“Booked my course back in March. The instructor they found in May was teaching me things not on the test anymore. So I found my own instructor. I then asked myintensive to book me a test. Further 3 months waiting I phoned the DVSA myself and moved a test they’d booked me on the other side of the country to my preferred test centre.
They also forgot or failed to note my preferred test centre. Email communications were slow.
AVOID this company, do it yourself and use the normal means to pass. This has probably taken longer and cost me more money.”

“My course was supposed to start on the 5th of September the instructor was made aware he was the one responsible for my lessons 10 prior the start date. As he had previous arrangements already with his other pupils and tests booked for the week he was supposed to be teaching me. When I contact the customer service team and explained the situations Mark was not only rude and not helpful at all as he said they have not been made aware of the situation by the instructor so there was nothing they could do. The instructor called me on 30/08 advising he sent them an email explained the above issue; I heard nothing from the company. On the 5th I sent an email asking when would be my new date to start and who was my new instructor and their replay was "So do you mean the course has not started at all?". After all this when I ask if we could cancel the course and get a refund not only they will not give me back my £200+ pounds for a theory test, they also tried to charge me the rest of the money for a service they failed to provide. They are not only rude to the customer, unhelpful, badly organized they will also rip you off.”

They've opened up bookings when they don't know whether they can actually provide you with the course as advertised, and like seems to be the case with a lot of these reviews, the company's director is point blank refusing to give me a refund. He literally hung up on me when I called to request it. When I left a review on Twitter he deleted it, and when I left a review on TrustPilot he just insulted me. This is a semi-legitimate company. The owner is a conman and a thief.”

I booked a one week driving course the 1st day my instructor was late he insisted i paid all the money up front he was so rude, we could barely communicate he sat and ate food next to me the whole time i was driving and he didnt turn up at all after that one day! I had paid all my money. This was the 1st time i had ever drove and it has put me off for life to say the least. I contacted the company they said they would refund me then i recieved another email stating they were going to re book my course with someone else i simply said no i still want my refund they then send another email saying that i have a different course booked with someone else and nothing was said about my refund. I called the man who was due to do my course with me to explain it and he said its not the 1st time hes heard of this and i should push to get my money back but i never did. I had just turned 17 and had worked for months to save up for this course its really upsetting something so easy has been so difficult for me. So sad i never even got a reply or my money back 5 years later and im still worried to have any more lesson. THEY HAVE NOT MENTIONED A REFUND SINCE! I GOT NO MONEY BACK AND SPENT OVER £500 AT 17 YEARS OF AGE THIS COMPANY IS DISGUSTING!!!!!!”

“I wish we'd checked the reviews for this place before we booked though them! They referred us to a driving instructor who was extremely unprofessional! Out of the 10 initial lessons we had booked in with him, he cancelled 7 of them (most of them on the day of the lesson) with a varying array of terrible excuses! And when he did turn up, he was late on two of the three occasions. Didn't even teach my daughter the basics of how to negotiate a roundabout correctly. And pushed the test back twice due to his lack of actually turning up for the lessons. When we complained to oneweekdrivingcourse, they point blank refused to refund our deposit! A sum of money we paid for a service that was not acceptable. Although the instructor did eventually arrange a refund of the £800 for the lessons we'd paid for (thankfully!) Please save yourself some money and AVOID!!”

Although they rarely answer the phone and always emailed back with 'from customer service' so you never felt like you were speaking to one person who understood your situation. However, I had one lesson with my most recent instructor, who I thought I could trust because he was affiliated with the company and he told me if I paid him a lump sum he would charge me less for the lessons. I paid him £400 and I never heard from him since, the company have washed their hands of the issue stating that my problem is with him. They told me that many other learners have had similar issues with him and long story short I'm taking him to small claims court which could take years. The company gave me a partial refund but would not give me the full amount due to the length of time between when I purchased the course and eventually was able to take my test. Absolutely shocking, they obviously don't screen the people they employ. This also isn't value for money! They just want to take your money and fob you off to an instructor they aren't even in regular contact with.”

“As per below avoid this company and its new name as they are nothing but a con, we had to wait 3 weeks for a date when promised on the phone we could have the following week and when we got our date the instructor was only available by text to start with and when he finally sorted out the dates he turned up on the correct day but an early and said he had changed all the times and date.So we did get a test date 2 weeks after our latt day and guess what he said our son wasn't ready and wanted us to book more lessons for this. This is not a company anyone should use as they take your money and give you lies and instructors who just wont more money so as per all other reviews use a local instructor.”
“My daughter has had an awful experience with this company. We didn’t know when we booked it that it’s a 2 man operation whereby they post the job on their website and independent drivers make bids to win the job. You then have to pay the driving instructor direct in advance. If your driver is unreliable as was ours and you want to change drivers you can’t. This happened to us and we complained to the company direct and asked for the rest of my daughters hours be given to another instructor. Their response was that’s to do with you and your driver, you can ask him if you want but it’s not our responsibility we are an agent. We have had to have many arguments trying to get our money back. We just wanted the hours owing to us surely this is not too much to ask but apparently it is!
Latch, the driving instructor also told Her she wasn’t quite ready for the test at the end of the week and so she decided to do it at a later date but what wasn’t said to her is that she will lose the money for the test as well. This company and the drivers are all about taking your cash but without the service. My advice would be to find your own instructor through recommendation and pay as you go so then if you are given a driver as useless as ours was then you can just change without the stress that we have had it will also cost a lot less. My daughter is only 17 and has been in tears over this situation which isn’t right is it?”

Tried to make a claim against him but the address and postcode does not match. Police will be informed next has its a joke! Would not recommend at all especially if you get put with nick. Why they habent got rid of him yet is mad.”
