“I was called by the staff to ensure that I had ordered the correct item. Apparently people order the wrong equipment often and they wanted to ensure I knew what I was buying. That kind of care is rare these days and it meant a lot that they put in that effort to ensure my satisfaction preemptively instead of reactively.”

“My husband and I have rugged radios for riding. They work over a wide range of distance. We also run a park with quite a bit of acreage. They work from end to end covering a distance over a mile easily. Our lifeguards, gate guards and staff all use them without any issues. Just wish they were waterproof. The boat police on our lake also use ours in case of any incident where we can support each other. Next on our list to purchase is a G1 communication kit for our side by side.”

“The highlight was I ordered the wrong radio but you made it right by me. You might want to make it clear what band the radio transmits on. It’s great for noise reduction and being able to speak with others.”

“Radios worked great! Super important when riding with a family and inexperienced riders to ensure everyone is safe when navigating obstacles and hazards. All our friends have them and it’s been fantastic. Two of our children are now in Flight school and we will be looking to add the aviator headsets.”

“Our experience was superb, but it was helped by having friends that have been down this path. What would be helpful in my case would have been to be able to talk with someone after entering my first order and get suggestions and answers. For those of us older individuals, were not especially adept at parsing out the particulars. That is the reason I had to return items. With my second order it was a lot easier. would suggest that all new purchases have a followup. and recommend that referrals review the web site and then call.”

“My group of ATV riders planned a big out of state 10 day trip. Spent a significant amount of money stepping up our game with communications. Every person ran into issues with the Moto set ups. The fact that there is no interchangeability between helmet kits or adding Bluetooth is ridiculous. Price gouging to make it all functional shows what’s important to Rugged and it isn’t the customer. Didn’t have any issues with radios but everything else was a disappointment”

“Radios worked great, liked the option to operate off the battery in my Jeep or have them charged up on the charger. Regular battery did not last the whole time we were on the trail, so I bought a longer life battery. Also recommend having the ability to use the Jeep battery when the regular battery runs out of juice.”
