Ordered an xbox one bundle, company took money immediately but took three enquiries by myself and over a week for zavvi to admit they couldn't fulfill the order and will take over a week to refund my money. Useless company. Stay clear!

I pre-ordered an item in October before it was released as I knew it would sell out fast. The order number stated estimated despatch 20th November, after not receiving a dispatch email I contacted them to find out what was going on and was told that the item was out of stock and unlikely to come back in. The only option they gave me was to cancel! Totally unacceptable when pre-ordered a month in advance. Why was I not informedthat the item was out of stock until I contacted them?! Will not be using this company again.

I ordered speakers from Zavvi and they were guaranteed to be delvivered within a few days. I heard form the delivery company that they had received instructions to deliver. then i heard they hadnt received the parcel and so delivery would be delayed. Then I heard nothing. I contacted Zavvi 3 times and they kept putting me off asking me to wait and wait. They were just delaying the investigation even though the delivery company said they did not have the parcel. I did not have the parcel over a week later and they refused to process a refund till a further time period had passed. I am disgusted with their approach to me. Nothing better than an automated telephone message at the start of your call.

Ordered a dvd set that was advertised as a region code free item. Company shipped me a region code 2 item that is unusable outside the UK. Company is unwilling to admit any fault and their customer service sucks. Additionally they do not have a phone number to contact them by. I didn't read company reviews prior to ordering the item...An error that will not be repeated. Stay away from Zavvi.

Ordered an Xbox one as it was advertising in stock delivery usually within 24 hrs...well that was on the 19th Nov. getting concerned now, no record of my order on my account although I have a confirmation email of my order. Can't call anyone, no number. Written three emails, no reply? Xmas present for son...how can I cancel my order so that I can re-order with a trustworthy company. VERY POOR SERVICE! Non-existent customer helpline!

Frankly, this is the worst customer service reply I have ever received. I sent you a link to one of your products asking if VAT was included in the price and Gary Bailey sent me a pathetic reply which made no sense. As there is no working phone number I will not be buying this product from you. Therefore you have forfeited a sale of £139 and a great deal of good will.

Up Date Contacted Citizens Advise concerning cancellation of PS4 BUNDLE and return of items received from Zavvi at their expensive rather than mine. Citizens Advise advised me that Zavvi is in breach of contract and that I do not have to pay to return goods as they only supplied part of my order. I ordered a PS4 which was meant to come with Assassins Creed Syndicate, Nathan Drake Collection and Play Station T.V. Nathan Drake and Play Station T.V was delivered and then Zavvi cancelled my order due to unavailability of stock. Disappointed and rather annoyed that the company did not have the decency to advise me that they were cancelling my order. I only discovered this when I checked my order on line to see if the PS4 had been dispatched. Needless to say I contacted Zavvi and requested that they send me a pre-paid label so that I could return the two items that they had delivered. I have now sent a total of 5 emails explaining that I feel that Zavvi should pay the postage to return these items as they cancelled my order and if they had of fulfilled said order I would not be returning anything. Zavvi refuse and insist I pay for goods to be collected or use royal mail. I do not think so. This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with I only wish I had of read this review page before placing an order with this so called company.

Put stuff up for sale that was never in stock. Why do Amazon and eBay allow them to sell with such poor metrics? Smaller companies would have been suspended

I will never order from this company again. I ordered a one off Zbox from Zavvi to receive ONE zbox for ONE month. After i received the box i emailed them asking for clarification that i would not receive any more zbox's from them in the future. I received an email clarifying that i had no active subscriptions and would not receive anymore zbox's. However, the next month i received another box in the post and they had taken a payment from my bank account without my permission. I contacted them to request a return as i never ordered this box in the first place. This has been the most ridiculously difficult ordeal i've ever experienced with a company. They are trying everything in their power to avoid allowing me to return the item. They have not answered any of the queries in my emails and have sent me TWO wrong return labels. I went to the collect point AND the post office who wont accept the label as it is not scanable. Now the package will be overdue the return date. I am giving up trying to contact them as they dont have a telephone number and i keep getting generic responses via email. I am contacting trading standards in the moring as this company has conned me out of money. Do not waste your time with this company. Not worth it.

Ordered a DVD Box to not knowing this company was located in the UK. It still shouldn't have taken 4 weeks to arrive but they did say that it might in their email. Cardboard box in a bubble wrap envelope arrived and even before opening it, I knew what probably happened to its edges and yes - all edges had dents as if the box had been in use for a few years. I was going to accept that and live with it but then I opened it and found out that they'd sent the wrong language edition, not the one I had ordered. So I contacted their customer service via the website and got a reply within a day. While that's good service, I'd appreciate it, if they made sure that their standard texts in foreign languages are free from mistakes and unambiguous in meaning. I supplied some fotos of the box and they immediately offered a refund if I send the box back. Along with that came a form to put into the return package and it had a barcode label with their address on it to go on the outside of the return parcel. I thought the barcode was for the post to scan but handing it to the lady she could only tell me that it wasn't one of their codes and that I'd probably have to pay for it myself. All I could say to that is, that I didn't know because the instructions on the form were so unclear. Honestly, it read like a google translator translation, not like it was done by a human. The form was also filled in to refund me instead of exchanging the box for the correct one so I tried changing that by adding an explanation but it was obviously ignored. I sent it from the UK when I was on holiday a couple of weeks later because I had a hunch that they weren't going to pay for shipping. And I was right. A few days after sending it back, they sent me a confirmation email and said they'd refund my purchase price. I immediately replied, saying that I wanted the shipping costs as well, since this refund was not what I had asked for and any mistakes had been made on their end. The response given was that they do not cover return shipping costs. I replied, asking whether that was their final word since I had done nothing wrong and ended up having nothing but inconvenience and shipping costs on my end. I said that this was very poor business manners and that I'd tell everyone I know about my experience with them if they didn't think it was their duty to pay for the costs that their mistake had caused. So now, 2 weeks after that, all I have heard off them is that my last complaint had been forwarded to the appropriate people. Zavvi, I'll take that as a "no, were not paying your 3 pounds shipping" and hope that you either realize that this is really bad business conduct or that people just stop ordering from you. Simple things could improve your company significantly: - get employers in customer service with good language skills if you want to do business abroad - protect your goods from shipping damage properly, everybody knows that bubble wrap doesn't protect cardboard well - if the mistake is made on your end, have the balls to admit it and set it right without leaving your customers to clean up after you I won't be buying from you again any time soon, that much is for sure!

Ordered three items in a £30 deal. sent 2 and refuse to accept their mistake or acknowlege the deal in 2 weeks of messages (the only way you can contact them) trust me stay away its not worth it. they now want me to return items....making me £4.60 out of pocket for the return postage. will be going to ofcom and fraud its my only option now.

I seriously don't even want to give them one star, but since it's not possible to give them none, this is the grade I'm forced to give them. I don't know where to start or where to end in this review, so I'll just lay it down in short terms. I ordered a Zbox in the beginning of October and thereby I also automatically subscribed for the boxes to come in future. Or so I thought. I had to write to let them know, that I had not received my box after 14 days. They replied, that it had to be on it's way and I got it the next day. In the end of October I wrote them again to ensure that my "November box" would come as I planned, since I could not see anything in my subscription list on their website. They replied that everything was in order. In the beginning of November my status still said: "Pending". Naturally they had withdrawn the money from my account (that always seem to be working). However no shipment of my order was made. I've contacted Zavvi on the occasions the following days. They all had different stories and explanations. 24 hour respond time is by the way very annoying when you try to communicate with someone. Well, they first told me they couldn't find my order, then that they couldn't find the subscription and finally that it had been shipped on the 2nd of November. I live fairly close to the UK and I still have received absolutely nothing :-( My status still says: "Pending" and I'm still extremely upset!

Very bad company. Received a damaged item which was beyond repair. I emailed them about expecting a refund. Sent photos and they only offered me a 15% refund. I also have another item that's been pending for over a month! Don't be fooled by the low prices!

Pre-ordered a game, so it should arrive on the day of release on the 06/11/2015, just in time for a birthday. NOW I've just received an email saying it should be here by the 11th, Why offer a pre-ordering service if you can't even ship a disc on time. And don't even try contacting them they never reply. Will avoid in future, you should to.

Just the worst online company I have dealt with. Preordered a game with bonus DLC and the standard game came more then a week late. Sent it back as I had bought it somewhere else by then and now it is a month and a half later and still no refund! Absolutely awful! Avoid and stick with Amazon!! Or anyone else really!

Customer service.....what customer service??? I placed an order on Monday and they came back to me with a query on Wednesday which I responded to straight away but still haven't heard back. I then sent another email on Thursday asking for an update and stating that I would need to cancel the order if they couldn't get my purchase to me for Friday and finally got a response to this email on Friday saying sorry you want to cancel your order....I didn't want to cancel, I wanted them to send it to me!!!! You have to raise all queries online as they do not have a telephone number. You then get an automated response to your emails stating that they aim to respond within 24 hours but allow up to 48. It was 48 hours before they raised the original query with me and it's over 48 hours since I sent my second email. They obviously don't want a £280 sale. What sort of company doesn't have a telephone number to contact them on????? A dodgy one...avoid!!!!!!!

This is my first time ordering from this website Zavvi. I ordered one dvd movie to try it out and be on the safe side incase it was a scam. I ordered on 9/28/2015. Well, I still haven't received my package and after several emails (4 emails) trying to contact customer service, I will finally be receiving my refund in 3 to 5 days. However, the refund is for the wrong amount and it has taken more than a month. After receiving a confirmation email from Zavvi about my refund, I contacted customer service again to advise them the refund is less than what I paid. They answered it will take 3 to 5 days again. Do not order from this site! Scam!!
