Alisa & the Flo Living team, My whole life changed after reading your books, and now I am taking my healing to the next level with the cycle syncing supplements….. I lived in hell with debilitating pain from Endometriosis for over 17 years. I was told it was all in my head by multiple doctors, went through surgery, a series of birth controls and have actually crossed over to the other side from the agonizing pain. I am writing to you now with minimal to no pain in all areas just 3 short years after coming across your work. I never ever imagined I would experience this level of freedom from pain. After hearing a guest on Melissa Ambrosini's podcast mention your name and your work, I bought & read Womancode, then In the Flo. I applied the methodology, and I healed myself. I just started taking the cycle syncing supplements a couple months ago for an added boost in each phase after doing the 'heavy lifting' changes to my diet and lifestyle, applying the information in your books. I'm reaching new levels of healing and loving the new supplements. There were other deep internal practices I also incorporated like shadow work and pelvic floor physical therapy. But that first experience reading Womancode opened the door to bringing me….back to me. It was a huge inspiration for me to face all of my shit and to find the person I really needed to get through it---myself. The more I looked at your work, the more I felt validated and understood for the first time. I started to get my life back after reading your books and I am forever grateful to you for helping me to achieve what I thought was impossible. As an artist, I was so empowered and inspired by this experience that in April 2021 I felt compelled to create an ongoing art series about it. I create a piece of art from start to completion not every day, but every phase that will continue for the next 13 years. I named the series 'Every Phase' with the accompanying art of each phase metaphorically illustrating the different brain and body chemistry of what's occurring during that particular phase. My first book (launching this Fall) will capture the first year and I have very appropriately titled it, Face your Shit, Heal yourself. I also plan to feature your work and website as a resource in my new book and in my continued work so that other women may find relief and healing...just like I did. In addition to the book, I have launched a Face Your Shit, Heal Yourself Podcast to help other women dealing with 'chronic' pain and hormonal imbalances by introducing some of the experts and practices that helped me achieve what I thought was impossible.
