Stay away from this store if you’re looking to buy smartphone! My story is very sad and because of the store I had a lot of hard time. I did buy two unlocked IPhones from them, with full payment in cash. No contract, no restrictions on it. I did told staff member that I travel a lot and that’s why I need unlocked IPhone which can work with any carrier in any country. That’s not my first iPhone, but it was the first time I get it not from the Apple store. So one week ago my daughter fly to Russia and replaced the SIM card with a Russian carrier, guess what we found out? The iPhone is locked!!! Can you believe it?! Apple in Russia can’t do anything about it. AT&T said they can’t unlock it because Best Bye sold me locked phone. So the manager in Best Bye from the mobile department was very ignorant and acting like what’s your problem ma’am, use a WI-FI!!! Best Buy refused to solve the problem and all they offered was IOS reinstallation and cheapest prepaid phone compensation when my daughter came back with all receipts on hand. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. Stay away if you don’t want to be in a situation like this one.

Phone warranty is a joke 1st u pay 300 then u have to pay 250 deductible for a refurbished phone that amy take up to a week to show up. So why buy a warranty if you can even repair a battery on a Samsung phone.

We were supposed to receive a new washer and dryer set yesterday. It snowed. Best Buy called to cancel. They said they would deliver the product today. Today, we got a call asking us to set up an appointment for delivery. For Thursday. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for 30 minutes & then was told there was no expected time frame for speaking to someone. I wish we had purchased elsewhere and am seeking as many opportunities as possible to share my review as I don't trust that the products I paid for will actually be delivered when they say they will.

Waited 45 minutes to get assistance. No sales associates to be found, They were all standing in the front of the store cutting up with each other. I asked for assistance and told them that i wanted to buy an ipad. They said they were short handed. Ok so i waited 30 more minutes till someone came and told me they did not have any iPads in stock. They turned around and left without asking if needed additional information or help. The website said they had some available for one hour pickup. Please hire quality employees and train them with customer service.

We are APPALLED! To be given back a hard drive and lose over 1tb of photos (our children's entire lives, our 10th anniversary trip to Italy, countless other trips and everything from our lives over the past 10-15 years) and he told it's our fault?!? The flippin thing wouldn't even plug in to our computer! "Your computer does not recognize this hard drive" How the hell could we have done something?! Then leave my wife in tears and when she walks away, your Geek Squad manager in Sarnia, Ontario says "well that one's going to be a problem!" Roll his eyes at her, call her a liar, "well, you're not putting this on us".... ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!? We are going to the top with this!! Please provide where we can make a formal complaint against the Geek Squad manager at the Sarnia, Ontario location as well as who we need to talk to in order to discuss our case! Shaun & Tara Antle

We’re on our 4th six hour wait to get a washer dryer order correct and have spent over four hours on the phone with snarky, condescending and unqualified people On the phone. I’m a 20 year Best Buy customer and will never buy anything from them again.

Love Best Buy when everything runs smoothly. Review reflects their bad customer service. While writing this review, I've been on hold with a customer service rep for 69 minutes since he first picked up my call! All he was doing was checking on the status of a payment. I got so frustrated I've canceled my order (microwave) through Best Buy and purchased through a different vendor. You lost my business because of bad customer service!

I actually like Best buy but something shady happened today. I went to the one in Ontario Ohio (Walker lake Rd) and made a purchase. They are asking for donations to St. Judges hospital, a charity that I like donating to. Today I declined a donation but the girl still put on my receipt a $10 donation. Its fine to donate but if you say no thanks and actually type it in the machine as no thanks then why was I charged? I seen the charge on my order before I was asked to donate. Again not a big deal to me but very shady. Watch your receipts. Maybe the sales person gets an incentive if customers donate.

On November 25, 2020 Best Buy Company stole from me. Blatantly,willfully and with malice by indifference. On order # BBY01-806376226186. The manager that I met with about it on December 6, 2020 really didn't care. His attitude was, "Tough luck." I got a text notice that they were taking my item to the curb for pickup, to which I replied, 'Hold for entire order pickup.' Later they said my item was picked up but it wasn't by me, and they are charging my card anyway. Now I am super careful to guard my I.D. and I really don't think they checked it when someone picked up my order. They refuse to admit any liability for releasing my order to the wrong person. Has anyone else noticed sloppy security or indifferent ID checks with curb pickup?

Just wanted to buy 3 apple I pads. 1 person in the computer dept. Waited ___ he said ask girl at door ___ she said go back some one will call your name___went back. WAITED no one called my name this SUCKS___ all I wanted was to buy them and leave __I will buy them on line and not from best buy. They suck never will go back

I ordered a router and paid extra for express shipping. The order was never delivered. After contacting customer care, they promised to ship the item again and provided an estimated delivery date. It is three days past the delivery date and the item has not been received. I paid over $250 for a product that was ordered over two weeks ago and was never delivered. I am seeking a full refund and will never order from Best Buy again.

I ordered a TV & stand to be Delivered together for my mother’s birthday. They called me the same day as the delivery. To tell me that they couldn’t deliver the stand that day but could deliver the tv. This was very unprofessional coming from a big company like (Bestbuy). In this case. They should have contact me before the delivery date to confirm any issues. Or let me know when I was making the purchase. That (Bestbuy) isn’t capable of delivery both items together on the same date. I canceled my order. I thought (Bestbuy) was better than this. A more (Sophisticated) company will take over there spot very soon.

Wow, I thought I knew the worst. Nope. Best buy broke a new record for the worst buying online experience out there. I placed my order on November 27, still NO update for delivery. Spoke with more than 10 different agents without success. They know nothing about handling costumers. To speak with a supervisor it's impossible or getting help via chat is basically a joke, or sending a complaint thru email also nonexistent. They conned numerous people into buying products on sale online without any guarantee you'll ever get the product or your money. No confirmation emails, no updates via best buy account, not a single reassurance the costumer's best interests and costumer's peace of mind. It's like giving your money for free. I learned my lesson-No more business with best buy.

If you don't know exactly what your going into the store for AND where it is located plan on spending a lot of time looking for it because you won't be able to get any employees to help you. EVEN WORSE when you call to get info. Plan on waiting 30 plus minutes to get them to answer the phone. Tried four times on different days at different time and its always the same. When I finally did get someone to answer the connection is so bad on their end you can't understand them. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!

Visited Best Buy East colonial Dr. 12/04/20 checkout receipt time 1736 I wish I could’ve give less than 1 star. This store is unorganized. The store have 1 pick up and 1check out line. I went check out line to pay my item just to find out by the Cashier that the line was suppose to be closed due to short of staff. I was ask to go back in line which Is so embarrassing, humiliating, and very insulating. I inform the staff that signs and everything need to be adjusted so people are aware.

Best Buy advertises that they will take items to be recycled such as tvs, microwave ovens, etc. When I brought my microwave to the Best Buy in Parker, CO, I was told by the "door man" that they didn't take recyclables. When I called him out for false advertising, he back paddled and said, best buy would send a truck to my house for a $100 to pick up the microwave. So, don't believe their ads. They don't take recycled items. And to make matters worse, they want to rip people off by charging $100 to pick those items up. Home Depot doesn't even charge that much for a delivery. Don't shop at Best Buy. They are dishonest and want to rip you off!

Originally placed order on November 2nd, 2020 at Reston, Virginia Best Buy store and paid for the equipment. They were supposed to deliver on November November 18th, 2020 (Wednesday) so I took day off from work. They never delivered and told me that the equipment was sent to someone else and I should talk to the store manager in Tyson to check. NOVEMBER 18th, 2020 NO SHOW NO DELIVERY NO COMMUNICATION I kept calling the store, but no one ever connected me with the manager. Finally, the Geek Squad and delivery people stated they will deliver now on November 23rd, 2020. No call no show again and I took day off from work. Happen to be those were my days in a week to go to office. No show no call. NOVEMBER 23rd, 2020 NO SHOW NO DELIVERY NO COMMUNICATION TILL END OF THE DAY Finally frustrated I called and after being on phone for two hours the person said we should cancel the order and place another order and they can deliver now on December 3rd, 2020. December 3rd, 2020 NO SHOW NO DELIVERY NO COMMUNICATION TILL END OF THE DAY Well exactly after 1 hour 58 minutes they said I have a new order number now and I be getting delivery on Dec 3rd. Waited all day till 9 PM no show no call. Next day early morning I picked a message from Geek Squad from my voicemail which was left on December 3rd, 2020 at 3:30 PM about delivery is not being made again. Waited three full days various times and no delivery. Horrible communication and system in place. Now on 12/4/2020 headed to store. Need the money back and explanation for such a poor service and communication. Let’s see. Will write to corporate office with all details. TOTALLY FRUSTRATED AND I AM GOING TO BOYCOT BESTBUY HERE AFTER AND CLOSE MY CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT AS WELL TODAY.

Best Buy refused to 'price match' on a MacBook Pro that was also being sold at a local MAC retailer for $150 less. This product has the Price Match notification. Their (very friendly, helpful otherwise) customer service rep on the phone said that they only price match against specific retailers, but the Best Buy website states: "Best Buy is dedicated to always offering the best value to our customers. We will match the price, at the time of purchase, on a Price Match Guarantee product if you find the same item at a lower price at a qualifying online retailer or at a local retail competitor's store". I found the lower price at a local retailer. And Best Buy's Details exclusion info doesn't show that my request should have been denied. I find this to be very misleading on the part of BB. I'm giving the rating 2 stars only because the customer service rep was friendly and apparently following 'policy' that he had no control over. Very disappointing!
