“Purchased a small plant last year. It was virtually dead in a few months. Phoned up and sent photos and emails. Plant was on a lifetime guarantee, however in order to get a replacement I was expected to pay another £6.99 postage. This would have meant that I paid £6.99 for the plant and £13.98 for the postage. And no guarantee that the new plant would be healthy. I phoned customer services again but was told that the only way I could get a replacement was to pay the postage as this was company policy. I will never buy plants from here again. You get much better service from other online plant suppliers. If I could give zero stars I would!!”
“Twice now I have had my order accepted and confirmed it.
Twice now they have written to me to tell there was a problem with my payment, and to phone a number that costs me extra money.
Then make the in payment again.
I gave You Garden the benefit of the doubt the first time, but I know I gave correct bank details the second time.
So I can only conclude it is a scam. Especially as I received a phone call from an employee using a Newcastle number.

“Ordered a cherry Tree Oct 2021 he’d 2 emails saying not ready yet about a week ago had another email saying the order was cancelled as they could get them only had my money over 3 months today they issued a refund nearly £3 short of what I payed looking at my emails only to find they have sent out the fertiliser for the tree so why do I need this when I have NO tree to use it on this is only to keep my . I Monet will never order from them again I just don’t know what plant this company is on .Please don’t order from them”
“I ordered two roses said they would arrive in mid Nov i rang 28th November to be told that they are waiting for one of the roses and that it has just arrived should be with you in a couple of days rang again today 2nd December to be told they are waiting for one of the roses, so i have just cancelled the order and asked for a refund

“No answer to email asking why only half of my order arrived also cherry tree shed its leaves over night and looks very dead--- reading other reviews it seems to be the thing with this company take the money send either dead or half orders and end of story. “Awful customer service. ordered on 1st July, not recieved so chased on 23rd yo be told to wait another 7 working days l. Was not happy with response so asked for more information, to be told they were actually out of stock and didn't know when they would get them back in, and told as I wasn't happy I would probably be best having a refund.
Told them I wanted my plants and wanted a rough idea on time and asked why I had confirmation that delivery would be in 14 days if they were not even jn stock, they couldn't answer me they just ignored that question. and the fact that I was not happy with the level of customer service was simply 'passed on to the relevant department as feedback'
They also appear to be deleting negative comments on their Facebook page and only leaving positive comments.
Plenty of other plant retailers with far better service. I would avoid at all costs.”

“absolute conmen .my mum (disabled btw)ordered a union jack Calibrachoa set of 2 baskets ,and 2 other petunia baskets .didnt arrive so spoke to them ...oh we have got many orders and are very busy so might be a week or 2 late as we have had tons of orders for the union jacks.
another 2 weeks later the 2 sets of baskets turn up and all look the same? .spoke to them again saying one set should be red white and blue as in pic (i think this is why they call em union jack basket no?) no mention of petunia in description for this basket but thats what i got and is red purple and blue nothing at all like picture on website(all calibrocha) so asked for refund for 1 set
.now theyve removed the union jack baskets and in an email theyve sent a totally different picture not what i ordered and said the order is correct as they look like picture ???.BTW ordered 2 different sets off baskets but all look the same ???
also looks like someone had been playing football with them soil everywhere, some plants snapped damaged.never use this company again utter trash they will take your money and run!!!

“Absolutely awful company. Order lemon and orange tree for my daughter's birthday which they said would be delivered within 14 days. Upon contacting them after 15 days was told the items were out of stock and they didn't know when they would be having more. They did not even have the courtesy to e-mail me about this. “Use this company at your peril customers service is a two fingers in your face and the rather patronizing lady on the phone was no entertaining any complaint i am guess they had taken the money end of story i had Purchased a lemon tree in April the plant has always struggled despite following growing instructions exactly from the RHS website. last throw of the dice was to repot the plant that's when i discovered the root ball had two roots of around three inches in size this plant was clearly of shocking poor quality stock that it was clear at £26.99 i was provided with an extremely poor product i had been scammed by your company .YOURGARDEN REFUSED TO EXCHANGE IT THEY EVEN REFUSED TO EXAMINE IT AFTER I OFFERED TO BRING THE PLANT IN FOR EXAMINATION !( i live very close to Peterbourgh) my advice is rather then buy from this company put your money into compost at least you get something back!! i have posted this inspite of my embarrassment of being scammed to protect other people”
