Absolutely shocking! Ordered an advent calendar on the 24th September for delivery on the 1st November and still not received it (29.11.16). Phone calls and emails to Beer Hawk and I've still not received it. Promised it would arrive yesterday and got a tracking email stating delivery between 9.12 and 10.12am - Nothing!! Rang To find out what was going on, to be told the courier only had the town, not the full address!! Told delivery would definitely be today - nothing!! Just want my money back now, seeing as they've had it since September and I'll buy something from a more reliable company for my father in law for Xmas.

The quality of the beer was amazing and I would recommend it to everyone who wants to sample beers from different countries especially Germany

I've lost £5.50 worth of beer tokens, have not received reason why from customer service, my request to escalate the complaint has been met with silence. Awful service. Shame.

You claim to deliver within three days. I have now waited for eleven days. The American beers I ordered missed Thanksgiving. My email to the company has remained unanswered. Beginning to wonder if this set-up is an elaborate scam. John Allen --Order No 100104046

Excellent service, I ordered a beer advent calendar for my husband on Friday through Amazon, estimated delivery was this Friday coming but it came this afternoon, I had an email a couple of hours before to say it was being delivered and another one shortly afterwards to even say the driver was running late, overall my experience with beerhawk has been brilliant, my husbands over the moon with his early present and already asked for another one next year

I ordered the advent calendar and tasting pack in September. After many emails and false promises delivery dates moved from Friday to Monday and moved again. I gave up and cancelled the order on Friday 25th November. I was told by James that they would send me a copy of the receipt which they did only this was dated 21/11/16. How can you pre date a refund.The company have not replied to my last few emails. the phone rings and they hang up. Tonight I have emailed them for the last time to inform them that I am reporting them for fraudulent activity and have contacted my bank.

I have ordered a number of times from Beerhawk this year and always received first class service. I placed a beer order on 15th November, heard nothing, sent an email, got no reply so called them on 23rd, to be told that I should have been sent an email. On 24th I called again to be told that some of the beers were out of stock (it would have been nice to have been told this!) but they were expected in any day soon. Because I was a good customer I was given £10 of additional beer tokens which I then used to place a further order. Was that a mistake, I ask myself as it is now 28th and I have tried to call but without success? I see today that Beerhawk are doing a Black Monday 15% sale. I also notice that the number of beers available is drastically reduced which makes me wonder if they are having problems with their suppliers... I fear the worst even though I will keep on trying to speak to them.

What went wrong? Where do I start?! Ordered via Amazon on the 17th of November. Dispatched the same date with a delivery date estimated for Thursday the 24th of November. The day came and went without the delivery or even an update. Called Beer Hawk on Friday the 25th of November to check where the delivery was. Allegedly it had been delivered to the wrong address that day! I was then told that I was definitely getting the delivery on Saturday. Saturday came and went, no delivery. I then called up this morning to ask for an update and "suddenly" my parcel was out for delivery. I took delivery of the parcel. Which turned out not to be my parcel. It was something my husband had ordered. The courier had simply STUCK THE LABEL WITH MY DETAILS on top of the label already on there. So I now still have no advent beer calendar, you have taken my money and I also know what I am getting for Christmas. You are slowly ruining Christmas, one day at a time. Also, if I phone from my mobile number, Beer Hawk do not answer (but strangely do when I phone from a land line - they are avoiding my calls). I will report to Amazon and also to my credit card company. This matter is not resolved but I have been told 'it will definitely be resolved today'. Want to be how much more this order can be messed up?

Loads of things have gone wrong. Nobody seems to have the authority to be able to deliver my beer. Broken promises every time. I could have brewed my own beer faster. They are very good at giving me loads of beer tokens. Only problem is they probably won't be used in the future as they are virtual and beer hawk don't deliver beer. I am really doubting if this is a legitimate company. So my next course of action tomorrow morning will be to speak to the fraud squad. I will post my findings in due course.

Same old story as most of the other people here. Ordered an advent calendar in September, for delivery approx a month later. Got an email about delays. Then was given a tracking number after a few weeks. Delivery never happened. UKMail don't know where the order is. Have contacted Beerhawk a few times now. No response. I am now using Google to look into this as Beer Hawk is a certified shop(!), and will be talking with Amex about my order. How do companies like this survive?

Ordered in end of September with a request for delivery on 21/10....still hasn't got it - its 27th today ! I called them few times - noone answered, I emailed them twice - same thing!!! Will cancel the payment with paypal!!! Very poor customer service!!!

My experience sadly reflects that of a lot of the reviewers on this page. I ordered and paid for an advent calendar in September with delivery booked for November 1st. After numerous phonecalls, emails and direct messages my order arrived today (26th). I cannot fault the product but a business is built on more than that - the customer service and lack of logistical backup is appalling. Although individuals were unfaulting polite they either didn't have the correct information or simply told lies. For instance I was given numerous 'guaranteed' delivery dates that were not met. I was told that the beers for calendar had not arrived but could see from social media people that had ordered after me had received their items. I was told my case was extremely unusal yet I can see from the reviews here and elsewhere that it is far from unique. I will not be using beer hawk again and I cannot see how their business will last if they do not improve their service and delivery.

I ordered two beer advent calendars from your company on the 3rd November in what I assumed to be ample time for delivery before the 1st December. I heard nothing from your company. I rang numerous times and was given different information regarding delivery each time. At one stage I was told that they had been dispatched on the 15th and would be arriving imminently. I was then told that they had not been dispatched and then I was told that there was a delay on 400 orders and mine was one of them. Although I was promised calls back, no-one ever bothered. I then received an email from someone called Beth apologising and assuring me that I would receive my advent calendars by the 25th at the latest. I rang again on the 25th and spoke to yet another agency person who said she could only pass a message on as your company were not answering their calls directly at the moment. Huge let down and disappointment and not one person at Beer Hawk is interested in answering your phone or responding to emails. You are doing your company and reputation irreparable harm.

Placed my order for an advent calendar late September and specified 25 th November for delivery. Having read these reviews I wasn't holding my breath for anything arriving soon, but this morning bang on time it arrived. Delivery notification from UK mail was short notice but otherwise I am one of the few here that can say something positive about beerhawk.

I am past fuming with this waste of time company, I would of given zero stars if I could but sadly that option is not available. I placed my order through not on the highstreet and recieved an email stating I can expect my delivery on the 22.11.16 which did not show up, I then spoke to a lady that claims my order was delivered on the 21.11.16 NO IT BLOODY WELL WASN'T!! I am a carer and money is a struggle at christmas and the fact I will be working a 12 hour shift I wanted my husband to have something that would make the day a little bit easier to deal with, so thank you so much beer hawk and not on the highstreet for causing more stress. I will NEVER buy any products from either company ever again.

I ordered an beer advent calendar as part of a 40th birthday present for a colleague and paid extra for 2 day delivery, this was on the Tuesday. By Friday afternoon nothing had arrived, so rang up and spoke to James, who explained they had under estimated the demand for this product and therefore were behind on orders and I should have received an email explaining this. I didn';t!! He then explained that ALL orders were to be delivered by the latest next Friday. He did however refund the cost for the inconvenience caused. Friday arrived but NO advent calendar!! I have rang several times with promises of a phone from head office, however I am yet to receive any call. The order line aren't part of company and therefore can not access any helpful information, or give out the phone number for me to contact them directly. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY - VERY UNRELIABLE AND POOR AFTER SERVICE!!!!!!

I'll add to everyone else's complaints: advent calendar ordered in September for delivery 1 Nov. Courier had tracking number and said it was out for delivery but it never turned up. I eventually got it a week later, but it was obvious from the sound when I moved it that it contained broken glass. 8 days ago someone seemed to care enough to place another order for me and arrange for the damaged one to be collected. It was but I've never had my replacement. Now I can't get hold of anyone and no responses to emails or messages.

Absolutely appalling 'delivery' and customer service - not surprised to see so many poor reviews on here. I ordered one of their advent calendars on 21 September for delivery on my friend's birthday on 23 November. No delivery. Upon enquiry (and several phone calls later) it was discovered that EITHER it had been delivered to someone down the road on 30 September, OR that person's tracking number had been mixed up with mine. Told on 24 November a replacement would go out that day and I would get a message to that effect. Still nothing and being told I can't speak to customer service today and they might/would get back to me in 24 hours. I presume that doesn't include weekends. And the 1st December is next week, and meantime my friend hasn't had her birthday present which I ordered over 2 months ago. A complete shambles. Shocking.

Order paid for still not delivered 4-weeks later. Recommend you go elsewhere if buying a Christmas present - given my experience you may not receive in time. Awful customer service; unresponsive and seem to simply make up delivery promises - next person you speak to says no record of new delivery date - more promises - yet nothing arrives. Not to be trusted unfortunately.

Ordered beer calendar way back, was told delivery first two weeks of Nov. Then told would get it a week ago on set days, nothing. No replies to emails and phone number just goes on hold. Steer clear, glad I paid by paypal so I can get a refund.
