Tech support is so hard to get in contact with. I prefer email/chat since verbal communication can be twisted. I purchased 3 electric cables just to get to the right one for a dual swing gate. As far as the cable return, it took 1 day for Aleko to confirm they got my email with the return tracking number, now it's been 18 days and nobody responded about my refund.

Love the product. Ordered the 9x9 grape trellis from Home depot. Box was delivered in perfect condition, was not open, no holes, but was missing one of the rolling pins to keep the tarp up. Have reached out to Aleko and have had no response. The missing piece is a problem with packaging and is not home depots responsibility to correct.

Hello Steve, I'm glad to hear you were happy with your trellis and I apologize you were missing a rolling pin. We recently installed a new phone system and have had unexpected technical difficulties. BUYER BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE! Absolutely the worst customer service! I ordered a motorized awning it arrived with several parts missing and some parts damaged. I contacted customer service and they told me to keep the damaged unit and they would ship a new awning as soon as possible. After a couple weeks I contacted them again and was told the unit had not been shipped because it was on back order and would be shipped within 10 business days. I waited another 2 weeks and contacted them again. This time I was told it was still on back so I told them I wanted a refund. The CS agent named Ahmad told me I needed to ship the old awning back if I wanted a refund (they originally told me to keep the damaged unit). I have tried to call them again on several occasions but wind up having to leave a voice mail and I have still not received a return call.

Hi Greg, I'm sorry you had a poor experience. I'm sure you can appreciate that we are at the mercy of the shipping and delivery companies and their handling. However, we ARE working to improve our packaging to avoid damage during shipping which can cause parts to go missing. Either way, I apologize you have had a poor experience. We are experiencing a very high call volume but I assure you, we WILL make this right for you. Please expect to hear from us in the next couple of days.
First of all it took forever to get the product Delivered. I had a licensed local builder lined up to install it... So because it took so long when it came he was busy so we just got to it now. First thing we noticed was that the wrong color was sent to us. Because of my frustration we decided to just let it be. Builder ran into several issues and constantly called Aleko ...most of them resolved...but the last attempt was very frustrating for him. He was ready to extend the Awning and it extended for about a foot. He called Aleko technicians And of course they told him about the adjustments with the screws and he did that and still could not get anywhere so he just gave it up for the day because the technician said maybe the motor got hot... but none of us are buying that. We will try Again later today but this has been the worst fiasco I’ve had In years. I actually bought this for my daughter as a gift and I wish I had gone somewhere else. Aleko what do you have to say? How can you make this better or are you even interested?

Ordered and shipped in April 2020, opened box and missing 5 rollers for tarp. Have emailed, called left message, stayed in que till my turn then says all available agents busy leave message. waiting for response.

no one answer the phone and the auto answering machine tell u that 3 people ahead then when my turn came the auto said no one available to take your call so leave a message so they might be out of business or its just fake company

I wish I could give this company zero stars. I purchased a trampoline At the beginning of June for my granddaughter who was living with us during the Covid 19 crisis so I could homeschool here since I am a retired teacher. I was sent a trampoline that had no extension poles. My son immediately called the company and after being on hold for almost an hour, was told they would send him a new manual and to check to see if he had all the parts. The new manual was worst than the first manual. The product items didn’t match at all. Another call and a long wait to be told that they neede to go to the warehouse to see if they could find the extension poles and my son could contact them within an hour. An hour passed and my son could not get through on their phone line. The next day another long hold and my son was told they could send the poles but they would not arrive till the middle ofJuly. Well that certainly would not be acceptable because my granddaughter would not be staying with us at that time but would be with her other grandmother since school would be out. Now my husband is upset and he calls. After another long hold he gets someone to tell them we want to return the products to only be told we would have to pay the shipping cost. Can you imagine how much it would cost to send a trampoline??? My husband was tole we would have to pay the shipping because we did not want the product!!! Who wants a trampoline with missing extension poles??? My husband was told they needed to speak to someone and would receive a call back. Well that call never came!!! YESTERDAY which is now June 19th my husband called and was put on hold for more than an hour. The call would say he is 7th in the queue, then he was 2nd in the queue. Then the line went dead. He called back 3 times and each time the same thing happened. Now it is the next day June 20th and I am sitting down writing this review. I do not purchase items online without reading reviews. I read so many great reviews and wonder if they were made up because I have never had an experience like this from ordering a product and I order online all year long because I utterly despise shopping in local stores. I also called today and was told because of high volume they would call me back. I will be waiting for their call an if I do not hear from them I will be writing reviews every single day until this matter is resolved!!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Gazebo arrived Box had been Re taped, obviously gone through in shop for parts, Gazebo Incomplete, missing 2 - # 7 Pipes (Roof), called, waited a week for WRONG PARTS to arrive of course on Friday night, can't find Hours of Operation, or anyone to just send me 2 - # 7 Pipes so that I can use this Gazebo, took my money Immediately, Can't get a complete Gazebo ? if this isn't resolved immediately, calling BBB, Bank, Etc. ., Very Unhappy Terrible Experience

I purchased a motorized awning April 27, 2020, it arrived on May 7, without the motor. I contacted customer service via email, phone, and online chat and waited weeks for an answer but could not get anyone to address the missing motor. After working through PayPal, I finally got notification that my motor had been shipped. I then installed the motor according to the instructions but there was a problem with the front rail and the arm bar link. Either the arm bar link or the rail was manufactured incorrectly and upon first use of the awning the arm bar link stuck in the front rail and broke and bent the front rail while doing so. I have since called and emailed with no response. The customer service number always send you to voice mail and even if you leave a message you do not get the courtesy of a response despite their claim that they will respond in 24 hrs. No matter the medium, phone, email, chat, we have been unsuccessful in getting Aleko customer services to respond. We cannot use the awning we were finally able to install and are extremely frustrated with this company.

We purchased 2 Aleko manual retractable awnings. Yes we knew we had to put them together and install them. The instruction manual was absolutely horrendous. They were next to impossible for anyone other than someone who is a builder or something close to put them together. My husband has his own building company. It took him 16 hours to put together and install. It was next to impossible to find an online video to watch for installation and even the one he could find was not very good! And now that it is installed it seems that he needs to somehow put a middle bracket in (not in the parts) because it sags. If the town dump was open, my husband would have brought all of the pieces there. It was an extremely frustrating experience and I would never purchase or recommend something like this to anyone.

Overall decent awning in the low price range- once it’s installed- but the installation and assembly instructions are terrible. I’m pretty mechanical and have assembled far more complex devices than this. Very non-specific with poor pictures so you’ll find yourself looking online for videos and you’ll likely need to take it down and partially apart to get the assembly correct and the adjustments right. A few more dollars on a decent set of instructions would make this more tolerable. I’d say either buy it and get a pro to install or get a higher end product that’s engineered better with better instructions Looks good when up though.

Very disappointed!! I bought a Motorized Retractable White Frame Patio, After receding the package I took a day of from my work to install it, although when I opened the package I could not find the motor in the box!! I believe ALEKO either does not have a quality control or there is a big gap on their quality system!

I’m writing to you today to tell you how disappointed I am with your products. I ordered two privacy screens from you. One is fine and installed well. The other is completely unuseable. When we tried to install it, it sagged and became twisted. Please refer to the pictures. I tried to return the screens to you, but you insisted that I pay the return postage, which cost more than the price of the product. I’m very disappointed that you refuse to provide me with the product you advertised I was going to receive. You promoted this product erroneously. How many of your other products do you fall short in selling?

Ordered two motorized awnings. One is fine, other had a faulty motor. Have sent emails, and left voice messages (no human ever answers the phone) to get this resolved with no response for over 3 weeks. Yesterday 6/12/20 I called and selected "technical support" and the phone range about 25 times before I hung up. Not sure they are still even in business.

Never got to talk to a person. Never called me back, ever, even after numerous email, tests and phone attempts. One person in a text said it was due to Covid. Ha, if I can teach PK children remotely during Covid, customer services should be able to return a call. No excuse.
