Ordered a small double bed and headboard October..now December and 3 failed deliveries later, still no bed. Delivery 1..bed nowhere to be found, even the warehouse had no idea where it was..got the headboard though. Delivery 2..bed delivered to warehouse. A divan in 2 halves..1 half was broken and the other half was missing, however whoever accepted the delivery at the warehouse thought it was acceptable and to not chase it with manufacturers. Delivery 3..store tracking vehicle all the way..had text messages giving us a morning delivery - no sign. Spoke to store who then spoke to van.. be there at approx 2pm. At 3pm I rang store.."sorry, but I've got some bad news..the bed isn't even on the van. Van drivers knew this all along and did nothing about it. " Apparently the store suggested that it could be delivered on Dec 13th - we did not agree to this, but an email trail now exists to say that we did in fact agree to this new delivery date! Store has no direct line to warehouse, customer services or Regional manager (who we asked to speak to - nothing yet). Store had a 238 minute wait to speak to customer services! Stores have to email managers and others so they can call the store back - how ridiculous!! The customer service dept are next to useless - that's if you can get through to speak to them at all. Warehouse staff (as indicated by van drivers) load the vans, but cannot read or speak English so we, the customer, have 3 failed deliveries. I have taken 2 days annual leave to receive my delivery to no avail, and we are now waiting on the Regional manager to authorise a man in a van to drive to the warehouse, collect and hand deliver our order - not hopefull! DO NOT BUY A BED FROM THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES - ONLY GIVEN 1 STAR RATING AS THERE IS 0 STARS!! I would dearly love an explanation or an apology from other than the store, who have far more than they needed to.

Bed was not delivered today as was meant to should have been here between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. and nothing not even notifications still I have no bed and to top it off it's a replacement of the I got before as it was broken

Shocking. All I ordered was a headboard one month ago. Delivery was due on Friday Nov 30th. The driver contacted me mid morning to say they were 3.5 hours behind schedule due to a mix up with the loading of the van (what had been loaded was not what they were meant to deliver so they had to return to base). I wasn’t prepared to wait all day so they told me to ring Monday to rearrange delivery. I rearranged for Weds Dec 4th. No delivery and when trying to contact Bensons to find out what had happened there’s a message saying not able to take cells due to staff training!! This message was there all day. On ringing them the next day they told me the order had mistakenly been put on hold 😟😟. It’s now due next Wednesday. I am going to cancel the order and go elsewhere. It’s only a headboard but come on Bensons.. sort yourselves out.

Absolutely shocking company, blatantly sell poor quality wardrobes that differ to the quality ones in their showroom. Taken claim to the furniture ombudsman and they quote " that the customer wardrobes DO vary from the shop model"

I ordered a bed on 4th September but it is now 7th December 2018 and I still don't have it, nor any call backs or real help from staff - 1.5hr wait on phone and no response to emails. However, they did deliver to me 2 bed bases and frames - no headboards or foot boards tho, and they were all damaged.

Absolutely shocking customer service, 30 min wait time to talk to an advisor. I received a faulty bed six weeks ago I’m still waiting for a replacement bed. I would never use them again. I have emailed and never received a reply.

Got a new bed mattress ripped so had to replace it.thae 1 I got is rubbish compared to the first 1. It was a hawah support

How I wish I’d checked reviews / social media before buying from Bensons for Beds, almost 3 months, 1 aborted delivery(by delivery man), 1 re-delivery, 2 damaged divan drawers, 4 week+ wait for replacement drawers, only 1 drawer delivered as replacement, manifest said there should be 2, replacement drawer also damaged, 7 phone calls, endless hours of waiting on hold or waiting for call back, customer service operative who would not escalate my complaint and still not sorted. SAVE YOURSELF A BIG HEADACHE AND TAKE YOUR CUSTOM ELSEWHERE

I bought firm mattress and bed 3 years ago from benson beds with 5 years warranty. With clearly following instructions to keep rotating the mattress started feeling back pain and realised there is a clear dip on the mattress. I complained and they sent a technician who accepted that the mattress has gone soft but it’s ‘natural’ in 3 years. Based on his comments benson said that they can’t do anything. It’s surprising that if a ‘firm’ mattress is expected to go soft in 3 years than why to sell with 5 years warranty? Stay away it’s just their marketing tactics to sell but they don’t bother after selling and don’t care about warranty. Need to buy a new mattress now as I can’t sleep on this one anymore.

ordered a bed, over £2000. waited for delivery. received a text saying delivery tomorrow, and the van didn't turn up. called the warehouse to be told out of stock. took today off work to receive delivery again - driver called to say 30 minutes away. they arrive and then discover the bed isn't on the lorry, and they don't know where it is. By which time I had dragged the bases outside in the rain and mud to the garage. Warehouse says they have a stock problem, customer services phone is quoting 51 minutes wait to speak to an advisor. Terrible. Fuming and still no info as to where my bed is. £2000 plus in their account over 4 weeks now.

NO MATTRESS YET Salesperson fantastic. Very patient and not pushy. How I wish I'd read the reviews on here before my Mum of 91 parted with thousands of pounds! Old bed was taken away a week and a half ago. Bed base was delivered 2 days later as requested. The mattress hasn't been delivered a week later with no explanation or apology from the delivery side. (Salesperson has apologised). We were expecting it again today but have given up and will drive 40+ miles and back to lend her our mattress. I'm speechless. Perhaps we should get together and contact Watchdog!

Shocking customer service. Make promises they Can't keep. Staff in the shop are great, but let down by poor customer service and logistics. DO NOT BUY FROM BENSON FOR BEDS.

DO NOT BUT ANYTHING FROM THEM. Perhaps the worst customer experience I have ever received. Ordered a bed online, it didn't arrive. After one week of waiting, and then waiting and hour to get through to someone on the phone, they said that I had to phone up the third-party supplier to solve the issue myself!?!?!? I should have used a credit card. After watching Suits, I am considering a class action lawsuit and shutting them down! WHO'S WITH ME?? Just looking at the other review on this site, you know to avoid them at all costs.

Absolutely most awful customer experience ever! Firstly, they delivered bed sodden and were told 'it should be alright when it dries out'. It was a mission to try and get hold of anyone in customer service, over an hour wait time. It was agreed to be redelivered, but no timeframe given. Eventually we got a new delivery date almost 3 months after the original transaction. Today, the delivery was made without the headboard! The delivery driver told us that we had to either accept the delivery or not, would not allow us to contact customer service or contact them on our behalf. We rejected on the basis that it was only partially complete and we had no confirmation from anyone if the headboard would ever be delivered. My wife took the day off and is now left in tears! I am currently still holding for customer service after 30 minutes. Shambles...

From the minute I walked into the branch in staples corner I was harrased and found the staff totally un-proffesional and borderline sleazy. I'm here to buy a bed not be talk about my plans on the weekend. Total nonsense and a waste of my time. Not to mention one minute the bed is £100 off the next day I check online it's full price??.

I have to give one star. the customer service is really bad. for a faulty mattress, i had to go there 5 times . At the end they accepted to change it. the second mattress was a lot cheaper but there is no refund. they just charged the difference!!I would never go back to them. Always buy from john Lewis or Costco.

Bensons only delivered part of my order which I only found out when it was delivered. They had lost the other part. Did not tell me in advance and when I telephoned it took ages to get through, I was then promised a call back which did not happen, so yet further waits to get through again. This happened on several occaisions. Finally the other part was delived and Benson's were supposed to contact me to discuss compensation, but did not do so. I telephoned them and after yeat another long waith got through and asked to be phoned back by a deadline which I set this time. No call came through by the deadline. I wrote to the MD an got an emailed response which I replied to. Despite reminders still no response so I wrote again to the MD and this resulted in another email, to which I replied. On this occasion I was amazed to get a reply without further telephone calls and letters to the MD, but they are still quibbling over the amount of compensation. It also turns out that they had the wrong name on the order despite the ship staff seeing my credit card. All in all. a shocking organisations which seems to relish in tranforming an initial complaint into something worse. It as getting to the stage where i tought it would be better to sleep on the streets, ot could hardly be less damaging to my health than all the raised blood pressure dealing with such an amazingly incompetent organisation.

Good service and range. Prices are comparable to the competition. Overall a good eclxapeience. There was a lot of hard sell on the insurance, sheets etc which were stupidly expensive and totally unnecessary. But if you are savvy you will shrug this off easily. Good mattress though!

If I could put zero I would. £700 mattress and dips after first night, I sleep alone and having just come through a cancer battle weigh less than 7 Stone. Waited 50 mins for them to answer the phone and then said if I hadn’t turned the mattress it’s my own fault.... even after one night. Now going through the taken photos stage but I don’t hold out much hope. Gutted because I had saved so hard 😩
