Car incident not my fault Car incident not my fault. Aviva have been messing me around for a year saying the other partly has not been in touch yet. Your team should be perusing this case down the legal route ,when I have brought this up they say there nothing we can do. If I could give a honest score it would be -0. My advise is go with direct line and avoid this company.

After a claim , Aviva sent out loss adjusters on the visit to my sisters house , i was asked or interregated asked why i had parked my car 10 yards away from the house , ( reason my siaters husband parks on the drive and my sister directly opposite the front door ) Asked why the heating was not on in the house ...What these type of questions had to do with a loss of items during a house move beggers belive....Aviva have caused me emotional distress , to which they were instructed by the finacial ombudsman to pay £300 for the distress caused...The loss adjusters then sent me other peoples claim details yes they sent me other peoples personal data....I sent Aviva personal information they cant account for...The claim is still outstanding...My opinion of this company and the loss adjuster they used is of poor pratice to say the least...BUYER BEWARE.....

I don’t trust this insurance company anymore they have given me incorrect information multiple times for my claim which they said the access isn’t questionable as I have the video proof of the accident and I don’t need to pay and at the end they haven’t sort out liability with third party insurance, ridiculous if I knew I wouldn’t have my car repaired due to only minor scratches. Full final statement of my complain was a compensation of £75 for their incompetence and unprofessional treatment.

Good price initially for car insurance for two years, however renewal price was way above market average.

I had an endowment with Aviva which has finished with a £20k shortfall. Not only do Aviva not care about the shocking performance of their company but they are refusing to pay out the policy & have effectively stolen the money. Despite 4 complaints, a catalogue of phone calls & emails I have made no progress in 10 weeks. This company are a bunch of fraudsters & has the most incompetent & thickest bunch of people working in their customer services. It's impossible to speak to anybody in authority as they are all at home & don't call back as promised. Aviva is full of fraudsters, liars & incompetence, avoid at all costs unless you want your life to be ruined.

I never write reviews but this experience has been so horrible that I am compelled to write this review to hopefully help someone else out. I've been with this company for years for auto insurance and I am a customer who pays ANNUALY up front. I had a claim as my vehicle was stolen. It took almost a full year until I had been denied a claim. The company was sooooo dirty in trying to find ways of how I breached my policy so that they could deny me. They tried little tricks here and there to claim I had been dishonest, which I wasn't! I had to retain counsel because it got to the point of harassment and unfair treatment. They finally denied me because my lawyer kept telling them the documents they asked for were irrelevant, which they were and kept asking for representation on their end so he could have a fair and legal conversation. They refused, and denied me for not 'cooperating'. On top of this, they took my car after it was found and had it at an auction place without telling me where it was !!!! Until they denied me of course. All I can say is PLEASE stay away from this company, their motto is DENY, DELAY, DEFEND. They are HORRIBLE when you make a claim and need their help.

I recently moved addresses and my premium went up by £360.40. No one has been able to explain exactly why my premium has gone up by this amount, I've only been given vague responses. I was also denied payment deferral, due to the fact that I paid for my car insurance policy in a lump sum. In conclusion, I am short on money for the next 2 months because moving addresses has meant putting a deposit on my new property, paying two months rent, and paying an extra £360.40 for my car insurance.

Last year, I was paying £1,344.24 a year over monthly instalments for my Aviva car insurance. The only thing that has changed since August 2019 is my address. However, the renewal quote they offered me is now £1,568.74 - over £200 more expensive! How can my insurance increase by £200 due to a change in address? I could understand if I now lived in a rough area. However, Esher is much safer than High Wycombe, and I can also now put my car in a garage; so if anything, it is even SAFER than it previously was. My car insurance should be decreasing; since I have another year of no claims. I will now be looking to buy car insurance elsewhere. What Aviva have offered me is extremely unfair.

Been with aviva for a few years now. No problems. I had a small bumpin my car. My fault. Local garage quoted £250 to fix 3rd party car but after, the 3rd party had became aggressive and argumentative. Spoke to aviva and thay took over the whole problem from me. The only thing to add obviously my insurance went up the next renual, but every one on the phone was great, understanding and helpfull. It was easy to contact them on phone Thay are not the cheapest but from my experience, you pay for what you get.

Have been an Aviva customer for years - made a claim on my fleet policy for a car accident which meant the car was written off and guess what they won't payout enough to buy a like for like replacement when you can't find any car at the value they place on it - sticky fingers when it comes to paying out and it's only then you know what you paid for

Very Poor Customer Service .... (should be 0 Stars) I had a Vehicle hit my car behind and within a week his insurance admitted Lability however I was told that his insurance had to admit lability to Aviva and this could take upto 6 months!!!! .... only after I raised a complaint they bothered to call his insurance to find out i'm correct ... then I was told by a very rude person they will drop complaint (I guess if its to much effort they can't be bothered) also when my car came back from repair within 10 mins I got a call I must return courtesy car immediately ...they are more concerned about incurring costs for the person that hit me than looking after their customer ...my policy due for renewal end of this month ... I wonder if I will stay with them? ...yeah right!!! ... avoid like the plague!!!

one of the worst companies I've ever experienced. Placed an order BEFORE 7PM for an item and not only paid extra for next day delivery but also extra for before 1pm guaranteed. After placing I didn't receive any email confirmation number 1 Number 2 after calling the following morning to enquire about my purchase, I was spoken to with the utmost disregard and lied to about my order. I explained to them its needed for a job of mine and if they're absolutely certain its going to be with me by 1pm to which they reassuringly confirmed. I had to leave out as it was well past 15:00, at around 18:00 my partner informed me that had been delivered by dx mail who dont offer a guaranteed by 1pm service.

According to their website only online quotes for home insurance as available. I completed an online request for a quote and the price was so high it was untrue. I got insurance with better cover for another provider for around a third of the price.

Aviva r total scammers and fraudsters. There main business is to find little mistakes, then they will still offer u and go ahead with policy, then 10_20 days later bring forward the mistake and either increase premium significantly or charge cancellation fees. Looks like FCA is asleep. If they knew that there is some mistake then why take deposits and start up policy in the first place. In my opinion avoid them at all costs even if there premium is cheaper than others as they'll scam u with more money later

Do not waste your money paying for insurance with Aviva! My parents are both 85, my dad has Alzheimers and life is very difficult. They have paid to insure their property all their lives and have ensured that it is well maintained. Last Sunday they had water pouring in through their sitting room ceiling. It was apparent that the roof was leaking due to very high winds and torrential rain through the night. The ceiling is badly damaged and the carpet is ruined. We had to get an emergency roofing contractor out to stop the leak and ensure the property was water tight. Aviva claimed that as it was not categorised as storm damage (in their opinion there had been no storm in the area), it was therefore not covered by their insurance policy. Disgraceful!

I was previously a customer with Aviva insurance but when it come to my renewal there was a £2000 increase and they couldn’t answer why. I went online to do a new quote with them because I’ve heard sometimes you’ll get it cheaper starting again but it was still £1800 more than what I had paid the previous year. I will not be using them again
