I recieved a brand new phone blackview A55 that I bought on amazon.ca the 12 of september 2022. Everything was ok, not the best phone, but I use it to play my games and for texts mostly. I went to pick it up to play and nothing!!! It was frozen, dead the 19 of november after 2 months!!! Could open or close nothing!! Like the batterie was dead!! Amazon refused to refund me because they have a 30 days warranty for everything electronic ect, the guy didn't care on the phone he said call blackview company!!! The blackview company said contact the seller, the seller never respond to anything, so I ask to make a complain against a seller, and no, I can't do that eighter!!! 150$ in the garbage!!! I was expecting it to last 1 year that's all!!! 2 months?? Amazon customer service is not the same anymore they don't care!!! I willl buy somewhere else from now on, I was buying every single weeks because I'm sick and stuck at home!!! NOW I WILL BRING MY MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! WITH ME ALONE YOU LOOSE 1000$ A YEAR EASY!!!

AMAZON DELIVERY DRIVERS HAVE A LICENSE FOR LAZINESS! With the pandemic it was understandable that drivers would leave packages at your door instead of dealing with the customer in person, face to face. Now that were back to no restrictions you'd think an effort would be made to try to make a customer aware of the delivery by a knock on the door but no, that just gave some of these clueless individuals a license to be lazy and in the case of the last couple deliveries at our house, to be ignorantly clueless and leave the package(s) not just on the front door step, 5 ft. from the door so it's completely in plain view of the busy street traffic but they've left the packages in the rain!! Not in plastic but cardboard boxes, both times electronics and this one I may have to be returned but I doubt Amazon will care. Other delivery services send an email alert that the package was delivered, it should at least be a policy at Amazon to ring the bell/knock on door to alert the customers and leave the package at the door, not 5 ft away out in the open because they're too lazy to walk 3 extra feet. In this way, the Amazon service SUCKS highly disappointing !!

I have purchased a many thousands of dollars for products from Amazon. I would say that well over 95% of the of the products have been great. My complaint is with INTELCOM. They are the delivery company that amazon has chosen for this area. Today the driver, walked up the snow-covered steps to drop the cardboard box in 3 to 4 inches of snow. We don't use the front door, which is why it wasn't cleaned. Just to the left of the front door, is a open carport. The mailbox and the side door are clearly visible to anyone walking up the driveway. I have emailed, called and tried to complain about Intelcom close to 20 times. If I can't find a parcel, it's usually because it was delivered to the house down the street. AMAZON GREAT--Intelcom-inadequate. Thanks

Amazon's business has been suffering lately. Here is one reason. When Amazon CA changed their shipping policy in Canada to require driving across town to a remote Purolator with some QR code instead of being able to print a label (even printing a Purolator label would be fine) it made it very difficult for a lot of Canadians to return products. As a result I cut my Amazon usage from about 45 orders every 3 months down to about 3 orders every 3 months plus canceling Amazon Prime. So they lost about 95% of my business. I wonder if a lot of other Canadians took their business elsewhere for the same reason. Not that we were the biggest part of their market, but it's perhaps indicative once a company starts taking their customer base for granted and no longer puts customers first, their growth is bound to do an about-face.

Refunds? Does that happen within a week? Place is an absolute joke. Canceled multiple items and receive bs emails with no mention of a refund. Huge waste of time

With all the free ways to get music these days why on earth would Amazon think I’d actually pay for this service?? There has to be at least a few perks to being an Amazon member, especially considering every competitor is offering fast shipping. Add to that the price increase they put on their membership I’m starting to wonder why anyone still uses them.

Was a customer for many many years. Ordered may items, pleased with them all. Today I cancelled my account. I was considering another purchase and had my cart ready for checkout. So, I proceed to checkout and suddenly I have zero option to purchase unless I accept a free 6-month subscription to Prime! Seriously? IS there something wrong with the software? There were absolutely zero options to purchase without accepting free Prime. I have no time to experience all the benefits of Prime, and I don't order enough from Amazon either. But this, this experience prompted me to CANCEL my Amazon account immediately. I emptied my cart, deleted my payment and address information and saved that info. I also saved a screen shot of what Amazon had done, so there's no misunderstanding. Not sure why this happened, but in these fraudulent times WE MUST PROTECT OURSELVES!! Sorry Amazon, I'm done!

Amazon Membership I just canceled my prime membership. Amazon has imposed a nearly 30% increase membership fees. Spoke with Amazon membership team, they are useless . They have just lost a customer who buys thousands of dollars of product a year.

I ordered a new Breville espresso machine as a gift on amazon.ca. It is an expensive item but it came to the person who has a special occasion in an absolutely inappropriate state. The box was damaged and dirty, everything inside the box was also filthy and with numerous traces of use. The receiver of this gift came home specifically to get this gift and you can imagine her disappointment. I was very embarrassed. So, I contacted Amazon Support immediately. At first, they said that the best they can do is replace the item and give me a $10 promo balance, also to send this used item back I had to drop it off myself which I find completely unfair (the machine weights 11 kilos). I wasn't satisfied and in the end, they were ready to give me a $30 promo balance and refund the UPS pick-up service. The other two options were to get a full refund or to get a 30% discount and keep the used item. The next day I contacted the support again and to my greatest surprise, there was no trace of the earlier conversation. Amazon didn't store it. So, I had to explain the situation from scratch. In addition to that, the terms they offered the next day were even worse – no pickup available, 10$ promo balance, or 25% discount to keep the used item. I was really furious, and escalated the problem. The support guy promised me a call from a senior assistant within 48 hours but nobody called. Then, I had to contact them AGAIN. In the end, I've finally got a call but it was completely useless. The only thing they helped me with was the report for the technical issue of the lost chat conversation. All the proofs of the initial terms they had offered were in that chat. Extremely awful user experience. First of all, Amazon Support chat itself is really bad: you can't attach pictures there, they don't provide any chat reference for further convenience, and turned out they don't store chat history either. Besides that, the support team behaves really inconsistently and sometimes even rude: the terms they offer change over time; they don't keep their promises; terms, in general, are so bad, nobody cares about customer time and health. In the future, I will definitely avoid amazon.ca and amazon.com as diligently as I can.

I changed the delivery date but that was ignored and they attempted to deliver anyways, which would have been fine except the delivery driver also ignored the instructions to deliver to the back door and leave it there, instead he parked on a major highway blocking traffic and tried to get in the locked front door before giving up. Which would have be fine if they simple delivered the product today but they went for the trifecta and after ignoring the delivery date change and delivery instructions someone managaed to damage the package as well. When I told amazon customer service this wasn't acceptable and asked why it happened the answer was "we don't know, the delivery service is independent and once it's been shipped we have no input", then couldn't answer why there was an option to change delivery dates if they didn't have any input any longer. They failed to offer any solutions other than having me wait for weeks to be returned and refunded. They take no responsibility, they do nothing to help their customers and they lie outright to try and manipulate the situation. Truly a horrible company but it's my fault for shopping with them for the convenience and now being screwed over at significant personal cost. Always keep in mind that amazon is not reliable or responsible and should only be used for things that don't matter as it's too much of a risk for anything you need.

I was in disbelief when customer service twice hung up the phone on me when I asked them for my refund back to my credit card as they lost my package for the 4th time. I can't believe I am writing this as I always thought their service was top-notch until today. The first time I ordered a package, it said it was 'undelivered' so I called them up and they gave me a gift balance to order it again. The second and third time, it was delivered to someone's home (They showed a picture of a home that wasn't mine). I submitted a report, added extra delivery instructions, and they assured me it will go to the right address this time. The fourth time, there was no picture and it said it was handed to a resident. When I received that notification, I immediately called them and said who did you give it to as it sure wasn't handed to me. They told me to wait 24 hours and then call back. When I did, they told me: "the unusually high number of lost orders that you have reported exceeds this occasional expectation". I kept saying I didn't receive the package and they basically called me a liar, refused a refund, and hung up. Not once but twice. I called my credit card to report that transaction and disputing it with my credit card as I speak. The credit card company told me if they didn't ask me for a signature then there is no proof it was handed to me. The way they dealt with me was the worst way a company handles the situation. Never using AMAZON CANADA AGAIN.

Amazon currently has a massive glitch. When you cancel an order you can still be charged, I believe this will happen if the order has already been started and you cancel while the Order is being filled at the Amazon warehouse. Then it’s nearly impossible to get your refund. The transaction disappeared on my Amazon account but still shows deducted from my bank account with zero refund. Because the transaction disappeared from my Amazon account, there’s no way to get my money back from Amazon except to do a reversal with my bank. It’s a real hassle. I wish there was a better way. It’s literally causing me too lose sleep and so much stress. It’s been forever and still fighting.

From good, bad to worst. When there are issues, trying to contact Amazon is extremely difficult. These past 2 weeks keep getting the wrong items and all cause by Amazon, Fulfilled by Amazon From Outside Canada, they can't picked and ship the right items. Tried reaching out to Amazon but not possible, Sent messages and not reply back. I have another order that is still pending to arrive since Friday and now it's Sunday and never got my order. Not sure what's going in with Amazon, very poor service overall! Not getting as per advertised, not getting as per schedule, even when putting true, no vulgar ect reviews about a purchased, Amazon Do not post it because it's the truth! Sometime no issues but when they're are, the only thing is to return & re-order and then get the wrong thing more than twice, it's too much.

I love ordering from amazon it's great. I wish there were more delivery options. I get deliveries at work and there's no option for when the office closes for lunch hour. And yes there's a spot for detailed instructions but its not always looked at or followed. Once my ordered was returned because I wasn't able to be there during lunch to receive the order and I couldn't get someone to stay in during lunch hour to receive it. I can't always get someone to help me out, and I'm not always available during lunch, sometimes sure it's no big deal I'm having a working lunch anyway. Because the returned item was deemed undeliverable I had to get a refund and reorder. I didn't have many days before that project was to be done and had to wait for it to be resent to me, and my refund for it took 2 n half days, not made of money here

I ordered an item yesterday and immediately realised it was a mistake so I naturally requested a cancellation without wasting anytime. The only message appeared on my profile was" attempting to cancel we will inform you by email" Today having seen no reply or any sign I spoke to a customer agent who said it was not possible to cancel, very disappointed and don't think this site is worth my money. Thanks God we have enough choice so deleted my account and moving on to find a normal customer satisfaction oriented company for my future purchases.

Customer Service i terrible. I cannot get the right service. Instead of getting help. I get stress and frustration asking for help. Customers service agents are not well trained. Not knowledgeable enough. Low comprehension. They cannot understand the concern. You have to explain 3-4x before they get it and still provide a different resolution.
