I am writing this as we approach day 4 of Yodel's "next day delivery" service. I have had 5 webchat conversations with the supposed customer service, even once eventually getting through to a manager and yet STILL nothing has been done. Currently my parcel says it has been "loaded for delivery" since 10am this morning. The store I bought this from have been brilliant and tried their best to get things moving. On day 1 the delivery driver claimed to be unable to find a 3 story victorian townhouse on a main road. Yesterday there was no drivers to take the parcel. Today, it just seems no one has bothered. I could have gone for the free 3 day delivery option with another courier and I wouldn't have had to explain to a little girl on her birthday why her main present wasn't there and she couldn't wear her new shoes to her party with her friends. If you can't fulfil a service you purport to offer and receive payment for, not only are you falsely advertising but you are breaching a service contract. No doubt tomorrow i will AGAIN have a conversation with your useless customer service staff to be told you are going "as quickly as possible". UNFORTUNATLY THAT ISN'T THE SERVICE I PAID FOR. Sort yourselves out.

Twice I've ordered Christmas and birthday presents and both times I've not received my order. What a joke of a service and surely can't be running a business like this, it's like a scam and probably needs reported to trading standards. Look at all the 1* reviews. I now have to get CCTV just to prove their incompetent/thieving drivers haven't delivered my order. It's not hard really, get my signature or a neighbours and leave it with them.

If you buy online particularly from eBayUK, make sure that the sender is not using Yodel. My experience with Yodel (which is still ongoing) echoes the same stories as many others. ( The tracking indicates that the parcel has delivered....but it has not) 6 days of completely wasted web chat and phone calls to a robot. Then finally an email from Liverpool, indicating that Yodel have no knowledge of the parcel and that I should contact the seller....who is viewing the same Yodel tracking indicating that the parcel has been delivered....!!!! To avoid this madness please to yourself a favour and check before purchase, who your delivery company will be.

We get a food delivery every week from gusto and they use these as a delivery service and they either walk into my home without invitation, throw my box up the side ally and damage items, or leave it until 9pm to deliver the item.. And there customer service is a joke all they say is you have to wait for delivery instead of trying to help

If I could give zero stars, I would. I never have a good experience with Yodel. Today’s effort is they have marked my parcel as delivered and then claimed it was handed to the customer. No one was in at the alleged delivery time, so the item was most certainly not handed to the customer. None of my neighbours have taken it for me either. So their driver is lying, there was no delivery attempt made, or if there was, it certainly wasn’t to me. Now I have to go through the hassle of chasing it up. It’s an absolute nightmare trying to get hold of anyone in customer service to get further information. Their call centres aren’t open on Sundays, yet deliveries are made on Sundays, so if, like me, your parcel vanishes on a Sunday, there’s nothing you can do about it at the time. My previous interactions with them, the item was delayed by around 10 days, by which time I had had to find an alternative solution as I needed the item before a certain date. Tried to make a complaint about it as I had been messed around for days trying to sort it out, but no one ever came back to me or followed up. Terrible courier company, don’t give a toss about customer service and completely unreliable. Good luck receiving your parcel if Yodel get their hands on it!

OMG I'm reading the reviews on this company and I'm 100% with all you who have experienced extremely poor customer service. I could write a novel on the mistakes they made after a simple booking for delivery of a new mobile phone has turned in to a nightmare. The delivery date was not suitable so I rescheduled and then had to work Nightduty last minute and had to rearrange the date for delivery again. The final date I'd scheduled I had worked a 12hr nightshift the night before, came home and stayed awake all day waiting for delivery of my parcel. It never came. I had to contact yodel through a useless system of web chat who cut you off if they think your complaining or don't give you time to type your message and they end the chat (people are not all secretarial typists. You cannot speak to any human beings within the company and the tracking system is just not correct. I ended up being awake 32hrs and still not receiving my parcel with my new phone. I informed Webchat I would not be home all day Thursday so they go ahead and re book re delivery for Thursday??? What is wrong with these people or is webchat a computer robot or a human with half a brain?? I called Virgin to inform them about yodel and that I'd still not recieved my phone and they were able to call directly to a human being at Yodel and they then transferred the call to me while I was still on the phone with Virgin. Unbelievable!!! Virgin gave me the phone number they used to contact an actual Yodel advisor to speak with and when I tried it myself it said number not in use??? On the Internet there is an email address to complain to the managing director called "Andrew Peeler". I emailed my complaint directly to him and the email came back not recognised. I'm still waiting today for my parcel and tracking had just shown that the driver is only 5 minutes away from my home, but he won't be here at my house till between 5-7pm and it says he also has 131 more parcels to deliver before he gets to me..... what a load of utter garbage. I'm now in the process of discussing this issue with the Ombudsman about the service and treatment of customers with company and please listen everyone out there..... don't ever use this company as its customer service is disgusting. This was my first time ever having to deal with this company and I've just read on the Internet that 2 years ago in a poll they rated 3rd worst delivery service in UK, but after the 4th poll results, its been rated the worst or of all the delivery services. 57% said they had a terrible ordeal dealing with this company and would never use again.... That percentage for me has just increased even higher and hope people steer well clear and use a reputable company you can trust. Hopefully the company with fizzle out and go bust. Now that would make me happy.

I was informed that l would have to sign for my parcel. So l waited in patiently, and followed the tracking. I left a note of outside on my front door for the courier to press my 2 doorbells. To cut a long story short, l opened my door, the parcel had been left there. The driver didn't even bother the ring the bells, and l didn't sign for it. I was worried that someone could have stolen it, because it was worth £2,000 I was left feeling upset and angry. 👎☹️😠😡

Parcel number JD0002230074011280 not delivered to the correct address. No answer from the address delivered to so just left in the garden. Parcel was opened.

It is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They charged me extra (a lot extra) for a next day delivery, and it has been a week and still there is no delivery. The customer service have no clue how to help, when it will be delivered. Basically the customer service has been given a script and they just copy paste answers from it. After a week of delay, they say they have delivered it, but the customer service cannot say where it was delivered, who accepted it or even a picture. So basically now they have lost the package. They are the most incompetent group of people I have ever had to deal with. Stay away and choose any other service

My driver was a liar! we followed the delivery drop by drop and when we were the next delivery I went to the window and my wife went to the door to wait for him, nobody turned up, after a good amount of time I checked the progress, it said, sorry we missed you and the driver has left a card, no body came near and no card was left. I contacted customer support via computer, the only way I could speak to any one, and they were as much use as a chocolate tea pot, all they said was the driver will try again tomorrow, why couldn't they phone the driver! This company is a joke and from now I will let all my suppliers know not to use yodel when sending to me.

If I could put no stars I would! Returned two packages to two different retailers via a parcel shop and Yodel have mixed them up. I am now being asked to pay again for one of the items as the retailer is saying that I haven't returned it. Absolutely Furious - will NEVER use this service again.

Yet another "delivery" from Yodel saying delivered but not to my address. This makes 5, I wish companies would let you know eho will be delivering, I wouldn't buy from them if it was Yodel. Pictures of delivery showing layby somewhere, why is this acceptable

I had two parcels delivered which contained porcelain figures out of the 5 items in there there was only one that wasn’t smashed customer services said they didn’t insure porcelain even though they took £10 of me for the insurance which they will not refund or compensate the driver must have used these parcels as a football absolutely disgusting company don’t ever use them they deserve to go out of buisness

POOR DELIVERY SERVICE DISGRACEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICES. Item showed delivered , then changed to left on porch , I had been sat home waiting on the delivery and no such attempt or drop was made ,after contacting yodel customer services I was told the item WAS delivered ( basically calling me a lier ) we can see by GPS the driver was in your area at the time of delivery ,after contacting the seller to chase this up 48hrs later I received a copy of the photo that yodel customer services had to hand as proof of delivery ,, I was delivered to the wrong address. See pictures below address label and my house number is 46 you can see clearly the house number delivered too which is 200ft away from my location.

My parcel has been lost or delivered to the wrong address by Yodel. I have spoken to two different people within an online chat (Vikram on Monday and Randhir on Tuesday). They both promised that I would hear back from Yodel within 24 hours, but I’ve heard nothing. Vikram told me that he knew my parcel had been delivered to a postcode “near” to mine, but not to my address. I am disgusted that I am being treated so badly. I want a full refund for my parcel immediately! `You are a disgrace Yodel! Lindy James

Absolutely fuming... after waiting all day for delivery then at 9.12pm get an email saying my parcel had been delivered.. To who?? Not me!! Had around £100 worth of clothes in that package.. and no way of contacting driver after "delivery"

Worst delivery firm ,said delivering on Saturday they had delivery address as we changed it had conformation it had been updated on Friday evening said delivery on Saturday didnot arrive Monday got in touch they said delivery address hadn't been updated it is still in local depot been there since Friday depot is only 10 mins away asked if I can collect it they said Wednesday what a rubbish firm they lie and wouldn't use them myself very poor

Out and out liars delivery driver lied saying they had been delivered to an address a mile away driver expects me to chase this up myself i can't as i am housebound and his mobile number doesn't answer time to take this a little further as yodel aren't interested
