“Absolutely horrible experience. Purchased tickets at 8am - accepted and all is fine. at 4pm they respond that tickets are not available by seller. Why did it take 8 hours???? Event time is 7:30.
no phone number to call, only chat access was 'virtual' which would only say trust our guarantee that we will refund your cost. Well, i hope so, you didn't provide the service!
Reordered 2 more tickets in different seating - what choice did we really have? Same problem again - no response, and no ticket for 2.5 hours.
This really should not be an operating business. ZERO customer service
ZERO reliability. I won't make this mistake again. My first and last purchase from Stub Hub. Infuriating the day of the event when you've spend money to travel and for accomodations, etc.”
“Sold tickets to a Taylor Swift show. I transferred tickets to the buyer months in advance but the show got canceled last min. StubHub did nothing to help get my tickets or a refund for the tickets back from the buyer. I lost $1300 and StubHub gave buyer a full refund. DO NOT SELL WITH STUBHUB!”
“Scam Do not purchase tickets from this website no refund available I have family emergency and no empathy from the this money sucking company brother is having heart surgery we cannot attend concert no refund”
“I was a seller on StubHub. Sold my season seats many times. I sold my seats for a show. The buyer first claimed they never received the tickets. Proved they did. Then claimed there was someone in the seats. When that didnt work claimed they were refused entry. All lies but StubHub never paid me for my tickets after they said they would.
DO NOT POST YOUR TICKETS ON STUBHUB.”
“I had a problem with purchasing tickets from StubHub. I purchased five and sold one. I never got paid for the one I sold. I spent hours on the phone with customer service trying to figure out the problem and get reimbursed. I just gave up. I suggest purchasing tickets from other sources. Never again!”
“NEVER TRUST STUBHUB!!!! Purchased 3 tickets off stubhub for Dallas Mavs. They charged me $100 in fees for 3 $67 tickets. Called 5 times bc 3rd ticket couldn’t be found!!! NEVER RECEIVED 3rd TICKET!!! Terrible customer service! Lost $300!!! NEVER EVER TRUST STUBHUB!!!!”
“I bought tickets to the Miami Pop Tart game in Orlando Florida and I could not get my tickets because Stubhub is a 3rd party- sort of like scouting tickets-so you purchase the tickets through them but a different company is issuing the tickets. So if you have problems-everyone can blame each other and nothing is resolved. I never received my tickets from Stubhub or Ticketmaster. I wish I had purchased them through Ticketmaster! Also, Stubhub set me up by soliciting parking which I found out was five miles away from the event. I paid $22.00 and it even stated ADA for my disabled friend . So we would have needed to Uber to the game. They did not resolve or refund my money for my two tickets that I paid $198.00. Di not buy from them!”
“Scam. Took my money 2 NFL TICKETS and parking pass. Never got what I purchased. Said tickets would be delivered the day before the game. I drove 8 hrs to get there and be let down.”
“Paid 6300 for eras tickets, said were not available, select new tickets, will get a refund. So bought new ticket then they sent the original ones and said it was a mistake. Too bad, 11,000 in tickets when just needed 2. Customer service lies to you. What a scam.”
“Bought tickets and never received them. I entered my email and left one letter out and went to fix it and send it again. Never got the tickets called StubHub and they won't refund. We'll never use them again.!!!”
“I paid for two tickets that the app would not pull up with an error message. I had bought two other tickets for my kids that worked fine. But my wife and I missed the show. Customer service refused to refund.”
“Terrible experience. The tickets were $96 each and stub-hubs “service fee” was $45 per ticket. It said “2 seats together” and then I find out there are no seats that we need to stand for 2 hours. I called and the supervisor said that since it said general admission and no row listed that I should have known. It didn’t say no row. Be careful,”
“Purchased tickets in September for a match in Porto in December. Promises to send tickets to the hotel (no digital release). This did NOT happen. Then notifications came with changes to the way we would get the tickets, including a ‘refund’ for service fees and other BS. Tickets were sent the day of the event. It turned out we could have bought tickets at the venue for 40€ each instead of the 100€ each we paid. WTF. Stressful experience. Do not recommend.”
“Purchased tickets with StubHub the day of an event (impulsively). Then decided not to attend based on reviews of the seats location and bad view. So I relisted them for sale (at a loss) and received an email shortly after confirming they were sold and the tickets would be directly transferred to the new buyer. About 10 minutes after the event started I received and email that the tickets were not available and were being replaced. I thought it was strange that it was sent to me and not the new buyers but thought it was nice that they upgraded the new buyers seats and kind of wished I would have kept them and went at this point.
Two days after the event took place StubHub requested confirmation that the tickets I sold where transferred to the buyer (keep in mind the prior email stated StubHub would transfer the tickets to the new buyer on my behalf).
I never received tickets only emails (the original purchase email, a second email confirming the tickets sold, and a third email announcing upgraded seats).
Ultimately, it appears the original tickets never existed, which then voided the resale of the tickets. The original tickets then were upgraded after the event began per an email (no tickets actually arrived) and StubHub refuses to give me the proceeds of the tickets resold or simply refund the original tickets.
I will never do business with this company again. They stole my money and probably the new buyer's money too and never provided either party tickets for the event.”
“Absolutely terrible experience. I will NEVER purchase through StubHub again. I purchased tickets for the State marching band contest in Texas in October. When I got to the event, I tried pulling up the tickets and I kept getting an error message saying “oops, something went wrong.” Even the ticket person was trying to help me figure out how to pull up the tickets. We had 20 minutes until the one single band that we came to watch perform so I did not have time to keep trying to work it out as we had already spent nearly 30 minutes at the ticket booth holding up a line trying to get the tickets to pull up. I ended up having to buy two more tickets at the gate because I couldn’t access my tickets through stub hub/ticketmaster. I called to request a refund because I didn’t use the tickets and the lady said sorry you should have called and we could’ve helped you work it out. I explained that I did not have time and that we almost missed the single performance that we came to see Five hours away. She did not care and was not helpful. So I then went and disputed it with my bank, and now I just got a message from my bank saying that StubHub verified that the transaction was valid so they are rescinding my credit for the tickets. I even showed my bank where I bought two tickets on the day of the event because I couldn’t access the others. So frustrating. Not to mention they charged me twice and even the original charge was nearly 50% more than what I paid at the gate. Lesson learned.”
“I purchased a ticket for the hip-hop nutcracker. I never received my E tickets. I got something that did not state my seat number. I go to the Fox theater and they’re unable to locate my ticket based on the email I received from this company. I was told I had to purchase a new ticket I wasn’t the only one I never used my ticket for an event that was a special treat Orchestra seats for me for my birthday. They will not refund my money. Do not use StubHub to purchase your tickets go directly to the box office. Don’t use this company. It shouldn’t be that hard to find your ticket if you purchased it.”
“Horrible policies. Usher rescheduled his event due to weather which was crazy because weather was fine. Catch is i live 1000 miles away and couldn’t afford to go back to Miami 5 days before Xmas and I’m a single mom. I paid $362 for 2 tickets only got $216 from a resale. My ticket was bought a few days before the concert after i lowered the price! This is not fair WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN”
