Avoid signing into a contract with this company. This company doesn’t deserve a one star review. Ordered and paid a deposit for a new composite door in May 2024. Company cancelled short notice on us 3 times. Door was damaged by installers. New door made only to discover when they came to fit it, that the surveyor had measured incorrectly o. Initial store visit 5 months prior. The door was now to big. The last fitter said we were lucky that they had not removed the door frames or existing door without measuring first. The timescale was way beyond the signed contract of 6-12 weeks delivery to purchaser. Complaint made and notice served on company. No response to complaint from regional management. Contacted bank in December to raise a dispute and bank recovered my deposit. This company appear to bully consumers with unfair practices, and unfair contracts, which back consumers into a corner, absolving any responsibilities for their poor practices. I am waiting for a response from Anglian Home Improvements to my course of action.

Window fitted 11.July still not working. Windows fitted 11th July 2024. On same day we reported to Anglian that one tilt & turn window did not tilt. Arranged for engineer to visit. He came Sept 6th. and found a metal part on tilt mechanism was missing. He promised to source missing part. No word from Anglian by 28th October so tried to buy replacement window from them. Anglian refused saying they would progress a repair. 3rd Dec, no further word from Anglian so contacted but no reply. 12th Dec. contacted Anglian by again proposing to buy new window. They have now arranged Engineer to visit on 14th January 2025. This was the same position we were at in July 2024. I believe they can't process the repair. I expect they are deluged with repair work for Safestyle and Everest customers. Do not use this company at the present time. They will happily sell to you but can't repair or resolve installation problems. The most pathetic customer service I have experienced. Date of experience: 11 July 2024

Awful experience. Months after installing faulty patio doors, Anglian has ignored my complaints but keeps calling to sell me more products. Poor installation and zero customer support. Avoid at all costs!

I set up 2 time slots to get a quote and they failed to show. I was the one that had to call to find out what was going on and heard nothing, very poor

Terrible company, wouldn’t recommend anyone. Had a front door fitted 5 years ago, problems ever since, I’ve had about 10-15 engineers around and nothing gets done. Can’t seem to lock the door some days, handle is loose, now the door has white stained patches. I’ve called several times, been told that someone will contact me back, but no one does. Never been so stressed out in my life.

What a RIP OFF company you are,we had asked for a price for a new front door,sales agent came gave a price and when i told him that he was over a thousand pounds over the top immediately dropped the price by half? To my astonishment i had thought that the PRESSURE sales had been abolished ! Im sure Watch Dog will pleased to see what i have to say about Anglia ?

Just wanted a Quote, not a Excel spreadsheet plus ads on why we need to choose you. Salesman Martin was a pushy small man who felt the need to slag off other company's and give his 'expert' advise when it wasn't needed nor wanted. If someone wants a quote, give them a quote. Don't waste people's time trying to sell them something.

Very pushy salesman came to my door. I the reluctantly accepted to give an hour of my time for recommending new windows. Then another very rude salesman on the phone on day of appointment starts telling me he’s not sure I’m the homeowner (probably because I look young and its an expensive house) then asked that I MUST have wife present otherwise they are not coming. I got annoyed that someone is telling me what to do in my own home. Sod them I needed windows but will buy from more reputable traders thanks to the other comments helping reaffirm my distrust for these jokers.

Absolutely disgusted, what a waste of time Anglian windows are. They do not care about your windows only money. I asked them to come and take a look at some old UPVC windows we had and they said, in short, get lost, we didn’t fit it so we don’t care and we don’t fix anyone else’s problems. Shocking, the worst company in Salisbury I have had to deal with - Christine and Steph especially on reception could not be bothered to type, just copied and pasted a standard response. STAY CLEAR OF THIS HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL COSTS. THEIR 1 STAR RATING HERE IS VERY GENEROUS… THEY ARE USELESS, STAY AWAY!!!

Placed order 14/11/2024, surveyor came today 21/11/2024. Found the order men very pleasant and liked product, likewise surveyors very pleasant. I have just ploughed through the reviews and wish I had done so earlier, can only hope I will. be one of the few who have a good experience with the installation as I am 80 and will not be good at problems. I know that if I had read reviews earlier I would have cancelled. I have not been able to print off my signed contract and have e- mailed to ask for it in another format! Fingers crossed everything goes well! I was not even told their was a7 day cooling off period? I will let you know when work is completed!?

They didn’t finish my contract and the after sales customer service was a joke.never again. I’m still waiting for my guttering to be repaired as written in my contract. The sales representative was a conman making promises that he knew wouldn’t be done.

A panel to avoid condensation was installed as advised by their salesperson. Condensation started straight after the installation, in July ! Panel was not even cleaned inside! Customer service has been appalling and we have now been told it was not their fault ! I would not recommend this company to anybody

Got French doors installed and the doors are so badly misaligned that there is a huge gap between the doors. The lock doesn't engage (have to use two bicycle locks) and one can look outside through the gap. I have been trying to contact them for two months but without any progress towards anything being done about it. The finishing they promised didn't happen either. I paid almost 10k for this and a front door.

Avoid this company! If your situation change after you signing the contract and you need to cancel after 7 days, they will charge you a big percentage of your order even if you haven’t done any survey! They are not interested on your personal situation and they only say “ you signed the contract you have to pay or we take you to our legal team”! Their salesman will spend hours in your house and will do everything for you to signed the contract on that day promising you they got the best deal and if you don’t sign the contract on the day prices will increase. Be very careful with their T&C!

Do not use this company they have kept my deposit as I cancelled on the 8 th day as the 7th day was a Sunday they are unbelievable & not very fair didn’t even get them over to measure up

Disgusting customer service. Ordered a really expensive composite door a few years back and had nothing but problems with it - had to be replaced as it kept warping. Had so many issues with it since the beginning. Reported again that the replacement door has warped in May 2024 and still no new door - wife and kids struggle to get into the house. This company has no regard for its customers and the service is so poor. Won't ever buy from them again. Absolutely disgusting!!!

I can't speak for the product itself but we booked an appointment over a week ago and we're told the sales consultant would be at our address for 7pm and that they'd ring an hour before. 7pm came round and nothing. 7:30 and still nothing. We called the next day and booked for today. My partner rang Anglian at 3 to double check as we hadn't heard anything or got a confirmation, told a reminder email was sent to the Cheltenham branch. My partner rang again at 5 to check again and was told the same. No one came and no one called us. Disgraceful, you're meant to be selling to US. You've lost a customer who wanted a big extension, gladly take our business elsewhere.

I have just had a new porch fitted. The service was excellent and I am very pleased with the result. The salesperson, fitters and Sue on the end of the phone were particularly helpful.

Terrible experience with Anglian Home Improvements. I placed an order with them on 16th June 2024, with the understanding that a surveyor would contact me within a few days to schedule a survey. However, after waiting 10 days, I received a message that my survey wouldn’t be scheduled until 23rd July—over a month after my initial order. Due to this frustrating delay, I contacted their surveyor and customer service to cancel the order. Both assured me the order was cancelled and that my £249 deposit would be refunded within 28 working days. Despite multiple follow-up emails, Anglian has ignored my requests and insists my order wasn’t canceled until 1st July, which is untrue. Their customer service has been dismissive, giving only vague acknowledgments and failing to provide any resolution. This entire process has been misleading and incredibly frustrating. It’s now been months, and I still haven’t received my refund. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend Anglian Home Improvements to anyone.
