Terrible customer service. Ignore emails. No telephone contact. Have to wait a year for a refund. I appreciate that we are in the middle of a pandemic but they should at least be communicating. I will never use again and would not recommend.

not willing to assist customers after taking money. I realise Covid is not a problem ever anticipated but leaving your customers to deal with the mess is unacceptable

They are an awful company, my daughter and her friends booked a package holiday with them for July unfortunately we had to cancel because there leaving cert was falling on the dates they were to head off, that was in March and they kept taken money out of my Daughter's account, they wouldn't reply to our emails, messager and chat we also found out that the hotel isn't opening at all this year, Alpharooms never told us we had to ring the hotel in Mallorca ourselves, we also had to cancel the flights because they were changed to another date, Aer Lingus refunded the money back into Alpharooms account and we still haven't received any money back, they are now saying we have breached our contact as we missed payments, we have all the bank statements, with all the payments paid to Alpharooms, they are trying to get out of paying my daughter and her friends there money back, they should be ashamed as the way they are treating there customers, I will never use them again.

Had holiday booked to Malta in June. Obviously cancelled Cannot get through on telephone or live chat and only reply to emails is that I can book another holiday. As I am 70 I want a refund as I have no intention of travelling abroad.

Booked a holiday to Spain for my son and his partner to travel in early May, obviously this was cancelled by Alpharooms because of Covid 19. Since then i have tried numerous times to contact them mainly via email as they are not taking calls to get a refund but they will not give refunds only credit notes and you can only apply for a refund in 1 years time. I have told them numerous times i do not want a credit note i want a refund but they will not give one even though the law says they have to within 14 days. I have now given up on ever getting my £1000 back and obviously taken the hit as i do not expect my son to pay me the money. I hope this company goes bust so they never take money off anyone else in the future, but if they don't go bust i would never use them again and advise anyone else who reads this not to use them either, even if it is cheaper than other companies. Anyone who finds themselves in the same situation good luck getting your money back.

Terrible company no customer service falling to refund and already agreed credit note ... cant call and they wont respond to countless email dont use this company as you will be dissapointed

Never book with this company Tried to cancel my holiday for the last six weeks via there website and email can’t via phone as supposedly customer service having new phone system installed. I have had no response until today where I was advised to be patient. Complete joke my policy states I can cancel up to 4 Oct with full refund minus cancellation fee but won’t cancel it. I am not cancelling due to any corona virus situation. I have contacted Trade and Standards BBC Watchdog and the TTA.and will spend time leaving reviews. Be warned do not deal with this company

My mum and I were due to stay in France next week at Hotel Avenir in Montmartre for my 40th birthday which was taken out last September through Alpharooms our reference number is 842679481299. The hotel's closed currently and won't reopen till the 20th August which we found out ourselves emailing them and not through Alpharooms who think we're still going then. I've contacted them 3 times requesting cancellation and refund then tried phoning them yesterday but no calls are being accepted. I even tried getting them through live web chat on their website but couldn't find that on their page. My mum and I are not going next Thursday obviously but we want Alpharooms to know that also so we don't lose our money of course but without confirmation, we're not sure then which they should be reading emails and contacting customers about plus take phone calls so people can voice their concerns. Our last two holidays to Gibraltar which were with Alpharooms went smoothly obviously with no pandemic then which I understand is uncertain for everyone but when it's not people's faults their holidays aren't going ahead due to accommodation closures customers need to know this so like from what I've read on here already consumers aren't left stranded outside hotels with younger children then. If Eurostar can get in touch with people offering customers vouchers to change dates if things have changed or they feel unsure travelling which they did us two weeks ago then travel companies like Alpharooms should communicate also not leaving people unsure what's happening and respond to cancellation requests and have telephone lines open too if people aren't going.

Disgusting company.I have booked with this company before. Never again.They still got my £532 deposit offered me a refund in June 2021 disgrace should be under investigation for fraud

My booking was cancelled due to coved 19 . No fault of Alpharooms,I then accepted a credit refund and I rebooked my holiday holiday on April 21st for a new booking on 02 October. I was informed that payment on my new booking from my old booking was successfully updated. My account still hasn’t been updated. My emails have not been responded to. A disgrace to treat an old customer like you have. Shame on you.

DO NOT BOOK WITH ALPHAROOMS - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Look with the outbreak with Covid 19 it has been difficult for most companies, but especially the travel/aviation Industry. But what makes the difference in these times are the companies who step up to the mark and are seen to be doing the right thing and actually engage with the client. Alpharooms are shielding behind email and "chat" with YTS students who are constantly refering to managers on what to say and I have spent 2 x 1 hour "chats" getting nowhere and being offered no support! The chats are now only coming up when you are in the payment section of a new holiday and then disappearing when the screen needs to be refreshed! They deliberately wait 5-10 minutes between each chat! Had to pay the full balance of my holiday even though my flight had been cancelled - "we can't do anything until 14 days before your holiday!!"was the commonest remark! That's too late!! Emails take days for a reply! NO TELEPHONE support what so ever so no open communication channels! The saga is ongoing but I really do not believe it will be resolved, needless to say I WILL NOT BE BOOKING WITH ALPHAROOMS AGAIN even if they are £100 cheaper than other sites - the saying goes "you get what you paid for" well NOTHING is the answer!! DO NOT BOOK WITH ALPHAROOMS!!

They refuse to refund anyone even though their holiday is cancelled. They then send a credit note and inflate prices to try and get more of your hard earned cash. Avoid at all costs.

Despite being regular customers i will not be using Alpha Rooms again. We couldn't travel toTurkey on 23rd April - we were sent a refund credit note on 20th May. Since then i have e mailed them on numerous occasions to advise that i do not want a voucher and require them to refund me in full as per my legal rights. Thus far they have failed to even do me the courtesy of a reply Shocking customer service !

Due to travel in 6 days, return flights cancelled and accommodation closed. No reply to emails from Alpharooms and online chat says they are waiting on DFA travel advice and trip could still go ahead, how?? Lots of dissatisfied customers on Facebook, who cant get refunds. Worst company ever.

Disgraceful company, used for 15 years No More Had a holiday booked for the middle of May, obviously couldn’t go due to covid 19, have e-mailed them several times with pathetic replies eventually coming through, won’t give a refund and won’t even give a voucher now, going to have to take it further, when we pay early they obviously use our money to pay there suppliers for other customers hence no cash flow and running there business with our money, worrying ethic that. This firm took a booking from me for March 2020 with payment upfront. They cancelled the booking due to coronavirus (fair enough) and then called in early April to offer me a credit which I didn’t want. After a lot of persuasion, they offered me a refund but only for 90% of my money. I thought this was bad practice but decided to agree in order to get the majority of my money back. I then hear nothing for 5/6 weeks with no money being returned to my card even though my account showed it had been refunded on their website. I called then on 7 May to ask where my refund is and am told that this has been rescinded and I will now to have wait until after 30 April 2021 to even request a refund. How can this even be legal never mind moral?! If I booked a holiday with them, they wouldn’t expect it to be 12 months before I paid them so why is it the other way around? They won’t have paid for the hotel room themselves (this is standard practice in this industry) so holding onto customers money is simply fraud. I would strongly avoid at all costs.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.... We had a hotel booked with alpha rooms... For limak lara in lara Turkey.We booked in December 2019. Was due to leave 8th April for 14 nights Returning 22nd April. This hotel booking was fully protected through the TTA. I paid on my credit card and we was due to pay the last instalment of £771.19 on 25th march. 2020.now we recieved an email on the 17th march 2020. With alpha rooms cancelling our booking. Which we expected.Fair enough. Due to covid19 23rd march 2020 I was promised a full refund 25th march (they still tried to take out the last payment of £771.19 even though they cancelled the booking 8 days before) then on the 20th April after numerous emails after emails to them. They tell me I have to accept a voucher.Or wait a year for a refund.Even though I was promised on the 23rd March a full refund I don't want a voucher as if they go bust its not protected through the tta.. Secondly I believe they tried to take the final payment of £771.19...even though it had been cancelled 8 days before by themselves. Because I believe they wanted an extra £771.19 of my hard earned money to palm me off with a voucher. Very very sneaky company that can not be trusted. I used to use this company all time for my holiday bookings ... BUT I would NEVER EVER use them again... And warn others NOT to book with them. I have now sent all my complaints of there sneaky practices to all the relevant complaints authorities to investigate this dodgy company....next step.... Court... I won't stop!!! just out of principal now. I will take them to court to get my money back.... Will they earn the trust of customers back? Never..... Oh and I contacted hotel... The booking was cancelled free of charge.... Yet alpharooms wanted to charge 10% cancellation fee... Even though it was alpharooms that cancelled my booking.. Not me!!! DISGUSTING COMPANY
