get told something diffrent on the 29th of January I was told the money will be back in my acount with in 5/7 days its now the 7th I rang and was told I need a 8 didget pin number they will contact me again in 24 / 48 hours I've been told this multiple times I've made them repeat my email address over again to make sure there getting it right I never receive emails or when I do its just an automatic response from a machine I'm a new customer just moved from 3 looks like im going back to 3 this isn't worth the hassle terrible customer service treated as if I was stupid and didn't know what I was speaking about asking am I sure I bought a bundle!! I'm sure the first thing you do when your bundle doesn't come on is check to make sure the amount was deducted from your bank ! Then another lady literally laughed down the phone pretending I can't hear you ma'am never been so stressed out by a phone company STAY AWAY !!!!!

Took £80 of my partners top up on day one. They removed her bundle, then told her they cannot refund her as they don't guarantee they deliver any services. That sounds to me like "Go f'off'. Terrible internet speed, and a customer service that will convince you that this company is a massive scam. Look into the huge deals they have with the UK Conservatives, that screams fruad. Oh wait, they got done for fruad donating to the conservatives. So my partner's £80 that was stolen for a service they say they don't actually need to deliver has gone to a Tory. Fantastic, just like my taxes.

I got SCAMMED, stay away, I paid for two sim cards and two unlimited bundles, I received a leaflet in the post with nothing else, I have called several times to get a refund and have never got it back. Take my advise STAY AWAY!!

Absolutely shocking customer service They are false advertising again this is something they have done before (just Google) The sim is for sale in stores and doesn’t mention the requirement to add 5 credit to first activate the sim Upon 12 emails to Lyca I was passed round and my questions ignored and given generic emails back The customer service team was quite obviously struggling with English skills I can upload these emails to prove it Then I said why are you required to add 5 credit and it doesn’t say that on the packaging or on there branding or website I mentioned a complaint to ofcom the telecoms regulator and then suddenly they seemed to give me some answers They said this is now there policy and it’s been updated on the website however I believe this is false advertising and it should be clear for all to see To sell a product then demand 5 to even receive a call is terrible Then to have to call 8x and send 12x emails to get no results and no real solutions is terrible I would strongly recommend all people to avoid Lyca at all costs and use another mvno such as Lebara or even a MNO not Lyca who simply pay rent to 02 to use there service At least with 02 you would get a level of customer service not generic replies Absolutely shocked and disgusted and have made my complaints to the regulators

Useless I have reached the customer service 15-20 times for first 7 days now . I have no signal no any bars and I'm trying a few different towns , not just in my home . Ist something with the card I believe they still trying to rest something

I was told by customer care person to go-to the link provided by her to recharge. I went and recharged through that link and got an email with order number. I checked my account still showed as suspended. Messaged the same person again she told she don't know gave me the email address to contact. I asked her I have a order number please help. She told me that drop an email and disconnected the chat

I give one star because I cannot give 0. Bad network anywhere in Europe, continuous problems and errors, horrible customer service. I eventually managed to port my number to another provider, after I cancelled my subscription to Lycamobile and they still stole money from me. Please AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! It is a scam.
