I placed an order for Christmas tops and jumpers on 2nd December for Christmas jumper day on 13th December. It is now 16th December and I haven’t received any items, and have been sent an email to confirm thar my items can’t be cancelled! On the website it says items are usually dispatched within 2 days - what a scam! This company is absolutely diabolical- do not buy anything from them as you won’t receive your order!

Wish I'd read this and other review sites before buying. Absolutely the worst service ever. Bar none. And I mean ever. Ordered a Christmas jumper on December 1st... still waiting on December 13th (National Christmas Jumper Day). Apparently I can't cancel the order, even though it has not yet despatched. But they have taken my money. After a different poor review I got a response (nothing through their own messaging centre, just automated 'fob you off'). Offered to refund me once the item was delivered...What??? Chances are it will never be delivered. Just refund me now! Do yourself a favour and block their website - it'll save you much hassle and stress.

Two working days to process for despatch is somewhat misleading and a rather bad joke! 10 working days from date of order (2nd December), my order is still logged as 'processing' on their system and says it is due for despatch by 4th December. I complained online and received an automated (and anonymous) response saying they EXPECT it will be on its way within 7 days - really?! And, not yet managed to get an answer from their phone lines - whatever time of day I call it is permanently engaged. Disappointed as this little boys Xmas present will be late (assuming it will be received!) and never felt so let down and appalled with an online service. Disgraceful business model, disappointing, unacceptable and will never use them again - assuming they stay in business!

ordered a christmas jumper for Xmas jumper day at work (ordered two in fact) nearly a week later not even dispatched. so annoyed i didnt read the reviews and avoid!!! Appalling company!!!

Appalling. Wish I had read reviews before ordering 2 weeks ago ordered a Christmas t shirt for my mother to wear to a party with a promise of 2 to 3 day delivery and guess what. Still waiting and can I get to speak to anyone No. Never to be used again and will be spreading the word

The worst customer service I have experienced. Ordered items for secret santa at work and gave more than two weeks for delivery. At this point they still havent been dispatched! Tried to call them but no one answers, emailed them to ask what the delay was and they replied saying "There has been a delay"... Top notch work Zavvi! You absolutely useless!

Laughing at anyone who came here after buying items from zavvi. Now it is YOUR turn to go on all review sites spreading the word DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. Zavvi Quotes Returned items: "Rest assured, as soon as it's done your refund would be processed." RETURNED ITEM - NEVER REFUNDED

I ordered a calendar for my son that was supposed to be here no later than November 22. I asked several times as it did not appear. They did not want to track it, as the delay wasnt long enough. I asked how the find it right to charge me for the calendar if it does not arrive in time. The answer was that it would be here by the 1st. The 1st is here, but not the calendar.

Tried to order a t-shirt using 30% discount code on their advert. It said code invalid. Contacted customer service who kept telling me the shirt was in my basket and discount was applied and said if I cleared my browsing history this would be shown to be true. Did so and nothing changed. Then they admitted I was right, there was nothing in basket, but said the code did not apply to the item I wanted whereupon I pointed out said item is still on their site with that same discount code underneath. I've now told them after over a day of useless customer service they ought to send me it gratis. I doubt they will, and if they use rubbish Hermes I'd probably never get it anyway. Shocking incompetence.

I wouldn't buy anything from this company. Their delivery company is Hermes. A Hermes delivery driver signed for a parcel pretending to be my son. He was at his place of work when he was supposed to have signed for this. He obviously didn't get his parcel and Zavvi are saying it's his signature and want paying! How the hell can they say it's his signature when he's never signed for it! Not paying. You are a shambles of a company and you should be taking the delivery driver to court for theft! We will not be paying for something he hasn't received. You're a joke. When things go right it's fine but when things go wrong you side with the thief! Disgusting! They won't even provide an address for complaints. . Something to hide? You're an absolute disgrace.

Will never use this company again. Delivery driver fraudulently signed for parcel as my son who was at work. Obviously never got the parcel. Reported this on the day 10 May. Still not posted. They tell my son it is his signature! Nothing like it! Basically calling my son a liar. . I'd like to see them prove this when he has proof he was at his place of enjoyment. This company are on better than the thief who has my son's goods and we have told Klarna numerous times we do not have the goods and will not be paying for them. No way of contacting this shambles of a company apart from live chat which is a joke! They don't give a damn! Son cannot even access his account anymore but it falls on deaf ears. We have it in writing that they say my son has signed for this so therefore calling him a liar and I class this as libel! You have been warned!

It can't be that difficult. I pre-order a steelbook in May. Looking at the order in my account it says estimated delivery date 26th August 2019. But today is the 28th August and still no dispatch notice. As with all the steelbook pre-orders they are normally dispatched 3 or 4 days before the official 'release' date. Having asked 3 times via the website and once via Twitter I have received 4 generic answers. They don't know what is going on with my order and they don't appear to care. Offering me a 10% discount on my next order is not helping me. In fact there won't be a next order unless you can sort out your customer service. I know for a fact that others have already received their copy on 24th August so why i am still waiting for it to be dispatched is a mystery. It appears that Zavvi have either run out of stock and won't own up to it or they are going out of business and will take your money but not deliver the item. Either way I currently feel that I am being defrauded with no one willing to take responsibility or answer my question with an honest answer. They now say I just have to wait!! They take your money and then fob you off. Avoid at all costs.

Zavvi is the worst company I have ever dealt with. In the middle of July I ordered a gift my son asked for. The confirmation of shipping came several days later stating it would arrive on August 1. It didn't. When it still hadn't arrived by the 5th I messaged them. I was then told to give it until Aug. 16. It still didn't arrive. Now it is almost the end of August and it still isn't here. I message them every day, sometimes several times a day and they have NOT responded once, since that 1st time. I even downloaded, filled out and sent back their form for lost shipments and still haven't heard a word from them. The worst customer service and company in general to deal with. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE!

Their returns policy appears to be deliberatly difficult or misleading. You get an email with a returns note that clearly says use this as your returns label. Buried deep in a further email is a link to a further label production step, using Royal Mail. It almost feels deliberate.

ARE ZAVVI NOW SCAMMING CUSTOMERS?!!!! I am absolutely furious with this company. I feel like I have been scammed! Last month Zavvi held a promotion, buy a set of 10 graphic novels and receive a free DC collectible. I ordered 4 sets of 10 mystery graphic novels during this promotion with 4 "Joker Poker Sets" as the free gift with each. I have now been notified by them that I will not be getting the free item as they are out of stock! I only purchased these because of the deal and now I only have the graphic novels. It says no money will be taken for it, LOL, how does that work when they were free as part of a promotion? VERY clever Zavvi! At the very least you should have offered an alternative, but no, nothing. Absolute disgrace.

I gave them plenty of opportunities to solve this situation, but they just kept showing their CRIMINAL side so I'm just leaving my experience on all the major review sites hoping that it won't happen again to someone else and people would be more aware of the fraud they pull on costumers. On the 5th of June, I (unfortunately) placed a big order for some Marvel T-shirts for the "cheap" price of £64.93. After a couple of weeks, I received my shirts at home but, to my immense surprise, they were absolutely trash: loosy, shapeless and definitely too big even if I ordered the smallest size available, other than made of poor and scratchy material, horrible to see and really uncomfortable. I sent a message to the assistance asking for more information and they said that all their T-shirts were made like this (which is not true for personal experience) so, if I was so unsatisfied, I could have sent them back and receive my money back. I accepted that proposal and asked for the return form to put on the package. I sent the parcel from my hometown in Italy on the 6th of July spending €8.50 (that was the cheapest option for a 52x30x8 parcel weighing 800 grams as you can also see on the post office website). On the 22nd of July, I still haven't heard anything from them, so I sent them a message to know if the package had arrived to their deposit and they said that still haven't received anything. It seemed strange but I didn't mind too much thinking that maybe the postal services were later than usual. After one week, I still haven't heard from them nor I have received a return on my credit card, so I sent them another message asking why my parcel hadn't arrived yet. They answered me with the message "we only received one T-shirt". Seriously? They really think they can fool me thinking that they received one T-shirt when I sent ONE parcel with all seven of them? How can you receive one T-shirt and not the other ones if they were all together in the same parcel? Also, the price is revealing, you can't spend that amount of money for sending just one T-shirt. You really want to make people believe that just one shirt weighs 800 grams? On which planet? Definitely not on our dear Earth. This is impossible for obvious reasons. I asked to investigate on the problem in order to solve the situation but, after not hearing from them for ANOTHER week of waiting, I prompted them with more messages. At that point they just replied that they checked the deposit and they found only one shirt in the parcel. It's obvious that wasn’t true, also because they refused to send me the photo of my parcel. Probably they stole for themselves the other T-shirts because it was better to return the money (still haven’t seen them on my credit card) for just ONE of them instead of £73.43 (the total cost I paid plus the return postage). I'm absolutely shocked that they managed to pull this fraud on me, I should have known better but I thought that I was dealing with honest people so I TRUSTED them. That was my error. At this moment, I sent a report to the online authorities in order to get some closure on it and, finally, get my money back from these swindlers.
