I attempted to place a shoe order using zip and I got distracted at work and didn't complete my order so when I tried to go back and finish the order it had timed out and I had to start over so the 2nd time I finished placing my order and I received my confirmation email that the order had successfully went through and the 1st installment of 33.00 will be deducted from my checking account so when I checked my account I saw 3 transactions with one payment being reversed and credited back up my account so I called to see how did they deduct the 33.00 twice when the 1st order was never complete I only received a confirmation for 1 order being placed and the lady from zip said when you attempt to place an order even if you didn't hit submit the system automatically takes the money out and I couldn't understand how.

Company made unsubstantiated unproven claims of disputes which my banks confirmed were in fact not true and they closed my account. They charged back my account but did not refund my money back so essentially they’ve kept almost $400. How is this legal. Do not use zip. Highly corrupt. I was a paying customer for many many years and now this. Absolutely psychotic behavior from a company

Terrible Terrible, keep calling me by my middle, keep having to email them, answers are slow coming, took 5 weeks to fix, that's twice now. I use 1000 limit which is convenient, I tried upping to 2000, 3 times I have n been rejected. Won't answer my emails regarding why and feedback on this. My credit score is really high end. I tried elsewhere on my phone and was approved for 150000 overnight. I don't like their after sales or communication they are bad really really bad at answering! Would give 0 stars if possible!

I have had Zip for 3 years, and just before Christmas, my credit limit was decreased from $2000 to $1500 without my written consent, (they claimed it was a business to reduce the limit) this placing my account in a negative balance. I was offered to apply for Zip Plus, I submitted the application, and within 30 seconds my application was declined, they claimed that it was due to poor payment history, I never missed a payment and I have proof of this, I had made extra payments. But they did not reduce the repayment amount. I have been fighting with them since December 2023 to have my account fully back to the $2000 or upgrade me to the Zip Plus, but no they still say that I have poor payment history, I will provide anyone a copy of my payments. I have even supplied bank account statements, credit reports ect but still no go. I requested some statements for my account, along with these statements I received a full bank statement from another Zip customer who lives in Darwin attached to my email, how many other times has this happened? Personal, I do not trust Zip if you do use them please be careful.

Zip used to be nice to go to, but now you have rude employees, broken vacuums, broken air guns, and a hard time getting rags and spray bottles. The price went up ,and is by no means, worth it. Wouldn’t surprise me if they close down within the year.

essentially no customer service unless you count talking to a bot called Zigi that has 7 answers for literally any question. Supposed to be a zero interest purchase but suddenly monthly account fees appear and there's no explanation what the "flex" $150 amount stands for on the statements.

The bank froze my account on black Friday due to multiple purchases, they put a fraud hold on my card. During this time my zip payment came out and was declined. I received a late payment of $7.00. I contacted Zip and explained my situation, told them I just had to call the bank Monday and it would be fine. They refused to take the late payment off. I've never been late with a payment before. After I pay this off I will delete this App!

Pretty awful customer service as other people here have mentioned, along with Zip not honoring their reward program. Zip has a referral reward program where if you purchased through their app, that referral reward would partially pay your last two payments. I purchased through Zip's app expecting that referral reward to reflect in my payment plan, however tha tnever happned. I got worried so I immediately contacted their customer service about it. I was told they saw my purchase and to wait, then rudely brushed off by the rep, 'so I can help other customers'. I waited, then became worried again when my referral reward continued not being reflected in my payments. Not only that, my reward was close to expiring. I contacted customer service again and was told I never used the app for my purchase. Confused, I brought up the confirmation email, as well as their coworker confirming I did in fact use the app to purchase. I was brushed off again by being told to use the app basically a second time(while being lied to that it would be the first time) After going back and forth with more lying customer service reps, I escalated the problem to their formal complaints. Finally someone admitted they saw on their end that I used the app, only to tell me that they'd add my referral reward back(which expired at this point) and to purchase through their app again instead of just refunding me the amount I lost. It's pretty obvious they didn't want me to use my referral reward in the first place for my payment(s). Especially after they realized their mistake, let my ref reward expire and that I kept evidence of that purchase. I definitely do not trust them to actually honor a second purchase through their app, since they constantly lied about it the first time. Any other reputable business would have been honest, respectful, corrected their mistake and kept their customer in the process. So I'm in the middle of escalating this further with my Bank and other sources to get this settled.

Just like most people on here. I have been using them for almost 2 years. I have a limit of $850. I’ve spent $125 and pay early. I went to spend $50 and low and behold my account seems to be frozen. No email nor text nothing showing up on my account page. So I tried to create a virtual card. That’s when I saw the message (after having my daughter video tape my screen because it only showed the problem for 2 seconds), they are now saying I have a credit freeze and they need me to lift it. I don’t have a credit freeze, my credit is locked. It’s been locked for 5 years so I can make sure I know who’s running my credit. Caught a few trying to commit fraud. Anywho, they turned off my access because they couldn’t run my credit. They should be able to run a soft inquiry just like Afterpay has done. They want the lock removed. Naw, I’ll do something else. They serious run a hard credit check not soft credit check. Be careful out here.

Most disgusting level of customer service I have ever had. It took them 2 months to tell me they could not get my account to work, through no fault of my own. Their solution was to delete my details and have me re-apply. I said no and have taken my business elsewhere.
