On the good side, the fitters were polite and efficient and did a great job, the kitchen really looks the part. However, the appliances are a bit disappointing, to the extent of getting an engineer in to look at them. The dishwasher doesn't dry the contents, and if you put plates in a rack (which is meant for plates) that sits at the front by the door, the little flap to drop the wash tablet cannot open! It is also quite noisy. The oven and grill doors don't drop to 90 degrees so you cant use them as a holding shelf to look at stuff out of the oven, and the top oven has no shelf which it should do. The fridge freezer was set too high and the top shelves are unreachable but this is being rectified. However, the freezer is extremely small and holds about half of what my old one (also a 70/30) held. It is very disappointing. I understand that you could argue that I should have found out more when the sales consultant was here, but you cant always think of everything, and I think it should be the job of the consultant to point out all capacities and workings of appliances in detail. I did ask about the height of the oven (as its a higher built in one) but didn't ask about the freezer capacity as I thought it would be similar to my old one. My last point is about the rubbish and mess left by the fitters. I realise now that I signed to say that they would take nothing, and it was pointed out to me previously that they wouldn't take the old kitchen units away, but I wasn't really aware that they wouldn't take all the packaging, and off cuts and spare panels etc from the new fit. I think that Betta living should firstly point that out more strongly, but also offer a service to take away the new fit waste that the customer pays for. On a £10K kitchen, I wouldn't have minded paying £150 or so to have it all taken away. I know this is similar to getting a skip but if Betta living could take on the ordering of it and organise the actual manual handling of waste, it would be of great benefit to most customers Im sure. The fitters also made a real mess of the drive, it was (and still is) covered in sawdust. I understand this isn't an easy way past this, but maybe some kind of plastic covering over the drive which can be folded up at the end would save a lot of time in clearing up wet mulchy sawdust later. All in all, the kitchen looks great but the functionality of it is let down somewhat by the quality of appliances. I would have been willing to pay more for better quality and capacity.

A very positive experience overall. Plus points: Overall quality of the kitchen and appliances, competitive price on kitchen units and appliances, professional service from all involved, ease and organisation of process and excellent standard of fitting. Things that could be improved: we would have liked to have purchased a granite worktop however the price was not competitive and we saved around £500 by going to a granite worktop supplier. The overall job would have been completed quicker had we not had to do this. Furthermore, the £250 referral reward needs to more clearly advertised as a gift voucher to spend on Betta Living products, as it currently gives the misleading impression of being a cash reward.

Initial information from sales person inaccurate and misleading Survey from fitting company good Fitter good but disappointed we had to remove rubbish etc The box we signed to say we would was tiny and not really pointed out to us Would probably not use you again. Used you for this as you fitted kitchen over 10 years ago and were excellent but maybe your company has changed

Service was good and as per the expectation, but they sent some wrong material and bit of small size. So,now have to deal with the support team to get the replacement. Don't know how smooth the process is going to be.

I designed my requiments. Post my design Aaron provided costs. Ilyan the surveyor measured accurately. I requested set dates for delivery & fitting. All dates were met. Lee the fitter was brilliant & so helpful.

The kitchen is grand and was fitted in 2 days not 4. There was very little hassle with it going in. My only complaint is that when the washing machine is on spin the vibration is so loud and because there is no foam or anything to take away the vibration. The plates in the cupboard next to the washing bounce so much they move about in the cupboard.

The person who I spoke to was very helpful in guiding me around the Betta Living website and even offered me some discount for being a repeat customer. Unfortunately that person did not call back as promised and due to time pressure I ordered my items straight from the website at full price. The items arrived promptly and were of very good quality and matched my existing items.

the finished product is excellent..changed the bedroom significantly..we love it. the initial visit by sales was lengthy, however all of our needs with regards to bedroom where discussed and met. however, when the surveyor visited it soon became apparent that we could not have the design that was agreed upon, considering i was not at this appointment as i was at work i had to discuss over the phone with the surveyor and my husband. this was a nightmare, and i felt let down by it, i would have rearranged however, it would have incurred an extra fee!! so i had to agree to a new design that i had not seen!

Initially we not happy that the materials were dropped off on a Thursday considering that the work was not due to commence until the Monday as this had caused us a lot of inconvenience. The solution would have been to start the work the next day. However, we are pleased with the fitted wardrobe although the dust was not contained in the room which made the hallway was messy.

I was slightly surprised that the wardrobes were delivered flat pack and had to be assembled by the fitter, at the price I paid I think I expected unit built to order and properly constructed at the factory. However our fitter Aydan has done a very good job and they feel very solid and well put together, albeit that it took 3 very long days of work to finish the installation when he told me he was only being paid for 2 days. Also, I paid £900 for installation and was told that the fitters only gets c60% of that. Where does the rest of this charge go? I have asked Betta Living for an answer but they are strangely quiet!

The bedroom furniture was fitted extremely well by Richard and Michael Pearce. They worked extremely hard and the overall look is great. The customer service team who we dealt with once ordered were so helpful and professional (particularly Karen Lund). However, the selling technique is a lot to be desired. Sales/Surveyors were pleasant people but the way in which the product is sold is not pleasant. The salesman was at our house one evening for a total of 5.5 hours! to discuss two bedrooms furniture. The price we were originally told was obviously not the price at all as we negotiated downwards. However, we do feel that the price we paid was extremely overpriced. Betta Living should give one price - the true price and stop the phoning 'the boss' to see what discounts can be given. They would probably sell more, without the hard sale, at a sensible price and the customers would not be left with a bad taste in their mouth.

B62959 Lowry. Bedrooms look great, good quality and well put together. Fitters ken and tommy were brill, worked hard and stayed late to get everything finished. One draw was damaged on the corner during delivery they did a great temporary fix and arranged for delivery of a replacment which was refitted. 4star given instead of 5 as not sure the designer quite gave us what we wanted, seem the have less storage then before! But looks great and fitted well.

Front line staff in Cannock excellent Designer excellent (Jonny Taylor) Surveyor excellent (Mark Hewkin) Delivery average, items short Fitter excellent (John) General comments The experience with Betta living has been good and we would recommend to others. From customer service to fitting was very good. The only issue we had was over a pull out larder. we ordered a pull out and it was on our paperwork, however a fixed shelve unit was delivered and fitted. My wife who is the most gentle person queried it with a senior member of you team and he was rude to her and it has spoilt it. He took no responsibility, telling my wife that he works from his paperwork "talk to the designer about it and tell him to send me an email"; hardly professional The issue has been resolved although the job is not yet complete, plinth and larder unit to be fitted

The design process is a bit laborious (and time consuming) as the designer still works with pencil and paper, it is now 2015 and I thought they would have an app for that. Apart from the above, the customer communication and service is very good, equally the fitting.
