I paid for next day delivery of a dishwasher and was told it would be delivered between 10.45 and 14.41 and the driver would phone me approx 30mins beforehand. When they did phone on my landline I was unable to answer as I was on a call on my mobile but no message was left. Then the company phoned me a few minutes later but I was still on my mobile call, again no message was left. At 14.30 looked at my email to see if there was a contact number to call to check delivery time and notice an email sent at 12.57 saying "sorry we missed you". I had not left the house and the doorbell was fully working as I'd received other deliveries on the day. I contacted customer services and was told the next delivery date was 4 days later, but they did refund my fee for next day delivery. I contacted the driver who said he'd knocked on the door and rung the bell but obviously I "was not home" so he'd gone on to the next delivery and would not attempt to return to deliver my dishwasher. I dispute the fact that he'd tried to deliver, I was at home all the time. So beware, you have only a max of 2 chances to answer the phone to accept delivery, no attempt is made to call later. Glad to say the dishwasher was finally delivered at 7.20am on the next promised day. It was delivered by the same driver who still insisted he had knocked on the door. Which I'm sure he had not. I had paid for disconnection and removal of the old dishwasher, but the instructions clearly said that I had to disconnect and drain the old one beforehand so what's the point of offering disconnection. The new one was not installed as I wished and I ended up having to reconnect it myself.

Today early morning I receved a Candy washing dryer machine. For the first time in my life I saw how two men were taking the machine out from the van and to my home by hands! And Not by hand track.. At some point one of delivery man almost dropped it down from the van, but managed to catch it just before the ground. When i saw it my heart went down, but after i thought how lucky i am, that he managed to catch it. How wrong i was. Delivery was in the early Scottish dark morning. Outside the package looked properly closed. But now i am thinking that the only strange thing was that it was not packed in a hard paper box, as my previous washing machine from argos. This one was packed of celofane and white penoplast. Me and delivery men have pictures of it that we took at home... I didn't open it, as couldn't expect something wrong. It never happened to me. I immediately left for work, when I was back, as the first thing I started unpacking it and taking a video of a proccess (once I had very bed experience on ebay so always take video of unpacking). What i saw was really shocking. The top of the machine was very very badly damaged, totally broken and one corner is about to fall down inside the machine. My Christmas is ruined. Customer support is closed as its evening. I sent online request. And already got an auto reply advising me to upload the photos. But there is no option. to upload anything, i tried from phone and from pc.I really hope they will refund my money. I am reading the forums where people share thair experience and nearly crying. Its just so unfair. I paid for a new expensive appliance and got one which is badly damaged. I can understand some scratch could happen in transit. But not that damage that has my machine. For some reason I cannot upload pictures even here. Customer support please help, I am getting a message:* We could not upload one of your files, please try again later or contact support. Even when I upload one by one.

Great price on the items I wanted. Very speedy delivery. There was an issue with one item and following a couple of simple emails with customer service, a replacement was with me within 24 hours.

Dishwasher not delivered. Their courier says it was signed for, but nothing arrived. No refund. This seems to be such a common problem that it looks like a scam? This review site gave me a warning that the company is cherry-picking reviews. Reporting them to Trading Standards.

I am very unhappy as I have received a damaged product for the second time—one grease filter of the kitchen extractor hood out of two extractor hoods, which I assume is due to transport. Despite my previous complaint to Customer Service (regarding 3 damaged grease filters out of 4 extractor hoods) and the promise of delivery within 5 working days, the same issue has occurred again with another hood. What should I do? Should I contact Customer Service again for a new replacement?

Hasn't been delivered yet. Had oven uninstalled last Thursday ready for Delivery on the Friday. Didn't arrive and no contact from either the delivery company or yourselves. Almost impossible to get in contact with either. Finally managed to re book delivery slot for this coming Saturday. 8 days late, if it arrives!

I am a landlady. Every time I pay for removal of the old appliance or instalment of the new, or even removal of packaging - the delivery guys find some reason NOT to do it. Every time. EVERY TIME. Even if it is just taking the packing away. And trust me, we have done it all: disconnected old appliance, pulled it out, cleaned it off, had the electrician there beforehand to check all is good for new installation, taken doors off, cleared the floor, prepared everything as per ALL the instructions -but still: Oh no, we couldn't possibly do it because of.... Every time. Of course, it makes it easier for them. Last time I every buy from Appliances Direct.

Don't bother. I ordered a tap in November 2024 for over £250 which they said would take 2 weeks to come, no problem. After a couple of weeks I get an email to say delivery wouldn't be until 9th January 2025. We wouldn't wait this long, so I rang to cancel the order and request a refund. It's explained this will take a few working days to show... again no problem. The same day though, I get another half a dozen emails with random information... one with a credit note for £2.52, another saying the appliance was on its way and would be here on 3rd December... all very odd and none of which were what I called for. I kept checking the account and no refund. Called again to be told we had to get a refund from the 'supplier' (I don't know who this is and it was Appliances direct that took my money, so they should be giving it back) Explained several times they had to refund the money but they just cut off the call. Make no doubt I will be taking legal action on principle. Very bad company to deal with. I would advise you AVOID!
