“Ordered a bed from UK Bedstore. stipulated delivery for 2 weeks time, as we are moving to the delivery address in 2 weeks. Lead time was 1-4 weeks so wouldn't be an issue. Get a confirmation that the Courier will contact us to arrange a mutually convenient delivery date. GREAT! we think, all will good for just after move in date.
This morning i get a notification from XDP that the be dis being delivered today. I try to call XDP as soon as i see that to be on hold for a number who probably wont help me. I have been charged £15 for this pleasure of being on hold!
I contact UK Bedstore who advise me that they have instructed XDP to return the item to the Depot as the Delivery instructions on the order have not been followed. UK Bedstore confirm delivery will take place on 25th as per original instruction and will be held at the Depot.
I just check the app by chance to see if delivery has been cancelled. No. It has been delivered. Onto the driveway of my sellers house. It states- Signature required, do not leave in safe place. Signature line- IPO. I'm guessing this stands for IN PLACE OF. And the current owners are at work so no one signed for it, it has been dumped on a driveway.
I am now in the process of emailing as many Depts of XDP as possible.
1- Delivery rearrangement requested at 9am this morning not followed,
2- Delivery instructions not followed,
Completely unacceptable. I am very unhappy. My partner tried to email XDP this morning also but they have not bothered to respond.
Here I am, £15 out of pocket through failed phone calls, with a bed that shouldn't have been delivered sitting on the driveway of a house I didn't want it delivered to yet.”
“I dont often write reviews but feel compelled to highlight this absolute shower of s##t excuse for a courier company. I purchased a bed for my 5 year old daughter which was expected on the 10th of February, it didnt arrive. I received a text on the 11th to say that it would be with me between 1615 and 1815, it never arrived. Found their telephone number, called it to find that it was a PREMIUM number and my credit was wiped! Their track and trace system doesn't work, their email redirects your query back to their bogus track and trace system. The item was purchased from ebay, why the seller would use such poorly rated courier service is beyond me? I can only think that it's one and the same company and some sort of scam?? STAY AWAY”
“I ordered on eBay greenhouse
I ordered on eBay greenhouse. Us it is a large Item I do understand why the parcel is split in two parts. I presume that the first one which arrived on 28/01/2021 was the frame of the greenhouse, but my second delivery supposed to be on 29/01/2021 at 11:50pm I waited for it until 1 am. Try to contact them via mail got nonsense in replay how you can track you Item on your app ( which is sh...t in my opinion us you can't track all your parts) try to talk to them via live chat nobody is available. With they attitude to business They should go bunkrupt soon enough. I'm fiuming us this is grevious disrespect towards customers who send and receive parcels. Avoid by all costs.”
“After waiting for just over a week and chasing up with Ebay on a bed just over £200 I haven't heard a sodding sausage from these useless bunch of incompetent clowns!!”
“Would have given this company zero stars if I could. The bad reviews are there for a reason.
They eventually admitted to losing our order after 4 weeks of trying to contact someone. It is impossible to speak with them as their live chat does not work and they do not answer the phone. Convenient don't you think.
After much badgering from myself with the company I ordered from they have now said XPD have lost my order, which surprisingly enough is a very expensive item that basically is 80 kilos. How can such a big item be lost without trace? Looking back at reviews looks like they lose a lot of high price items. Now I wonder why.
Would never use them again even if they paid me and will make sure I check before buying online that they are not the delivery firm. The owners should be ashamed to have their names as directors of this so called delivery company.”
“Would do 0 stars if I could.
Your order magically goes missing, how 30kg of weights disappears into thin air is beyond me..
Cannot contact anyone, their live chat doesn't exist, they don't respond to emails and you're left with nothing.
It's all a massive scam and all I can think is, they are making great money from all these people's orders which convienently go missing. AVOID AT ALL COSTS”
“I have a business and there were items coming to me which still haven’t been delivered they said there driver would deliver between 7 30 and 9 30 pm at night do they think that someone has to stay there until that time shocking company do not go near them”
“It's a real shame that we can't leave 0 star reviews. One of XDP's drivers today seen in the images was driving recklessly and nearly crashed into my passenger door which could have killed my child. Bearing in mind that he started in the left lane, he then drifted into lane 3 (on the right) which you can see in image 2 and then cut off a truck at the exit whilst almost hitting a motorcycle too. REG: KY57 XVV if you ever see this parked up anywhere feel free to kick the mirrors off or slash the tyres as you'll be doing the country proud and making the roads safer before this dangerous bell end runs someone off the road or worse, kills someone”
“3 items were supposed to be delivered today as per what I ordered and according to their own XDP app. 1 was delivered and the other 2 items are missing. No number to call, their website doesn't appear to be working at all and their live chat through the app is non existence. I just can't understand why reputable companies use this particular courier service. I can understand why this company gets soo many negative reviews. But management need to get their head out of the clouds and sort this out or I can see these big companies using alternative couriers... And there are plenty out there. Come on guys... Things CAN go missing but at least let's have someone to talk to rather then emailing and then taking several days to respond.

“Ordered a lamp from aldi, says delivery will be from 7 days of purchase. XDP take over and give me a eta of 2.54pm-16.54pm. The driver sat in his van and didn’t attempt to deliver my parcel. Now I am trying to reschedule the details seem to be wrong. That numpty of a driver doesn’t deserve a job the useless waste of space and as for XDP how are they still operating? I reckon by the amount of bad reviews they must be stealing our delivery’s and selling them on.”
“Terrible courier service, steer clear!
I think this is probably the worst courier service I have ever encountered. If I could rate 0 I would. I was expecting my parcels (6 of them) to be delivered in one drop off but no! First courier turns up on Friday 8th drops off two parcels for me and two for someone else. He drives up my drive in a long wheelbase van then moans at me he can’t turn around. On manoeuvring his van off my drive he scrapes all down my wall and drives all over the plants on my drive ruining them. Half an hour later I get a phone all saying he’s given me two parcels that he wasn’t supposed to and that he has two of mine he never delivered. He comes back the next day and expects me to have all the parcels out for him and to load them onto his van while he passes my others off. I am then concerned I haven’t got the remaining two of my 6 parcels as they have been sat in a collection depot since the 7th Jan it was now the 11th. So I contact customer service who takes my postcode then says you’ll have to contact Aldi. This was after charging me 7p a min and no live chat working. Finally today I get tracking saying the remaining parcels will be with me today. I get home to find only one has been delivered and the other is nowhere to be seen. Check tracking and it says parcel has been split at delivery depot. Why? Phone customer service again, who to put it bluntly, couldn’t be bothered so they just pass the buck to Aldi. I still do not know why I have not received all parcels in one drop instead of the courier coming to my house four times. We’re trying to cut down on carbon emissions!”
“Useless company, avoid at all costs, promise 48 hour delivery, 2 weeks later still waiting for the other half of my order, why they split orders at their depot is beyond me, told me to contact seller but because I’ve received half of my order, believe I’ve had the complete order because I signed delivery document for that item. Now trying to get a refund on missing item, not holding my breath because I can’t prove it wasn’t delivered”
“Five stars and i have not even Received my page and the Reason for that is because how fast they responded to my emails and help for what i needed change out”
“What a joke ment to have my son new bed between 11 and 2 didn't turn up when I check it's gone back to the depo and trying to ring them for a hour no one answering don't use theses people”
“The worst delivery company, just horrible. Companies like Fitness Superstore, the company I bought from choose this delivery company, only to ruin their reputation and loose customers like myself. I'm still waiting for my order, I will have to request a Refund, since I know now I'll never receive it. I will report this company to Action Fraud Police UK, they can't operate anymore.”
“What a joke of a company. Provided an email with deliver time of between 11 and 1. The parcel has not arrived. The link they sent with the email to track the delivery shows that the driver can not be traced (for hours now). The live chat option on the website does not work. Have had to phone them up on a premium phone number and been on hold for an age with an automated message saying use their website (that does not work). I will never use this company and will not order from anyone who uses them. I've taken time off in troublesome COVID times and this is just not good enough. After waiting an age for an answer I got through. They could not sort it on the phone and I was promised a call back after they tasked to a supervisor. Guess what, still waiting!!! What a joke.”
