I would never normally leave a review but sadly im with everyone else about the return of sale items! I really fail to see how they claim to have a 'strict returns policy' that doesn't refer to only getting a gift voucher upon the return of a sale item! I wish i had seen the reviews first as this is clearly an ongoing issue! its a shame as i love the item i kept but their customer service and attitude is appalling, along with this so called 'strict' policy

Don’t buy from AX Paris, your returns will be put on a gift card. There is nothing on the web site telling you Sale item will be put on a gift card. This company will go bust with this kind of poor attitude towards its its loyal customers. You pay to receive the good, you pay to return the goods, and in return you get a stupid gift for your cash. AX Paris you are an appaulling company and today you may have won the battle of keeping my cash, but you lost the war, I will never purchase your products again on line or products you have in other stores like New look and Debenhams etc. Goodbye to a rubbish company

1 star rating is actually too high for this company. I bought over £450 worth of goods from this company for my 3 daughters for prom and a future wedding. They were received, tried on and the unwanted goods were returned the following day. The following week I received an email enclosing a gift card for over £180 because of either late returns or sale items. On reviewing their returns and refund policy there was nothing written to state that a gift card would be issued. After a day of ping ponging emails (because you cannot get in touch with them over the phone) and getting nowhere, I took my issue up with PayPal who have managed to refund me my full amount because AXParis did not reply to any of their communications. Shocking customer service. They need to update their refunds policy if they want to give gift cards out.

I ordered quite a few dresses from their website for my daughter to try and ended up returning them all. I returned them within the 14 day period stated on their website and was expecting a full refund, as stated on their website, less £3.95 for return postage costs (you also have to print your own return label). A few days later I received an email from them saying that they had partially refunded my order, but the items which were in the sale were refunded by credit note (over £90). The credit note they sent was also almost £40 short of the amount outstanding. I emailed them to query this, sending them a screenshot of their own return conditions and extracts from the ‘Which’ website which says that I am entitled to a full refund when ordering online. This was several days ago and they haven’t replied, and you can’t contact them by phone. I have now had to open a dispute through a PayPal to try and get my money refunded. I wish I’d read reviews before ordering from them as I definitely wouldn’t have bothered.

AVOID THEM! They refuse refunds on sale items which is in breach of CCR, I've checked their website and cannot locate anything that clearly advises me only vouchers available for sale items - when contacting customer services they are unhelpful and just repeat themselves, also you cannot email or call complaints you have to write and post letters but you can email customer services - terrible experience with this company

I am so annoyed!!! I am pregnant and needed an outfit for a wedding. Maternity ranges are pretty limited so I ordered a range of dresses a couple of sizes bigger than I am to try on. When I returned the dresses that weren't required and ordered for choice - I was given a giftcard for £79. It did not say anywhere when I ordered that this would happen - apparently because the items ordered were sale items. I would NEVER have ordered these items if I had known as I always knew I was going to return most of them. I have no need for £79 of AX paris items and am £79 out of pocket FUMING. What a con.

I returned my items. Two of which were sale items at 14.99 each. There is no where on the site that states you'll not receive a full refund on sale items and only be given a credit note. I have asked Chantel (C/S Manager) who is pretty useless at her job! To lead me to the site where it states this? No answer after asking numerous times. I was also supposed to receive a refund of £29.98 but have instead received a credit note of £26.99, again I have asked why I've not rec'd the full refund of £29.98, again no answer from Chantel!!! Just an automated email reply staying if I am not happy then I need to write to customer services. I asked for someone to call me several times, nothing! I wouldn't mind if the site explained that sale items were non-refundable but it doesn't! And they have the audacity to given me a credit note short of what my refund is! Should be ashamed of yourselves! Terrible service AX Paris and terrible customer services Chantel! As a manager, you should know better than to ignore customers when they are clearly in the right. I've taken this dispute up with Paypal and if its not resolved will be heading to trading standards. Simply not on! I want my money back!

Order a dress which when arrived was not suitable. Returned the next day. Once they received the return they emailed to say as it was a sale item they refunded me by Gift Card/Voucher. No where does it state on their returns policy that this is the case. I even emailed them their own return policy to read! Yet they still came back and said they had very strict rules with sale items and refunds this way. I asked them to show me where on their website it states this about sale items. They could not show me this. They told me if I was not happy to write to their complaints department by letter. I do not know how they can get away with this!!

Ordered a dress that looked lovely online and had a retail price 40 GBP. When I get the product and try it on I'm horrified to find out its completely see-through. After a closer look I can see the material is really thin and assume its a fault with the garment. On the photographs on the website there is nothing to suggest it would be see through and the dress isn't even tight. It's enough to just lift the material up and you see right through it. I contact customer services expecting to be able to get a full refund for a faulty product. They however are incredibly rude and insist this is not a fault with product and won't refund. Yet its not shown as see through on the website. That's false advertising. Can you please explain why its acceptable to sell a dress that's made out of such poor quality material that its see through? They won't refund me fully, only offer a voucher towards another product with them after deducting the price of postage costs (over 10 GBP as paid for next day delivery). Of course I am not going to accept this as I have no interest in any further items from them. Incredibly shameful as their products used to be nice but sadly they are now like any other online, fast fashion company that produces poor quality clothes and have zero customer service. AVOID!!

With an upcoming event I needed an outfit last minute and I was not disappointed with AX Paris they have a huge selection and the jumpsuit I ordered came in 3 days very pleased thank you.

Absolutely awful company no sympathy what’s so ever. Returned items to find out it had been refunded by gift card I’m now £108 out of pocket and nothing to buy. Clothes are cheap looking and customer service not great at all! Avoid using this company where you can they con people out if money!!

Becareful when ordering items off this website as all sale items will be refunded as a gift card as opposed to your card. Contacting customer service isn't helpful. Very disappointed .

Had to return items as the sizing was inconsistent. I had four dresses of the same style and size but in different colours. Each dress fit completely different, either way to small or hung off me, but all a size 10. The lighter coloured dresses were see through as well. Returned them and was issued a refund in the form if vouchers as they were sale items. It states in thier terms and conditions that sale items are non refundable, but who scrolls through T&C's before they buy clothing. It should be made clear on the listing or at check out. I wouldn't mind but I can't afford to pay another £8 on postage and returns for items not fit for purpose. I ordered from them about a year back and had the exact same issue with sizing. Bought three of the same dress in different colours. The dresses were really nice and I kept one of them. The other two, although the same style as the one I kept, barely covered by arse when the other one came to my knees. Seems like they put all thier faulty items on sale, refuse refund and save losing profit. However, if items are faulty and can't be worn then they are basically stealing from you. So now I'm down close on £88 and stuck with a voucher I can't use. Nice! I won't use them again. Wish I had remembered the company name from the first time round. I will try to get a refund but given the fact there products are so poor, they scam you with thier return policy and thier lack of customer service I'm not hopeful.

Spent £200 send dresses back due to sequins falling off them and poor quality. Will only refund credit vouchers and consisting ignores e mails and contacts or comes back with a generic repetitive answer that’s not resolving

Ordered £100+ worth of clothing, charged me twice for delivery, customer services unhelpful. Paid for next day delivery - LATE. Items see through/bad quality/sequins dropping off. Returned (you also have to pay for return postage) to find out that if items are in the sale you DO NOT get your money back, instead a voucher to use on more of their poorly made clothes.. disgusting. Avoid.

awful company, wont refund my money, wont reply back to emails, please do not waste your money, the clothes turn up late and poor quality, when you return them you have to pay for a return and then they refuse give you your money back.

Needed to get a dress for a wedding so spend £111 on a few different dresses to try on. found one I liked, paid £6 to return the rest of them that I didn't want and yesterday I received a gift card for £90!! I only used the site to t myself ONE dress and now I've got £90 to spend by July. If I order clothes to try on ill have to spend more money sending them back because of their poor sizing. If you buy anything that's in the sale you wont get your money back. Id like to say I'm never shopping with this company again but I am now being forced into spending another £90 with them.

The quality is really bad!! See through, not true to size (even though I am the same size and body type as the model on the website who wore the dress I ordered!). Wasted time and money. What a scam!!!!

Dresses are nice but customer service appalling, there is no option to cancel orders (even within minutes of placing order) and they charge you a huge amount to return products if they don’t fit or aren’t what you expected. I’d avoid and use ASOS instead
