I've been a loyal AIG customer for years, but the recent experience with their service has been nothing short of infuriating. It's June, and I still have claims from 2023, as well as the beginning of this year, that remain untouched and pending. Despite their continued excuses about being behind and facing a backlog, they have no trouble deducting money from my account on time. This is absolutely unacceptable. It's been 6 to 7 months, and I'm still waiting for my claims to be processed. Every time I contact them, I'm met with the same excuse: they're behind and haven't caught up. This level of inefficiency is staggering, especially when considering how long I've been with this company. What's even more frustrating is that it seems like the only time I see any action on my claims is when I write a negative review. This is incredibly stressful and unfair to me as a customer. To anyone considering AIG for their insurance needs, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. The constant delays, lack of communication, and overall inefficiency are not worth the trouble. This company has let me down time and time again, and it's clear they do not prioritize their customers' needs. Avoid AIG if you value timely and reliable service.

Very bad and useless, didn’t receive my travel compensation due to a canceled flight, the employees were just fooling around, finding a bunch of tricks to avoid paying compensation

AIG /Corebridge, charges HUGE fees to quote, monitor your whole life insurance account. The setup is 4,000, to meet, in order to be able to borrow against your policy. I have been with the company for almost 2 years and I'm no where close to meeting that, because they charge more than the principle can build up to the 4,000 dollars . If I wouldn't lose so much money, because I have invested for so long, like 400 to 500 dollars, I'd already cancelled my account, plus they charge you additional fees to close out your account. Don't do it, they are about money and not about helping. The fees that they charge outweigh the positive, supposedly good things about a whole life insurance policy. You have been forewarned

Scam, flight was delayed, missed my connection and my bag was lost for 5 days, had to spend the night at the hotel and buy some necessities. They gave me $30 for the inconvenience. Thanks but no thanks, most claims get denied. SCAM company

only purchase AIG if you have too much money and don't know what to do with.

just the worst customer service I have ever had No one came back to me when I phoned, ( i was told it would be within 48 hours) When I complained a few weeks later someone from customer service phoned and left a voice message that they would call me back, and two months later they still have not I get emails saying they are looking into it. Its over four months. Are they that bad that I am in a queue. Honestly You could not write how bad they are

Once again, I find myself compelled to share my ongoing frustration with AIG and their abysmal service. Despite faithfully paying my premiums, I'm consistently met with delays and excuses when it comes time for them to fulfill their end of the bargain. It's been nearly two months since my last payout, and I'm still waiting for what should have been a prompt reimbursement within 7 to 10 business days. To add insult to injury, they've already debited my account for another three months of coverage, despite failing to deliver on their promises. Their claim of being behind due to a new system has worn thin, especially considering they've been using that excuse since the beginning of the year. We're now well into the middle of the year, and yet they still haven't managed to get their act together. AIG's consistent lack of efficiency and disregard for their customers' needs is utterly unacceptable. I urge anyone considering insurance options to steer clear of AIG unless they enjoy being repeatedly let down and left in financial limbo. It's time for AIG to prioritize their customers and honor their commitments with the same urgency they display when collecting payments. Until then, I'll be exploring alternative insurance providers who value their customers' time and trust.

Not helpful, I am a third party in an accident not my fault, and aig won't pay the full amount to get my car fixed €200 in the difference between audi garage and a back end garage which they recommend not audi parts unbeatable audi can fix it in 2 weeks the other garage 6 to 8 weeks so the rental can they are paying is going to cost more . Madness ,why to we pay some people are probably right not paying for insurance this is the way they do business.

We booked a package via Travelocity and insured it via AIG. The package included a roundtrip flight as well as a hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel was not reachable given the late arrival of our flight and the impossibility of reaching the last ferry on time. I emailed and called the hotel, Travelocity, and AIG, all of whom made many promises. After a full day of back and forth conversation trying to correct the problem, AIG said that they would be able to cover the claim. Upon my return and after yet another round of extremely poor/rude email and phone communications, they sent me a slew of legalese and concluded that they were unable to cover the hotel and process my refund. Please save yourself the time, money, and headache, and avoid AIG at all cost.

Not professional at all. No wonder why they got bad reviews But it’s only option on Expedia. They need to change insurance company. Waste time and money, I asked them to provide me a document of insurance for doing visa, because their document didn’t show all information. But they said they have no ability to do that. What a shame. If you have no ability, you should close down your company then.

I've been a customer of AIG for accident insurance since 2017, but my recent experience has been beyond disappointing. In the past year alone, the quality of service has plummeted to an all-time low. What used to be a prompt payout within 7 to 10 business days has turned into an agonizing wait of 30 to 45 business days. It's been nearly two months since I filed my claim, and I'm still waiting for reimbursement. Their excuse of being behind due to a supposed new system is nothing but a feeble attempt to cover up their inefficiency. It's infuriating to see them deducting premiums from my account without hesitation, yet they drag their feet when it's time to fulfill their end of the bargain. As someone who relies on timely payments for medical expenses, this delay has caused unnecessary stress and financial strain. AIG's lack of urgency and accountability is unacceptable. I strongly advise against entrusting your insurance needs to AIG. If I could rate them lower than one star, I would. Steer clear of this company unless you want to endure the same frustration and disappointment I've experienced.

I canceled my flight and was told that I would receive a check in the mail in 7-10 days that never came. They made me wait 21 days before they sending out a second check. I’m still waiting on the second check to come in the mail. They refuse to do direct deposits and insist that a paper check is the only way to issue out refunds. The check that I’m “getting” is less than half of the price that I paid for my flight. I requested a full refund 2 weeks ago and still haven’t had anyone follow up with me regarding it.

The worst insurance company in the world. Zero communication, I had to contact our national complaints ombudsman so they would contact me back. The internal review found major issues with their assessment and settlement and they were forced to begin the process again and pay what was owed. Do not ever use AIG
