I’m contacting trading standards and the ombudsman for advice. Under UK Consumer Rights this company is in breach of them. They originally give you 7 days to accept or decline their offer. When you decline which requires contacting them directly (although it’s nearly impossible to find their contact details), they come back with a higher figure. When you decline this offer, they give you 5 days to accept. If you don’t accept and cannot get hold of them despite several attempts to say I don’t accept and please return my property; they simply will keep your phone under the assumption they’ve not heard from you - hummmm! Wow! This is wrong! Think about GDPR - the website clearly states you need to tick the box to receive communication. If you do not tick the box then you don’t receive communication - simply it puts the customer in control. This company’s website is purposefully the opposite - no action means acceptance and let’s not forgot we are already talking about something that is yours in the first place! It is not right and it needs urgent attention! They are not providing adequate means of communication and by doing this are actively disregarding the customer and the customers property for their own gain. This is not putting the customer in control of the outcome and this simple wrong. There communication is unacceptable! I am unsure how they are still operating as a business. This is a company trading standards must review -I have already logged in with them. You should not have such problems having your own property returned to you! It is disgusting! You should not be pressurised or scammed into accepting lower offers because of poor communication and poorly worded websites and policies. You should have your consumer rights protected. This company does not respect your customer rights and offers a very poor customer service.

I would like to warn people about this company. Not only did their offer significantly reduce upon receipt of my phone, I asked for the phone to be returned and got a much better offer elsewhere. What’s more alarming is that they signed me up to a McAfee trial, something I did unknowingly when registering and for which I have been paying £4.95 for the last four months. I’ve cancelled this direct debit with my bank now but please be weary about this company.

SCAMMERS - AVOID THIS COMPANY Reduced offer from £191 to £30 and then charged me £10 to send the phone back to me. Unfortunately I cannot leave zero stars on here. Bunch of crooks. Avoid at all costs.

Awful company. Perfect phone, already quoted £119 by high street company but we buy any phone said they’d give me £141 so sent to them. Then came back to say only worth £10. Avoid!

Scam company. I got a trade in value in Apple Store for a much higher valuation. Since this company offered £320 I decided to sell phone. When they received it they offered £100 with issues that glue is come off and bezel not working.. phone is in great condition. Asked to return the phone and they asked me to pay for returns. They get something off you either way. Never had this with any other company. Avoid at all costs.

Absolute scammers. Sent a ludicrous offer for my phone, then have the gall to want to charge me £10.75 to get my phone returned. A V O I D EDIT The only reason you are asking for info is hoping people won't supply it so the review gets taken down UPDATE - I GOT £90 MORE FROM ENVIRONPHONE. Your company should be ashamed of itself. Your are crooks. I will strive to make sure nobody uses your scam of a company again Shameful

Sent in a brand new iPhone 14 Pro Max from my insurance still in the box and completely untouched. They offered £560 for the phone and then when they received it they said it needed ‘urgent action’ and said there were visible scratches on the screen and outer casing which there wasn’t. I even have before photos. They reduced my offer to £460 which I accepted because I couldn’t be bothered with having the phone returned to me with scratches that weren't on it originally. SCAMMERS AVOID AT ALL COSts

Quoted me £198 and then tried to drop this to £105 when my phone has zero damage to the naked eye. They then said £135 when I asked them to return my phone. I said no return the phone. They should ask you to send photos etc before wasting your time sending it off to them so they can knock you down on price and hope that you can't be bothered to have it returned. Do not use.

I sent an as-new iPhone 14 Pro, still with the original screen protector and boxed so the brand new cable— not a mark, scuff or single issue with the phone— it had been used for one month before work issued me a work phone. The phone has been kept in the case and even had the original seal. I posted the phone, paid for upgraded insurance of £750 and next day delivery with three lots of double wrap. I was just informed there are slight marks on the screen, which there absolutely isn’t and a revised price of less than £100 than they offered. The phone was brand new and in perfect condition. I have now had a chance to review the reviews on here and other websites and it’s clear that they’re intentionally providing a higher price and on receipt of the phone offering a lower price knowing it’s not worth the hassle of returning the device. The code provided by them showed no makes at all. This service is a scam, and I am going to write a letter to the trading standards body this weekend as I feel there is anther evidence with this website and other reviews that they’re reading in bad faith.

Sent away my S22 Ultra in excellent condition for nearly £400 they quoted. Waited a few days and ‘urgent action’ was required. I phoned them and they basically said I had lied about the condition because there was marks on the screen. I asked if they had removed the screen protector- they said no. Apparently unless I accepted their reduced offer, they aren’t allowed to remove screen protectors. They offered me over £300 less than originally. They offered me £70 for a phone in excellent condition!! And to add to insult I had to pay £10 for them to send my phone back to me. 1000% avoid.

I used the guidance to rate my phone as "good" and got a quote of £139 so I sent it off. The response I got was a video of NOT MY PHONE, a judgement of "damaged" and a revised quote of £10. My phone is a Samsung and the video was of an Apple phone so I immediately emailed them and they said they'd pause the transaction and get me a quote with my actual phone. After 30 days I hadn't heard anything so I emailed them and they replied with a video of my phone showing there are some scratches on the screen (I hadn't noticed them) but they said the original judgement of "damaged" was still justified. I looked up the terms and conditions and having some imperceptible scratches on the screen could demote it to "pretty good" but not damaged. My phone isn't broken it works fine, I just got an upgrade. I queried how they came to this conclusion and they said the original assessment stood because it was in such bad condition - I honestly don't know what phone they were looking at for that assessment but it can't have been my phone. I accepted that it might not be worth the full £139 but I pointed out the original assessment had been done on the wrong phone and asked them to reassess it or send it back to me. They said no to reassessing it and asked me to pay to get it sent back. They quoted the terms and conditions about a fee to return the phone if the quote isn't accepted. So I quoted the part of the terms and conditions where they say they are liable for negligence which is exactly what they've been. They have sent it back to me without a fee. My phone has arrived back way more scratched than it was when I sent it off and I do not recommend anyone using this company at all. I would always take anyone saying their phone was in good condition with a grain of salt, because of course people would want as much as they can get right? In this instance they took a phone that worked fine and matched all the criteria of "pretty good" and tried to get me to accept it was "damaged" and in the process they lost my phone for a month and have returned it in a worse condition than it was sent. Absolutely not worth the time.

Was offered £151 for my iPhone 12 mini which was in excellent condition’ however after they checked it and sent some video of a badly scratched phone offering me £80 which I refused and asked for the phone to be returned. The company are absolute scammers who have no intention of paying the price quoted’ would recommend to anyone do not send these absolute scammers your phone as the obviously send videos of some old phone and try to fob you off with a lower price. Absolutely shocking they can get away with this.

Offered £295 for iPhone 12 Pro in good condition, sent the phone in and received a revised quote for £195 due to wear on the rear glass and screen also wear to bezel (rear glass was replaced by apple two months ago) I would stay away from them as they are just scamming people , hoping they accept the low ball amount offered because they dont want to mess around getting their phone back for £10!

Complete Scammers. Sent off a brand new phone and having offered me £150, they told me it was worth £20... They then said they were sending it back for a £10 charge! Absolute joke, and the fact they sign you up to a direct debit is ridiculous. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This company should be taken down given how many people they have clearly scammed!
