I am Arthur's wife Sheila, answering your query. The waiting time for someone to get to us seemed to be eternal. Although I told the operator when she answered the emergency button, that it was not an emergency, but my husband had fallen and was on the floor. He needed a "lift up". I cannot handle that aspect alone anymore.) Waiting almost an hour, I think, is almost unforgiveable. By the way. I told them NOT to send an ambulance and they did. Which left me holding ther bag for over$

We are always happy with Alert1's response and are glad to have you ! Normally when Mother ("Clara") falls, the operator calls 911 for the Fire Department to help her get up, as well as calling the contact person. But in this case, the operator (If I understand correctly) called the contact person but did not call the Fire Department also. When I asked him to please go ahead and call (because Mother is too heavy for my sister-in-law to pick her up), he did so, and that is fine. This isn't a complain, so much as just the desire to communicate that the FireDept should always be called if she is on the floor. Otherwise, Many, MANY thanks for all you do! Very appreciative of the services that you provide.

Pleased with the service received from Alert 1, my only concern is that my mom, Eileen, said she answered very loudly 3 times when asked if she needed help yet when they contacted me they said they received no response from her. They did send for help which was already there when I arrived and they took her to the hospital. Could this be a problem with her pendant?

Alert 1 worked perfectly. Was in contact with Dad throughout the situation which was approx. 30 minutes. Alert 1 called back to determine if Dad was OK.

Hi - Thanks - the one thing I might ask is that you let your phone call to Joe (619-698-4403) ring just a little longer. He answered, but too late to catch your notification - would have eliminated the need to call 911. BUT, You did the right thing - thanks

My dad couldn't stop talking about how great the EMS was that picked him up off the floor. He fell in the kitchen. He was very happy the way they took care of him. Thank you for such great service. My dad is doing ok. Just sore. Thank you very much. Thomas L. Keene

In addition to its lack of ability to respond beyond 65 feet, and the several minutes that always pass before your hired-out answerer responds, something has now gone wrong with the device itself. It turns itself on, and creates an emergency situation alert WITHOUT MAKING A SINGLE SOUND, and becomes a perfect "bug" for listening to private conversations. I have disconnected the device--both its telephone line, and its power supply-- and will ask my daughter to cancel this service, and return the device to you. It's no help to me, and has now become an illegal privacy-invading nuisance. As for me, I will be looking into a relatively new device that permits an emergency response anywhere on earth (inside or outside of structures) and can also detect falls, calling for help even if the user is unconscious. I know it's a bad time to make any kind of new investment, so you may want to search for creative ways of coping for a time with superior products.

We were very pleased with the quick response when my mother fell. You contacted family immediately. You spoke with my mother snd then followed up to make sure someone had gone to my mom's home since she had declined you calling 911. We did end up taking her to ER but she was okay.......blood sugar was low and she was dehydrated. Very pleased.

My mother is 97 years old and legally blind so occasionally the button is pushed in error. It is very comforting to our family that she has Alert 1.

I had fallen and was unable to get up. I pressed the Alert1 pendant button. Before long, the paramedics arrived, got me up, cleaned up my skin tear, checked me out (vitals, etc). Since I have a bad case of arthritis, it's taking a while to get over my fall. It will take time. Thank you for your concern. Theresa Thurman

We have never had to press the button for a valid emergency....several times for one reason or another, the button has been pressed accidentally. Most times we get a rapid response, once or twice there was some delay a minute or two.

I would have given you a "very good" except you failed to share the key lock box combination with the emergency dispatcher. This was a bit of information I gave in the beginning when we subscribed. It is possible it got lost over time; if that is the case please add it: the lock box is mounted on the post at the front door, combination is 1922. Otherwise Alert1 performed exactly as it should have! This illustrates the value of having a system like Alert1.
