useless customer service I bought a Smart TV in October so less than 2 months ago. Nothing works now on this TV, the TV doesn't respond to the remote and its not the batteries I checked. Netflix doesn't work, it crashes, won't rewind or resume programme,nomatter how many times I click the remote I can't get the menu. Only YouTube functions on and now it seems I am going to be stuck paying for a TV that doesn't work for 3 years. I have called appliance direct to return but they have refused and told me its between me and the warranty provider. I have called the warranty provider to whom I pay a direct debit every month they said they cannot assist as this is not fall under damage or theft. Avoid this company at all cost. They are nice and efficient before and during a purchase but absolutely horrible after. UPDATE- If you don't want to suffer a nervous breakdown and depression in the process of trying to get a refund NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Nearly 2 weeks later I am having to deal with them while I am in hospital with my 1 year old struggling to breathe and really. I have a disability and I carried the TV downstairs 4 times for their delivery person that never showed up. On 2 hour calls trying to resolve this. I am beyond passed.

Atrocious company to order anything from. Purchased a tall larder fridge back in October. The listing stated they had stick and next day delivery. However, they changed delivery date 3 times, the last one was going to be February 2012 which would be 4 months after the order date and the date they took payment. Then I get a txt advising the fridge is no longer available, even though at the time of the order they stated they had stock along with next day delivery. Then they send me a link for a replacement which was the exact same fridge (with a different badge) but expecting me to pay another £145 for the same fridge when what they should have done is offered me this replacement at the same cost and apologized for wasting 2 months of my time especially when they had taken my money back in October. Disgusting customer service if you can even call it customer service and they don't even understand that as soon as they took my payment back in October a contract was formed so they had no right to cancel that order without my consent, which I wouldn't have consented to as I would have insisted on either a like for like replacement or an upgrade. I'm now going to order this same fridge form another supplier, even though they claim its no longer available and then file a county court claim for the difference as they have breached the terms of the contract they entered into with me.

Awful. I never leave reviews but this is the worst customer service I have ever received. Lied about the delivery times and the delivery slot and then didn't even process my refund when I cancelled the order. Spent hours on the phone to them - rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend!

Abolutely useless company. Can't fulfil an order, but can take your money. Completely incompetent. Told with 24hrs notice that I will not have my cooker for 4 months having e-mailed me to confirm it would be installed tomorrow. WOULD NOT USE AGAIN.

Called twice to confirm a delivery date and then emailed two days before delivery saying the order had been delayed.... for 5 months!!! Absolute joke. Don't shop here.

Shocking aftercare. Freezer stopped working completely within the first three months. Communication a nightmare, they just do not respond and when they do they don't want to know. Freezer fixed six weeks later. We are now a further 3 months on and the freezer has stopped working again. Appliances Direct are not interested, customer services working from home can't or won't help and apparently it is not far enough down the line to warrant a call from management! Emailed customer care manager numerous times but never received a response. As far as they are concerned it's the problem of the manufacturer (CDA) who are not responding either. As far as I understand my contract is with Appliances Direct. I have purchased a freezer that is not fit for purpose. Next stop charge back. Management at Appliances Direct, please feel free to get in touch, we would welcome the opportunity to speak to you.

Bought an Indesit dishwasher from you. Ordered 3 weeks ago, website stated machine in stock with a delivery date of 8th December. Got a phonecall next day trying to sell me an additional warranty which I declined but I was advised machine on its way. I paid £159 for delivery and for the old dishwasher to be taken away. Day before advised by email all was ok and on target It wasn't until 2.30 pm on the day of delivery I was sent a text saying machine not available and that Know How cannot install until January. Phoned customer service apparently Appliance Direct knew 2 weeks ago the product wasn't available and that Know How had advised Appliance Direct that they were not fitting until next year -Customer Service said they were told a week ago but obviously failed to advise me before I had taken a days holiday. Customer service offered a small discount which I refused and cancelled the order

It's a pity there isn't a zero rating! I can not stress enough, do not use this company they are utterly useless. Item delivered damaged, 3 weeks and 4 wasted days, hours on the phone to get nowhere. The customer care team show anything but care, they fail at all levels of basic service, simply avoid at all costs. Gone beyond annoyed it is now a complete joke, just like the company.

I would NEVER buy anything from this company again. I bought a 55" television that went wrong within the warranty. I was told to package it, at my cost, to have it collected. Three times they went to an old address, causing me to have time off work. The television has been in use for 18 months and the picture has gone. They have told me that as its out of warranty, they will not do anything about it. I clearly would expect a television to have a longer life than 18 months. VERY unhelpful!!!

Appalling service, avoid at all costs. Given 4 different delivery dates. Stayed in 2 full days waiting, taking time off work and didn't even email to say it wasn't coming. Awful.

Don't ever use this company, they delivered a dishwasher which flooded my kitchen, they delivered a replacement and wouldn't take the defective one away and said that I have to wait 2 weeks for it to be collected by a courier, it is now blocking my hallway, their customer service guy said nothing I can do about it your stuck with it for 2 weeks. DO NOT USE THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ATTITUDE IS THE WORST I HAVE SEEN.

Booked in delivery for Friday before 2.30 waited in got to 4.30 not heard anything so called waited for 40 minutes to get through was told delivery driver was behind schedule but would be with us soon they deliver up to 9.00pm , waited in all evening and nothing , called on Saturday morning as heard nothing waited another 30 minutes to get through and spoke to someone who looked into it and came back with it was a failed delivery due to .......“mechanical issues “ , we are then told the next slot is on Tuesday which isn’t great for us as we’ve had to chuck a load of food we had bought on Friday for new fridge , Not Happy .

Bought new dishwasher from appliance direct was delivered early Sunday morning had arranged delivery for the following Thursday because the old dishwasher was to be taken away so had to be disconnected and drained so it wasn’t ready . When the new dishwasher was installed turned out to be faulty. After half an hour on the phone before anyone answered was told that it could not be replaced until it had been inspected by an engineer and a report written,all this and we hadn’t even used it .so one week latter still waiting for engineer to turn up nearly two weeks later. Certainly will not be using Aplliance Direct again if this is how they treat there customers

I could have left a zero I would have. Please don’t order anything from this company. I placed my order online, chose my delivery spot for the week after ordering. I immediately got a phone call off someone confirming my order and delivery date, tried to sell me insurance I declined. All was fine. Got an email the next day saying my delivery date was being put back by over a month. No phone call or real explanation. I emailed to check why, I got an email reply to which barely readable, poor spelling and grammar. I didn’t understand most it but got told I would still have my fridge delivered on the later date. I waited for my fridge then today 3.5 after ordering and 1.5 weeks prior to delivery I have been emailed ( not phoned) to say I cannot have my Fridge as they don’t have any. How has that taken nearly a month to realise you don’t have my fridge in stock. I have read the reviews on here and decided to cut my losses I rang customer services to get a full refund. The women didn’t apologise or explain barely spoke to me. Luckily I paid through PayPal credit so got my money back straight away. Disgusting customer service, not even offering explanation or talk me through what was happening. Only phone call I received was to sell me more stuff. Lots of places more reliable, competitive prices and use PayPal. If you want an appliance actually delivered don’t bother with this company, they obviously have no respect for their customers or any will to encourage people to return as customers

Ordered a dishwasher over one month ago, on the due delivery day, I received a call telling me that it was unfortunate that it was unable and that they were sorry but they had one a double the original price if I was interested.

Absolutely terrible service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.!!!!! Placed 2 x orders online (40624859) and (40625179) for almost £9k on 01/12/2020 and paid for next day delivery at £29.99 GBP each. As of Friday 04/12/2020 they have still not been delivered and I'm unable to get hold of them on 01484 442453 or 0871 9844416. Shocking customer service. Do not use this company!!!!!

Terrible service. We have been left without a cooker. Dreadful service. Ordered and paid for a cooker which was shown as in stock. They called us the next day to confirm delivery and offer a warranty. The next day we had our kitchen modified and the gas supply removed (the new cooker was wider and was all electric). Two days after that, they contacted us to say that they didn't actually have the cooker at all and it would be delayed by a few days. This was annoying but we went along with it. Next day we got a delivery date of mid-March. We spent over £600 on having the kitchen altered and have been left without a cooker and Appliances Direct have made no effort to compensate or resolve this matter. Shocking service and misleading information.

The most incompetent company I have dealt with, confirmed in several emails they would deliver on a specific day in December, they deliver 8 days early and ruin a present. Awful customer service, poor packaging, couldn't even be bothered to put it in a decent cardboard box.

READ THE REVIEWS, CAVEAT EMPTOR!!! Not a great experience with this company I'm afraid!! Use at your own risk!! Ordered a fridge and freezer at the same time and was told that the delivery would take about a MONTH! ordered anyway as i was in no particular rush for them. Next day I received a call to what they say confirm the item details and make sure it's correct. What the call was actually for is to try and use hard sell tactics on you to take out extended warranty on your new goods and pay a monthly fee!! Even when you tell them NO! they don't stop pushing!! Anyway a little while after ordering, I get a message saying one of my items won't be delivered on time!! Even after waiting for a month!!! How long can it possibly take to put a fridge and freezer in the back of a truck and deliver it??? People have traveled to distant planets in shorter time periods!! So, the day finally arrived that i would take delivery of the first item which was the fridge. I get a message saying it will be delivered and will get a courtesy call before hand. Well I waited in all day and no call! So I called them. Was told it must be on the evening delivery if it's not arrived yet and to just be a bit patient. Anyway to cut it short, it didn't come! Next day spent hours on the phone getting pushed from pillar to post and losing connection with them 3 times! Only to get absolutely nowhere! My next port of call was with the delivery company themselves ArrowXL great company BTW! Only to be told that they do know of my fridge, but it hasn't been scheduled for delivery yet! I then had to arrange for the delivery MYSELF!! and select the most appropriate date which for me was the earliest. That was at least another week! Eventually that arrived and all was good. Now the freezer! That arrived exactly on the day they said it would with a different courier service. Unfortunately it had scratches on the front of the door. I got in contact with them and sent them pics of the damage and their response was to refund me £15 OR £20 store credit! Why on earth would i want to give these people more of my money by spending it in their store???? I told them after spending £200 on a damaged freezer, I don't really think 15 quid was suitable compensation! If that was all they were prepared to offer then I would rather a replacement. But did state it was now in use as I had no where else to store my food! Their reply was if it's been used they can't accept it backs it's in their terms and conditions! Just a complete hassle from start to finish with these people. If you want my honest opinion, then go to a reputable company you know and trust! Yes, you may pay slightly more. But in the long run, you will be glad you have saved yourself all the stress!! DON'T USE THEM IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!!!
