Not even worth the 1 star. Mattress completely caved in after 9 I repeat NINE MONTHS! Everyday my partner and I are waking up in agony due to the spingy uneven mattress. £550 we paid, hoping to get at least a few years out of it. Also warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on. Shambolic, avoid at all costs.

Do not shop at bensons ordered a bed and furniture to match in may only got mattress and wardrobe came damaged finally got the bed after loads of calls someone else order still waiting on my wardrobe doors and shelf and screws we are now out and they eont give a refund fuming stay clear.

Beware!! 9 months of failed or damaged deliveries. Paid £2550 for bedroom furniture in Dec 2018. Still waiting on a complete set of undamaged goods!! Shocking company! Should not be allowed to trade. Do not go near..I wish we hadn't!!

Worst furniture company. I went in to get bedroom furniture, it said 7-21 days delivery. After 2 months they still haven’t delivered and I asked for my money back. They advertise 1 thing and do another, I spoke to customer services and said I want compensation for wasting my time, the answer was we can’t do anything. Beware of this company, time wasters

I brought a silent night divan bed, headboard and mattress 4 and half years ago. The total cost for all 3 was £1,230 the mattress being the main expense. I brought from benson for beds and purchased the silent night bed, mattress etc because I thought both were good quality brands. I did all the turning of the mattress as instructed even though it was massive in depth and really heavy. The mattress came with a 5 year guarantee, just over a year ago the mattress began to sag badly in the middle, it just got worse and worse. Even turned it over it was completely collapsed. I dug out the paperwork and emailed them, it took 3 and half months for a response and they don’t intend on honouring the guarantee. I got nothing but excuses as to why they wouldn’t replace it. I shall never buy from benson for beds again, or a silent night mattress, very very disappointed, complete waste of money from a complete disappointment of a company. Avoid at all costs

Awful customer service. They have no standards of being able to deliver and support our vulnerable and elderly customers. Recommended trades person to install and fit and actually ended up installing incorrectly.

I will never ever order from benson for beds, got my order wrong twice, and then asked me to wait for another week to find out what’s going on. Absolutely ridiculous, please think twice before ordering a bed from them if you have a good 12 weeks to spare and orders being wrong then by all means this is the company for you!

Struggled to even give one star. After reading these reviews and also the comments on facebook, i'm glad I managed to cancel my mattress. My complaint was more about the actual staff in the East Kilbride store, mainly the manager, who were horrendous! Told continous lies and were so hostile towards us. Unprofessional to the point it made us laugh. Slightly out of pocket, however worth the hit for peace of mind our mattress is coming from elsewhere!

Took a day off work to wait in for the delivery, delivery slot came and went and was on hold with customer services for over an hour. When I eventually spoke to an advisor I was casually told my deliver had failed because the bed was not on the van. She told me she couldn't give me any further information until the driver returned to the depot, and that customer services would be shut when he returned. I was told to ring back in the morning to hopefully receive more info and arrange another delivery date. They were uninterested in my lost wages and the fact that my son now has no bed to sleep on! Never used this company before and wish that I had read the reviews first. Avoid at all costs.

Bought a mattress. It collapsed, like sleeping in a hammock after 2 weeks but they said it was ‘normal settlement’ customer service are terrible, quality is terrible. Avoid this company!!!!

Awful customer service, booked an all day delivery. Had text day before to say 7am to 1pm. Call in the morning... we'll be there between 10 and 12. Then they show up at 13.30! Called customer service absolutely no help refused to discuss or call driver to see what the hold up was as my husband's name was on the order. Rang the store... same response except she continued to read out loud the notes on the system from customer service saying I was rude! Will not recommend or use ever again!

Well.. Well.. Well.. If you have not been tracking my reviews I am the poor sod that was sold a mattress that would not fit up my stairs because it would not bend (it was so stiff).. (3 August) To recap.. Great in store salesperson. He could sell Paxo to a turkey.. My wife is disabled and we needed a firm mattress so she could sleep at night - not an excuse but a necessity. We explained what we were about, and who we were,and what we wanted - a 2 hour visit, anticipating a sale he went through it with a fine tooth comb (so we thought). He had a sale - strength 5 double sprung etc, a snip at £699, deposit of 20% (143) and the balance interest free. TWO things he conveniently forgot to mention...... (a) The strength 5 mattress we ordered is so rigid (that is the one we wanted) that it does not bend and could prove problematic with delivery (you would have thought he would have mentioned that - my wife being disabled and all). (b) The cancellation fee is IS NOT 20% of your deposit as we were led to believe it is actually 20% of YOUR ORDER VALUE (a significant difference..) You can guess the rest.. Mattress would not fit so they took it back - we cancelled the order - No refund whatsoever because our deposit amounted to 20% of the order value and not 20% of what we paid. I am out of pocket by £143 and no mattress (good job our order value was small and not a massive amount that others have posted). In between all this has been emails, letters, text messages, waiting ages to get through to customer services, rude and arrogant conversations and a total blameless attitude from them with the onus being put upon us because in our naivety about modern mattresses we should have known the technical specs and a strength 5 does not bend. And to cap it all they had the nerve to ask me to fill out a review profile of the service they provided. I sympathize with everyone who uses this review site and their experiences they have had. It is shocking and a disgrace. They are nothing more than charlatans and con artists. When you go to what is perceived as a leading player in this sector you should be entitled to be given a quality service and this bunch do not come anywhere near this. Yes I know there are other review sites that praise them but that is irrelevant, customer service is about addressing the negatives and not being dependent upon the (alleged) positives. If you want to take a chance with these people you will run the risk of your hard earned money, have stressful days and nights, arguing with your loved ones, deal with incompetence and a blazent lack of respect to others. Benson's have a serious problem and this is no joke. So.... AVOID AT ALL COSTS - YOU MAY WELL LIVE TO REGRET IT there are plenty of other retailers out there to choose from.

Terrible experience.. Sent out the TV bed without the TV. Bed is broken and still not resolved. Worst Customer service I have ever experienced. After an hour of being on hold, they hung up before even speaking to someone. Been waiting for call back for over 2 hours now. Terrible company

Absolutely awful, avoid this company at all cost! Brought a t.v bed and when it was delivered the t.v that came with it was faulty. Their customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced! Couldn’t get through to anyone for five days and when we finally did it was after being on hold for an hour!! Two weeks of constant phoning and emails before our issue was finally resolved. The waiting times for ringing their customer service is ridiculous, their response times to emails are a joke. Their customer after care is extremely poor and needs serious improvement. The whole experience with this company has been stressful, upsetting, disappointing and I regret ever buying from them.

I won't bore you with my story, but if you're tempted to buy anything off these crooks, please walk away and don't listen to their lies for your own sake. They robbed me. I wouldn't want anyone else to be conned by this lot. They promise lots, but all they'll do is fleece you and smile while they're doing it. I moan when I have a problem and compliment when I've been treated well. This lot are beyond moaning at - they want putting out of business. I've managed many businesses, but I'd be ashamed if any of my staff treated customers like this. Awful, awful, awful! I threatened to stand outside their shop telling every prospective customer how bad they were before they'd do anything and I was still robbed.

Absolutely appalling service. Expecting delivery of two beds today but got one complete but 1 with no mattress . Delivery drivers advise we should get loan mattress although we were not advised our own was not coming so we had disposed of our bed. Customer service team appalling - definitely not customer service trained. I was told I was a demanding customer expecting a mattress and I should not call clicking a finger expecting it to be resolved. Local store (Warrington Michelle) very helpful and advised there was a mattress available but this was not approved by central office. I have been told an airbed is acceptable until we receive ordered mattress although they cannot even give a date for delivery. Customer services not bothered in any shape or form about this experience. Waited on the phone for 1 hour 20 Spoke to David Burton (god love anyone else who does) and he was obnoxious to say the least. If I could score less than 1 I would
