“We had Anglian replaced old double glazed windows and doors. The installers were friendly but the quality of the work is very disappointing. We called Anglian several times for them to resolve the issues. 5 weeks after completion of the installation and several phone calls, we are still no further forward. This is extremely disappointing. Once Anglian has received their payment, they are just not interested in resolving the issues. Terrible Customer Service and After Sales.”

“Offered a job as a field manager, my contract stated 37.5hrs per week however you’ll be expected to be married to the job starting at 7am until your finish your calls,(No overtime pay)company is all about profit, the standard of work is awful and a rubbish product at that.
Ive been in the double glazing industry for 25years is this is the worst I've seen.

I made it very clear that I wanted the new door to look like the old i.e. the same colour scheme, not blue and white and near enough the same glass configuration. I was shown a picture of a door that was similar to the original and I was assured by the salesman that was what I was going to get. I am now living with a door that is not what I wanted both in style and surrounded colour.
On the plus side the door was installed to a very high standard with a minimum of fuss.”

“We are of a certain age and thought the door that was first discussed would be delivered, then the so called surveyor came around and convinced us otherwise. We have paid three and a half thousand pounds for a door that would be found on a housing estate. The man that fitted was brilliant, no problem with him at all, nearly cut his finger off but kept going. Really disappointed with you Anglian”
“Very very poor company! Harassed me for weeks after I enquired about a new front door. I finally agreed to purchasing a new door as there was a promise for it to be installed before Christmas (this was November) we are now in February and still there has been no installation. After many phone calls and emails that were all ignored I managed to get an answer, the reason being the paperwork got lost on someone’s desk. Now I have to wait another month for installation and I’m being told I cannot cancel my order. Never again would I go with Anglian or recommend anyone uses them.”

“What a bunch of cowboys . Had a door fitted 6 months ago and it won’t lock . I got in touch with customer service and was told they would get back to me in two days. My home is not secure !!! They sent me an email and told me they would come out on the 31st of January, today is the 15th of January. A very detailed and irate email now sent to Trading standards.”
“The sake ref Pauline who came to southampton stayed over 2 hours very pushy rude about a tiny bit of mould on my window, had a severe infection on leg so was unable to wipe the window she promised new wood at top above the window and we wanted new window ledges when surveyor came out ge explained this wasn't possible would affect the structure of window below and above window ,we settled for capping over windows when two installer came they didn't know any of this information has gornpaulina stay well away from her she also said when trying to sell there products she would be popping in to make sure work was OK she isn't telling the truth only interested in getting her commission pushy lady please be very careful if she going g to come and try to sell you there products installers lovely couple of lads worked hard”
“Booked an appointment. No-one turned up and didn't even call to notify. I had to call myself to find the "booking wasn't done properly." Wasted a whole day for nothing. If they can't even handle a simple booking then goodness knows how capable they are at the actual construction job. Looking at other comments however, may have dodged a bullet. Unbelievable.”
“I had existing secondary glazing replaced. Their 'surveyor' suggested slot in panels of 3 out of 5 windows. The 2 hinged ones are fine, the slot in do not fit and condensation appears between them.
For 2 years I have been trying to get them to repace the slotin ones with hinged. I have had 2 visits from their engineers who bothsaid to me that they were too large and should not have been fitted.
It is impossible to get to talk to any manager at Anglian. even their CEO is unwilling to engage.
I went to the industry mediation service- after a year they washed their hands of my complaint.
Anglian have offered to change the windows if I pay over £1000 for them!! I have already paid £2500 for something that is worse than the old ones.
They now no longer sell the style of glazing they sold me so I guess they had lots of complaints!
My only option is to pay about £700 for an independent survey and take them to court. It is so frustrating.
The company ethos from top to bottom is appalling.”
“I am highly unimpressed by service of this company as I have booked 4 times and no-one turn up either in remote or in person appointment..I have called them and they always apologise and book it for next day and same thing happen.if they can do impersonating or remote, just let me know rather than wasting my time. I just need a quote which can be done by them online too. Ordered and paid a deposit for a new composite door in May 2024.
Company cancelled short notice on us 3 times.
Door was damaged by installers.
New door made only to discover when they came to fit it, that the surveyor had measured incorrectly o. Initial store visit 5 months prior.
The door was now to big.
The last fitter said we were lucky that they had not removed the door frames or existing door without measuring first.
The timescale was way beyond the signed contract of 6-12 weeks delivery to purchaser.
Complaint made and notice served on company.
No response to complaint from regional management.
Contacted bank in December to raise a dispute and bank recovered my deposit.
This company appear to bully consumers with unfair practices, and unfair contracts, which back consumers into a corner, absolving any responsibilities for their poor practices.
I am waiting for a response from Anglian Home Improvements to my course of action.”
“Window fitted 11.July still not working.
Windows fitted 11th July 2024. On same day we reported to Anglian that one tilt & turn window did not tilt. Arranged for engineer to visit. He came Sept 6th. and found a metal part on tilt mechanism was missing.
He promised to source missing part.
No word from Anglian by 28th October so tried to buy replacement window from them. Anglian refused saying they would progress a repair.
3rd Dec, no further word from Anglian so contacted but no reply.
12th Dec. contacted Anglian by again proposing to buy new window. They have now arranged Engineer to visit on 14th January 2025. This was the same position we were at in July 2024.
I believe they can't process the repair. I expect they are deluged with repair work for Safestyle and Everest customers.
Do not use this company at the present time. They will happily sell to you but can't repair or resolve installation problems.
The most pathetic customer service I have experienced.
