We are due to go on a YGT trip this coming weekend. Unfortunately 3 of our group of 16 now have to attend a funeral and are unable to join us. GT have shown zero sympathy and offered no refund or compensation. I have left numerous phone messages and emails and the guy we are dealing with - Matthew Outram - wont even respond to the. My colleague did reach out to customer services who were equally unsympathetic!. Disappointing as we are a group of 16 who regularly go away on golf trips and we had a bad experience with YGT in the past but thought we would give them a chance - our mistake and we will not be using them again.

Golf holiday brilliant, great hotel and golf courses spot on. Since giving them my number tho, constantly getting scam caller's. It's not on so probably won't use again

Tested positive for covid on morning of golf weekend. Contacted YGT, to be told, tough, we can't refund your money or rebook for a later date, you have to either get someone else to go, or claim on your insurance. Shocking service.

Just arrived home after 2 nights 3 rounds at The Bells Hotel and Country Club Staff could not do enough to help Food excellent more than you could eat with plenty of choice Although weather not the best (chance you take this time of year) the course stood up well with tidy smooth greens but very soft,only bad point was playing off mats they are to small .Because course has large teeing areas anyway this could have been avoided by just moving tees each day This is my only fault for our stay. Well done ygt excellent value Will definitely be back at Bells soon Lee

Update 05: Dated 23 Feb 2022: YGT is harassing us by sending us to legal for just asking for the money that they owe us. We have been chasing payments since 10th Oct 2021. All emails and documents are available. Our advice is if you are owed any money by this company, please kindly look at the balance sheet and the losses they have made last year (from companies house). I would be very vary of giving credit to this business. We have burnt our fingers 10s of thousands of pounds outstanding and threats and defamation claims on phone and calling us "stupid". The sr customer service person called our manager "STUPID" for asking for our dues. Update 04: Dated 22 Feb 2022: We have been in touch with a number of club to whom YGT woes money to and we are in the process of joining up with all the clubs and hotels monies are woed to make a joint claim. I am have been approached by lot of individual groups who are still awaiting refunds for several months. I am happy to share my contact details if anyone else wants to join in the claim. Some of the people who have contact me have successfully won CCJ's against YGT They seem to be professional and have all the tactics and ticks that one can imaging under the roof to delay payments, excuses includes: 1. All payments will run during next payment run 2. Once the payment run has happened and your are not part of the payment run, then they will send you an email asking for bank confirmation so that they are effective and pay the correct account. 3. Once you verify the correct bank details, they will place you on the next payment run 4. Once again when the payment dont reach you on the promised payment run, they will find another excuse not to pay you. 5. Once the other issues are sorted out, you are placed for the next payment run. 6. Eventually you are on a vicious loop of the same thing over and over again. But you will never see the light of the payments. Update 03: Dated 22 Feb 2022: We have been made to feel threatened and are now being held randsom for removing these reviews else our dues are not going to be paid. We are also being threatened with legal action just for asking for our debt to be cleared. Update: Dear Caroline, It has been over 21 Days since the time we first spoke and yet no resolution to the outstanding amounts. WE have called in numerous times and have been promised several call backs yet, no one responds or calls back. It has all been only empty promises. Please can you give us a call. We are only posting on social media because you stopped responding to calls and email. Regards Previous Post We are a hotel and golf club and are owed more than 27K since the beginning of last year and I have tired on numerous occasions to contact the accounts team and the account manager, emails have not been replied to and we are not being able to talk to any one about any payments. I am posting this review as a last resort to get in touch with someone in the company who can clear the outstanding with our hotel.

Still waiting on my refund as been waiting bout 14 weeks even after they rang me up this week for my bank details to pay me straight away but still not got it. Just more lies. Trading standards have been informed and small claims court will be in order. Ppl stay away from this company.

Had a trip to Turkey booked for April 2020. Cancelled due to Covid. Wasn't offered a refund so rebooked the same trip for April 2021 at an extra cost of £150 per person. Cancelled due to Covid. Wasn't offered a refund so rebooked same trip again for April 2022 at another extra cost of £210 per person. So in total extra cost from original booking of £360 per person. They have had our money since September 2019. Have been trying to change tee times since May 2021. After 8 emails to the person who was eager to sell the trip (Alex Fieldsend) I still have had no reply. 3 emails to customer services again no reply. 2 phone calls to customer services who promised to sort it out. No reply. We are now quite worried when we go about what we will find when we get there. Totally bemused and disgusted with lack of any service. Avoid Yourgolftravel at all all costs. You have been warned!

I have booked at least 6 times with this company however after having a terrible experience on last holiday chasing up my queries to get sorted still waiting on answers 3 months down the line I will never ever book with them again quick enough to take your money after sales terrible really really bad

Just returned from 5 days Golf in Vale do lobo organised by YourGolfTravel and can't recommend them highly enough. This is the 12th time I have used YGT, and will certainly be using them for any golfing holidays in the future. Colin Spurway

Disgraceful customer service. My wife and I have booked numerous holidays with YGT and they have all been excellent. In 2020 however we had to cancel a holiday to Turkey because of covid. We had not yet paid for accommodation or golf but were told that we would lose our flights, which had been paid for unless we paid a rebooking fee £100 pp) and rolled the entire holiday forward for a year. We did this and of course covid was still here in 2021. Once again I was told that the flight money would be lost unless I paid the balance. In fact this was simply not true as by looking on the Jet2 website it was clear that the flights could be rearranged to other destinations or times. In the event Jet2 cancelled the flight before I could rearrange and presumably a refund is issued, but not to me. I have sent countless emails to YGT which go unanswered. I have phoned dozens of times to our personal advisor (Alex Fieldsend) who has always been very attentive when we have been booking but now will not take my calls or phone back. Sadly I will never use YGT again.

AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE OF A COMPANY. We've waited for over 27weeks so far for a couple of our party who can sadly no longer go away, due to covid to get a refund. We stuck by YGT through the whole covid period and even rebooked when we could have got our money back over £12000. They've been nothing short of a shambles, customer service dont do any thing apart from tell you more lies or palm you off.

I was in a group booking for 6 ladies to go to East Sussex National. Two nights, 19th & 20th October. Spa treatments Tuesday. Two games of golf (Wednesday& Thursday). Grandson, who lives with us and for whom I am a primary carer, tested positive for Covid at 1:00 pm 18th October. My grandson was unable to go to stay with his other grandmother as planned so I was forced to cancel my booking. The other five ladies carried on to their booking under the name of Kathy LLoyd. Ref: 343176/19102. Kathy phoned Your golf Travel on several occasions during the afternoon. She said that they had implied no refund would be possible but a voucher or deferment could be given. She received an email at just after 5 pm saying that I would incur the full cost with no refund. I also phoned last night and was met with a very unsympathetic response. Under the circumstances I strongly feel that this was very unsatisfactory. I phoned the East Sussex National and, had I not booked through Your Golf Travel, would have allowed me to defer to another date. However, since it was booked via your company they said I had to deal with you. As you can imagine the whole episode has been extremely stressful. I was looking forward to the break and was only able to do so since my grandson would have been away. I cannot believe that in this Covid era your company can be so inflexible and unsympathetic, especially as the East Sussex National Hotel would be prepared to offer a voucher or deferment. I hope you can come up with some satisfactory solution. Kay Barnard

I think they are going into liquidation! If you are anxiously awaiting a refund for a cancelled holiday you will have a very, very long wait. we've been waiting months! I believe they have no intention of paying back the monies they owe.

I have been waiting 1 yr for a refund unbelievable how bad the customer service is. Had 100 calls when they took my booking now the same person refused to speak to me. Promised a refund but no contact since.

We all know problems have occurred due to COVID, however but Your Golf Travel seem to take this to a new level. Holiday Cancelled in early Feb 2021. Promised Refund in 3 Months Then delayed to 3 Months from Holiday date. Then stated it was happening soon. Chased them repeatedly for a committed date which we did receive. Promised date has not past and they seem to be ambivalent to returning our money. This was a booking for several couples and is a significant amount of money. Note: This holiday followed on from a holiday in April 2020 where we were not given refund option. We had to rebook and they retained all monies paid for full duration

Do not go anywhere near this company they have had our money about£3300 for 18 months for a twice cancelled golf holiday in Turkey and despite numerous contacts will not pay out what we are owed. Customer service is shocking and if you place your golf holiday trust in them tou are taking a big risk
