Sadly the quality of Asda clothes has really deteriorated. Horrible materials, no shape, they all look really cheap. As a previous reviewer mentioned, at one time you would see several items that you liked, sadly not now. Oddly the range of children's clothing is very good. What has happened Asda? I no longer shop with you for clothes.

Its when you get a text or email saying your email would be delivered that day then when it doesn't arrive you call the customer call centre and explain your problem they say your order as a certain date for delivery so you need to wait until then for delivery I then said to the woman that I had received a text and email saying the order was to be delivered that day but for some reason that went straight over her head or just didn't or couldn't answer my question All I have got to say is stop sending emails and texts saying your going to deliver on a certain day and you don't because most of the time the delivery company hasn't even received it from Asda george

Asda grocery delivery excellent, been a customer for 3 years would give them a 5 star rating spending an average of £500 a month.Decided to give george a try as I urgently needed a microwave and expected the same exceptional standard of delivdry.DISASTER !!! Delivery due on the 28th of July.No time given.Stayed at home dreaming of my next microwave meal, nightmare mid afternoon notification delivery would be between 6pm and 8pm.In the meantime a perfect 5 star delivery by Asda groceries.Plans cancelled for evening in order to accept delivery. At about 6 was notified delivery waz 17 stops away, later at about 8 notified 7 stops away.21.55 notification to say there has been a problem with your order jt will arrive in the next 3 days. One star, first order with george ,their reviews are definitely up to Asda standards. As a protest I might. stop using Asda superb standard of grocery deliveries for a few months to see if they can improve the delivery standards of their microwave delivery standards.Food for thought !!

Item received was damaged, contacted Customer Services, had a job to understand agent because of a very strong foreign accent. CS arrange for a collect by courier the next day, driver took parcel, never gave me a receipt for it so had to take photographic evidence that the parcel had gone. Applied for refund, no information from George, refunded to Paypal. Ordered a replacement item to collect from store instead of delivery, went to collect the following day after notification that item was ready for collection, when I arrived for collection was initially told it had been collected which it hadn't, the item sat behind the security desk in the main foyer of the store where anybody could have picked it up, CS rep. in store not particularly helpful. I don't think I will be shopping with George again.

Ordered garden furniture was meant to arrive 16/5 it was a no show I took the day off work I then had to chase up item as Asda didn’t bother to explain what had happened I lost 2 days wages 1 for date should of arrived and then after numerous phone calls had to take day off for item to actually be delivered it’s a massive item so couldn’t go to a neighbor or anything. Asda refunded delivery fee n that was it also holes dong line up making items really hard to put together I don’t be ordering home deliveries again the whole thing has been a nightmare and has cost me double as lost wages no good will gesture was offered 😡

Bought a ladies strappy sundress, washed it on delicates before wearing it as had been on the conveyor belt, took it out of the machine and some of the seams had become holes as badly stitched in places. Have binned it!!

I bought 4 bath sheets from Asda and I have washed them 3 times and still they smell so bad! I washed them in cold water when I first bought them because of a horrible smell to them but I have had to wash them twice again and still have not been able to actually use them! They stink!

I never thought I would see the day when you go into Asda to buy clothes and literally can not find one decent thing, I used to spend a fortune every month and bought most of my clothes there now I hardly bother looking it is like a jumble sale of cheap and chatty rubbish, and the jeans and black work trousers are only available in a size 6 8 or 10 and if you do manage to find a real size pair they are 2 foot to long and about 2 sizes smaller than the size stated. They must notice there sales going down lots of people saying the same thing wish they would bring back decent clothing that people actually want and that actually fit true to size and stop putting out cheap horrible clothing no one wants.

Shortly before Christmas I purchased a budget men's shaver on line with a delivery cost of £2.95 - It arrived in good time but to my surprise the power lead was fitted with a UK three pin plug. I immediately put it on charge and left it to do something else. Shorty after, I noticed a strange chemical smell which tuned out to be the shaver overheating to the point of being to hot to handle at which point I switched it off and repacked it. After navigating their clumsy web site I managed to arrange a return but it had to be taken back to a local store which my wife kindly agreed to do. On the site I was only given the choice of two reasons for return neither of which was ' Dangerous Fault' - because of this I was concerned that I would not be refunded for my original postage, and given the fact that the product was so dangerous I decided to write to George's Managing Director Elizabeth Evans. Now whilst I didn't expect a reply from her I thought, due to the nature of the complaint, I would at least receive an acknowledgement - no such luck, not a dicky bird. Some weeks later a message popped up in my inbox including a £4 e-voucher, whatever that is. No one at my local store and a clue what to do with it so it's useless. Not the best shopping experience.....

I used to swear by George clothing, especially pjs. The pure cotton items I would purchase were always very soft and comfortable, however... Something must have gone dreadfully wrong. I did a very large order of multiple different tops, trousers and pj sets as well as some sweatshirts and bedding - all of which are not fit for purpose. I've not been able to go out due to poor health and thought ordering some new clothes to lounge in would help recovery. 😔 All of the items which came were very srachty and already had bobbles on, the sweatshirts also leave fuzz everywhere and I can't believe I wasted that much money. I can't gift the items to anyone because they touch the fabric and also fee like it isn't something they're willing to wear. I attempted to make the best of it by using fabric softener but it's done nothing at all and they feel even more bobbly. Some of the trousers are also the kind of material which doesn't let your body breathe and it suctions to your skin. 100% cotton doesn't feel like that! Nor is it my machine or the products I'm using as I've never had this issue with any other George orders. Trousers I bought from a year or two ago weren't like this. Nothing I bought previously online has been like this... I was too unwell to be able to return any of it and have been stuck with it and without the clothes needed. I wasn't able to find any comments online to see if it was just my order or if the quality of Asda products have taken a turn for the worse... But when you buy bedding, you also don't expect it to cut your skin after using it! Within a few days there were sharp bits of fabric sticking up, one of which dragged on my arm (hence how I noticed it). I've been left so upset and fed up with this order that I never want to buy from Asda again. Nearly everything is only good for landfill and now thankfully I've gotten rid of most of it. I've never gone to sleep getting stuck to the bedding because the bobbles are digging into each other as well as myself. Bobbly bedding sticking to the bobbles on my clothes and all of that sticking into my skin. I did try to make the best of it, but it was so bad that I'd rather not have the products. The entire order is supposed to be things that physically come into contact with your body. Utterly horrible! During a cost of living crisis this is really disgusting. I don't have photos or videos (you don't think of doing that when you're not well). I did try to get a photo of the sharp fabric on the bedding, but it wouldn't come out either. The main issue is that you'd know what I mean if you touched it yourself. The people who packaged the order (I'd was delivered in different stages), especially the clothing, must have touched it at some point to know the quality was poor. People buying items at home don't have that option.

Ordered a set of four glasses. A box arrived with 3 glasses. The side of the box clearly states set of 3 glasses. The website shows 4 glasses and matches the description. The order email also clearly states that I ordered 4 glasses not 3. Asda make it impossible to complain. No working email address. The online complaints form is not fit for purpose and phoning them is a real test of your sanity. I tweeted them but have had no response. I already felt ripped off but the fact that you cannot complain adds insult to injury

Bought bath towels which constantly leave bits even after 4 washes. Asda will not allow bad reviews on their site which is really miss leading.

Ordered items for my Grandaughters birthday and paid for an actual delivery date. Got emails/texts to say delivery would be that date then no parcels arrive but I received 2 emails to say they had been delivered? Called Asda the next day to be assured they would call Yodel and DPD (my order was split) then call me back and update me. I then get an email from DPD to say they would be calling, I had no one at home so chose a safe place for the driver to leave my parcel, this was totally disregarded, and I got an email showing my front door and they would return the next day. Still no call back from Asda to explain so called them the next day to be told they have a picture of the parcel being left (the driver left my parcel in the front garden and I live on a busy street so I take it someone helped there self to my goods. Who leaves a parcel in a front garden on a busy street !!!!). In the end, had to cancel the whole order. Very frustrated

Canclled order the same day but instead of being stopped order went ahead. But I never recieved the item and its still showing as dispatched but not delivered on my account. Got the run around from customer service, saying it had been marked as delivered. And to get a refund I'd have to return it. How can I get a refund on an order I'd cancelled and never received. Im over £140 out of pocket and 4 weeks later still no refund. Customer service useless and the I'm being ghosted by the whats app service. Very angry that I've not got my money returned.
