For the 4th time now I have paid for Next Day Delivery and they haven’t delivered the next day! Absolutely shocking, don’t charge for a service you cannot provide. The tracking system says “Sorry there is a short delay”, no other information. Try to contact one of their customer services and they are always busy. People use Next Day because they need the items THE NEXT DAY. Otherwise they wouldn’t pay it. I never experience any of these issues with other delivery services, as soon as I see my supplier has chosen Yodel my heart sinks as I know it’ll be late, and I’m always right!

Awful. They don't even deliver to our whole business park (my biz address) and always state 'refused at door' at my home address when they didn't even turn up AND I have a 'safe place' set. A bargain basement courier - avoid them and ANY online firm that uses them - nobody needs the chaos, chasing on refunds or lost orders, and hassle.

Rubbish said at 3pm was 22 stops away at 5pm is a delay now 9pm still no parcel and guess what all contact options now closed waited all day for nothing

Extremely poor and unreliable service. I don’t know how they expect a driver to make 220 drops in a day! It seems like they just switch off tracking and keep you in the dark. Absolutely unreliable and arrogant. Use at your peril. These comments are only made after our sixth incident of none delivery and blatant lies that they have tried to deliver and we weren’t in.

The delivery driver felt it appropriate to leave flowers addressed to a maternity unit at a hospital by some locked loading bay doors and then send a message that they had been delivered to the 'safe place' on the 'back porch'. In all my 55 years on this planet, I have never heard of a hospital having a 'back porch'. The staff at the hospital (including a nurse from the maternity unit, cleaners and security staff) searched around but could not find the flowers. I complained and the complaint was NOT upheld because they were 'delivered to the correct address'. Seriously??? Who in their right mind thinks leaving flowers at the loading bay of a hospital constitutes delivery to a correct address? Who, with one iota of common sense, would not take a delivery to the very well signed reception desk? I have asked for the complaint to be escalated as this is simply not acceptable, particularly when the response to my complaint has stated I should 'check with family members and the surroundings of the buildings' to try and find them. So they think that I should ask my daughter, after her having had an emergency C-Section and giving birth to a premature son, to walk around the WHOLE hospital looking for these???? The staff have already gone above and beyond looking for these - time that is too precious to have to be wasted because of some inept delivery person - which is something I told Yodel via webchat before getting this ridiculous response to the complaint. And I would love to know how the complaint handler looked at picture of a box of flowers outside an obviously locked and unmanned loading bay (I have a copy of the photo) and thought "yep, that looks like the right place to leave flowers at a hospital".

worst company ever. the driver is apparently driving around with my parcel and it's getting further back in the queue every day. Why does he not make a point of delivering delayed parcels from the day before first?? Absolutely shocking, and their advisers are worse than useless.

Was due a delivery yesterday waited in all day. Got a email last night to say I my parcel was delivered at 11.30 am and handed to customer. Well there was no delivery it wasn’t handed over to me and I didn’t sign for anything and it’s worth £600 no impressed. They will be hearing from me today, I don’t know who they have delivered it too but it wasn’t me

I'd give a score of minus 5 if i could, shocking company! Rung up five times now, keep getting different answers. Parcel has been sent back to the retailer in a bulk consignment apparently even though it was marked by my local driver as delivered to me last weds. I've explained I didn't buy it from a retailer it's from a private seller on vinted. I asked which retailer it's been sent to and the advisor said they don't know, the parcel was put in a box and has been lost. I mean wtf?? If it's part of a bulk consignment sent to a retailer, surely they know the retailer? There's absolutely no traceability despite a supposed tracking system. I've been assured three times this would be investigated and they'd get back to me, but every time I've had to chase them up, they've never got back to me. The 4th time, despite saying I'm the recipient, the advisor thought i was the sender! These people don't listen and they don't care. You just get a half hearted "Sorry you're having problems with your delivery." No you're not, you don't even make the effort to sound sorry. As for the driver, why the heck mark the parcel as delivered when you know you haven't delivered it....i think it might be called stealing. I'm absolutely disgusted with this joke of a company!! Nothing is done about them though, even after all these bad reviews.

Had message to say had tried to deliver a virgin mobile. Said nobody in and had left green card. I was waiting at the door. No card and nobody came. This is about the 3rd time this has happened. It is beyond a joke. Complete rubbish. Writing to my newspaper about this.

Absolutely appalling service. I was notified that my parcel was left on the porch. I don't even have a porch. Yodel said a card was left and it wasn't. I wonder if those responsible for delivering these parcels are conscious about their decisions. Surely you'd like to ensure a good customer service. No parcel no card. Disappointed.

Absalutley rubbish, ordered a dress for guaranteed next day delivery followed tracking all day to be told courier could not find address I live on a 50 year old housing estate do they not have satnav? Then tracking said it had been delivered at 7.45pm that evening ..I was home. I could not make contact with them it was all answer machines and automated. Dress eventually arrived 2 weeks later. Waited on Virgin media parcel also said had been delivered eventually arrived a week later. And ordered another item which needed for weekend once again it's missing now have one day to find a replacement as I'm sure it's not arriving anytime soon!!! AVOID THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY!!!

Waited for 4 hours for parcel , I checked tracking right till it got to 1 delivery before mine ,then tracking changed saying sorry they missed me & they left a card , this is what is infuriating the lies I cannot abide , if it was delayed just say so all because I paid for next day delivery & yodel was unable to meet that obligation.

absolutely terrible company - needs to be shut down! I don't know anyone who has had a positive experience with Yodel. I was sent a text and email saying my parcel had been delivered to a neighbour and I should have received a note with the details. However, I received no note. When i checked the tracking details on the email it said my parcel was left with a neighbour at an address far from, my house - hardly a neighbour! I have since tried the house 3 times and no one seems to be in and i'm not even sure the parcel is even there. My ÂŁ230 worth of clothes are somewhere random. Absolutely terrible service - stop this company operating! Do not use this company - avoid it at all costs! SHUT THEM DOWN

I always know I will experience problems when I realise the carrier is Yodel. They always say they have tried to deliver my goods and left a card which they have never done. I have tracked my goods and even found that they are in my area, but still no goods are delivered. We have regular deliveries from other companies and do not experience any problems. I implore companies not to use this company.

Very poor and the webchat little help. Package correctly addressed, claimed to have been delivered to my front porch, found the following day on top of the front wall of a house 100 yards down the road and on the opposite site of the road. Will avoid buying from anyone using this company.

This company is parcel delivery company that does not believe in customer service as sat in my front room, saw the van and waiting for a knock at front door but nothing. I got email 10 minutes later saying sorry for missing you today. Tried to arrange delivery and got told it will be delivered when we feel like it, told the delivery driver that parcel was perishable got told it just tough.
