“Having ordered a lawnmower from Aldi, I was extremely concerned when I read the reviews for XPD. I’d not of heard of them before but had serious doubts about my delivery. However, I received an email to say my parcel had been collected and was then in a depot. Three days later received an email saying it was out for delivery, with a 2 hr delivery slot. My parcel arrived on the right day, at the right time. I hadn’t tried to phone or email the firm so can’t comment on any lack of response. The delivery driver was very pleasant and put the parcel in my garage for me. This is my only experience of XDP but it was a very positive one.”
“Shocking had two days off waiting for a delivery said it would b am delivery still not received rang and said delivery would be between 3 and five that afternoon now the next day and still waiting cannot get through to anyone today. Shocking service !!! The range needs to stop using these”
“A very poor service which didnt deliver on the scheduled day. It was also very difficult to actually contact this company when I was attempting to find out where my parcel was. No phone number or email on website. Tried to Live Chat but was basically told to call the depot and chat ended abruptly. No answer ever at the depot and driver was rude when he eventually turned up with my parcel two days later.
Really would not recommend and will consider whether to buy from the same seller again if this is the courier they use.”

Order bike from Sports Direct with fast delivery 1-3 days as needed urgently for training for forthcoming international races. Received SMS text and email would be delivered 17/4, 3-5pm, waited in all day and no delivery - although they claim they attempted delivery. Same again the next day and yet again the same today - although I have been sitting in the front garden in the sun by my front door all day !!! They are blatant liars, I also have witnesses that no delivery attempts were made on any of the days as we are having work done so someone was in the front all day every day! We are the only property at this postcode so no error can be made and you would clearly see a van pulling up.
Have emailed twice - no replies!
I will be taking this matter further as they should not be allowed to operate like this and reading some of the other reviews this is their common practice and much worse, I urge others to do the same to stop them operating in such a manner.”
“Absolutely horrendous!! I will never order from Aldi again while they are using this company!
3 times over the past week I have waited in for my rattan corner sofa to be told on two occasions that it wasn’t even put in the lorry cause it was too big. I was then promised on the 3rd day that it would definitely come. We waited in all day for it to once again not turn up! And can’t contact anyone as it’s the weekend and no one is there.
Angry doesn’t even come close to how I’m feeling right now. The depot isn’t even that far away from where I live.
Unfortunately you can’t give 0 stars on here, it doesn’t deserve the 1 star I had to give to write my review.”
“Waste of time, worst company. I ordered a bbq on 3rd April it was meant to be hear on the 16th, when checking tracking its in their depot. I have emailed 4 or 5 times with no reply, I have tried to ring but number doesn't exist. This is by far the worst company I have dealt with and I now have the view they are complete amateurs”

We ordered garden furniture 1st April. To comply with the 3 to10 working day delivery. It should have arrived by last Wednesday 17th April. Wednesday 10th April we received a 21 minute notice from XDP that a delivery was to be made. By that time we had been out of the house for 2 hours. But. The delivery must have been for the cover we ordered and not for the furniture, because the delivery had come from Nottingham in a tiny van. XDP only have one man delivery services from that depot. XDP say Aldi have put all the garden furniture down to Economy Delivery (1 man) but it takes 2 men to deliver the furniture. XDP say that all the furniture has been loaded onto a lorry and sent to Birmingham. We live in Nottingham, so our furniture was going further away.
Karen at XDP promised the furniture would arrive, yesterday, without fail, between 2.35pm and 4.35pm. XDP were employing more staff to cover Good Friday, because of Aldi's error. So we stopped in all day. We have stopped in for 8 days now. Needles to say the furniture didn't arrive. We don't know where it is, or if we will ever receive it.
Neither XDP or Aldi telephoned us to let us know.
Despite telephoning and emailing both Aldi and XDP almost every day we still have not received the furniture. Aldi don't care, they have our £199.99 plus the price of the cover (we have no use for a furniture cover, we do not have the furniture.) XDP don't care, they just lie.
The moto of this story is. Never buy from Aldi again and never use, or buy from any company who use XDP”
“Still waiting for delivery after 2 promised delivery dates and times. My item has been sat less than 10 miles from my home address. Originally should have arrived on the 16th but had 'exception' fail, emailed and was told it was out for delivery on the 18th (around 4pm after waiting ALL day) only to then find out on the 18th it had in fact been taken off that day's delivery but advised someone was working Good Friday and we were delivery number 20 so should be with me around 2pm. Tracking stated 1-3pm and guess what still no delivery!!!! I was told my 'express' delivery had to give way to overnight freight, my issue is that everyday there will be new 'over night freight' so will my delivery ever happen if other deliveries take priority??? Asked if i could collect my item and was given a phone number which when phoned told me i cant leave a message and to email instead! What an absolute joke.Im so annoyed now that as soon as Aldi are open im going to cancel my order but only after letting XDP attempt delivery, then they can have the expense of returning it! See how they like being messed around!!!!! They claim they are 'built a reputation for reliability and quality of service' quoted direct from their website. What an absolute JOKE”

It does not concern me what problems they may have , all I know is the person at the top needs to get things sorted out or they will be out of work . This area of parcel/light goods is extremely competitive and other couriers have been excellent . Promises made about our delivery not delivered , fabrication on the part of drivers or the transport department covering up for incompetence . Can not recommend them at all .”
“Delivered to the wrong address at a totally different time than XDP had stated. Then to add insult to injury no response to email and no answer when phoned. So cannot get the incorrect delivery rectified. XDP total waste of space”
“Terrible service! delivered a day early without any notice. should have been a 2 man load for solid oak extending dining table. 1 man rolled the box down the driveway resulting in the undercarriage of the table being smashed. The same driver came to collect the item to be returned. I said to him that he should not be transporting a heavy load on his own without any help. His reply was "i'm classed as self employed and I can do what I want". I explained that this was the reason he was collecting the table because of the damaged he caused. He just shrugged his shoulders and wasn't interested!”
“Well, seems like the sellers using XDP need to use another courier.
Expected parcel by 10th, especially as on the 8th I had received a text saying that the parcel had been picked up from the seller. No consignment number on the text (or from the ebay seller).
Web chat button does not work (the ITdept said it was because there were no agents).
As my phone bundle does not include 084 numbers, I refuse to pay while a company makes money keeping me on hold - if they are a good company they would use an 03 number.
Can't find an email and their web chat does not work so can't contact the company
And no, the parcel has still not arrived

As the response from XPD is likelt to be contact the seller (even through XPD are the delivery company), the seller has advised they have had poor experience and will not be using XPD.
It will be interesting if the XPD response to this comment explains why they don't have a free customer service number- pity all those who have actually made a call and been left waiting.”
“Had text to say out for delivery and item would be here between 8:30 and 10:30 still no show at 17:30 tried to call but says office closed even though it states opening times are until 6 annoyed would be an understatement after waiting in all day and getting people over while at a meeting 😡”
“DO NOT USE As a company we have used XDP for some time now and have always been pleased with our local depot and drivers. We have had the odd problem but nothing out of the ordinary, UNTIL 2 MONTHS AGO. They do not collect, the local depot doesn't ever answer the phone or emails, (this is not exaggerated, the local depot has not answer their phone or replied to emails in over 2 months), our Emerald team who are supposed to look after us have lied, fobbed us off, promised call backs, promised calls from our area manager, none of it has happened. We have had deliveries marked as delivered when they weren't then it's taken over a week to get them redelivered, damages they have refused to reimburse for, delays, failed collections and whats even worse they charge you for the non collection when they didn't turn up. Collections have not been scanned incorrectly, so they register in the following week. You get two weeks of surcharges for not meeting the minimum weekly invoice total, when they were actually collected in one week. No one at XDP helps, returns calls and the accounts department won't reimburse us for incorrect charges. They are impossible to deal with and we have now taken our business else where. We highly recommend you do not use them. As a result we have had bad reviews and angry customers who we can't help because no one ever comes back to us”
