I contacted this company for a new kitchen and bedroom wardrobes. Their rep (Ray) came round and was so patronising, argumentative, rude, judgemental the list could go on for words. He wasn't helpful or even creative what so ever and just a pushy salesman really trying to get a sale. We was told it would take about 2 hours but he was still in our house after 3hours despite us saying that we had other commitments that day and would need to hurry things up. I practically had to push him out - was a horrible experience and even though I did like their products I would not buy with them soley for the reason of the salesmans behaviour towards us. he needs to be not allowed in other peoples homes if he is to behave in such a way. I did put a complaint to the company but heard nothing back!

We have just had a Betta Living kitchen fitted. We are very happy with the finished installation. The people from Betta Living were very helpful and efficient, the fitters - Paul, Scott and Rob were very efficient with tremendous attention to detail and quality. we can not commend Paul and Scott highly enough and based on our experience would recommend Betta Living to any one. I have just called Betta Living asking for an idea of unit pricing (i.e. Which cupboards are low, mid and high range). The gentleman on the other end of the line kept repeating that he couldn't give me this information as he wasn't trained. I asked him to indicate the pricing levels for a basic 600mm base unit. Again, no idea. I came off the phone disappointed and checked the reviews. After reading these I will not be getting a price from them. A shame as their brochure looks very professional.

Excellent service from start to finish. I've just had a kitchen fitted and couldn't be more pleased with it. From the girls in the Stockport showroom, James the surveyor to the fitters Barry & Daniel. They were all very professional, polite and willing to help. I'll be using them again in future that's for sure and would recommend Betta Living to anyone. Thanks to all who helped make it such a smooth process.

Thanks for all the reviews. i made an appointment today to see the kitchen designer planner and then followed by intuition to look at the company reviews. Thank goodness I did. I phoned the company to cancel the appt and when questioned I told them that I had read their poor reviews. The guy on the phone seemed surprised! I also emailed them and they didn't reply. I think I have had a very lucky escape!!

My experience with Betta Living has been disappointing from the start. I am now very relieved that I did not choose Betta Living. I was looking for a built-in wardrobe and contacted various companies for quotes. Betta Living came first and sent their 'Designer' to come and provide details. The designer was very insistent that he wasn't on commission, had already been paid and was working for our benefit rather than Betta Living. I thought that sounded too good to be true and I was right. The quote provided for a 3-metre long wardrobe across one wall, with sliding doors, made from MDF with a wooden veneer (and nothing fancy) was £12,000. When my expression betrayed my shock, the designer told me not to worry - since nobody ever pays the asking price. I told him his price was ridiculous and that my expectation was around the £3000 (I ended up going with Hammonds, for roughly £2500). He then got on the phone with his manager to discuss what they could do for me. Miraculously the price had come down to £2990. When I enquired how this had happened from £12,000 I was not given a satisfactory answer and the designer suggested I talk to his manager. Eventually I got the designer to leave. The whole experience was awkward and unprofessional. I thought that would be the end of it, but then the Betta Living call centre started calling. Only occasionally at first, but now nearly two months later I'm receiving multiple calls a week from their call centre. Each time they ask me if I'm interested in their services, or another quote. Every time I tell them I'm not interested and to remove me from their system. I just received another call today, having told them three times in the last week to remove me and having been assured twice that my details would be removed. I have now taken to blocking them on my phone. My advice: Don't choose Betta Living. Don't even give your contact details to Betta Living. Avoid them. There are plenty of other companies offering comparable services with much better sales people and none of this call centre madness.

A year after complaining about by bowing units (the large larder units bow, theres nothing they can do about it) they finally sent someone over to have a look at them. Only for him to say that it was because we had overloaded them even tho the larder was bowing outwards no inwards. They then sent a replacement which was shorter than the original. So i was left with a larder unit with no doors (as the doors were too large) and which was smaller than the rest of my kitchen. Took them another few months to sort the issue out. On top of that they expected me to dispose of the 'faulty larder' unit and the wrong one. It was only after I tweeted a picture of how the fitters left the rubbish that they decided to collect it. Worst customer service ever. If something goes wrong you will be banging your head against the wall trying to get these guys to sort out the issue.

Just had fitted wardrobes done in our bedroom.from the start of the process by the planner roz to the end by the fitting of them from Martin was brilliant.very pleased with the end product.(mr Grocott-stoke on Trent)

Ray fitted three bedroom wardrobes this week. I am absolutely delighted, as are my husband and 20 year-old son. Two of the rooms are tiny, but the wardrobes have been cleverly designed to maximise the space and now both rooms look bigger. The quality of the products is excellent, but the quality of the fitting service is fantastic. Thank you Ray!

We ordered a kitchen from Betta Living and I have never been so disgusted with the way this company treat its customers. Customer Services are non existent. There is always someone leaving the company and nobody every gets back to you. When the kitchen was fitted the Fitter was awful. He left electrics in a dangerous situation and the fitting overall was the worse nightmare for quality. I had to get another completely different Fitter to come and make good the bad job that had been done. Absolutely awful company. I would never recommend this compancy at all.

Hi, My name is Mark and I live in Castleford, my wife and I have just had our bathroom installed by Terry, one of Betta Living's installers. Terry was great, the bathroom is superb, just what we ordered. His workmanship and personalty were first class, he did a great job.

Arranged a design visit, the day before the visit a person called Sherif called to confirm the appointment. I when I told him my father was going to be there instead of me, he gave me 50 reasons why they can not come out. He said we need to meet the owner, I said he is the owner. He then said we need to meet with someone who knows what they want in the design, I said he fully knows what is happening. Ended up canceling the appointment as he clearly wasn't bothered about helping or coming out to the design visit! Rude and very unprofessional!!

My kitchen so far has taken over three weeks after being told by the sales man it would take five days. Every thing that should have happened went totally wrong. I have to say the cost was a great deal of money paying a lot up front, thinking that you only get what you pay for.... Wrong....when the kitchen was ripped out I was left with no fresh water tap, when I complained they fixed taps the next evening and I was told it was a good will gesture. Had the walls plastered after the units were removed thinking it would help, no a total waste of money, the walls were chiseled for electric cables. Now the surveyor should have known this because he was at my house from 3pm to 10pm sorting things out. So, then I had to pay again for re plastering. Ordered Onyx work tops that take a while to make, they arrived, wrong size. Lost my freezer full of food as electics were switched off. I spoke to the Installation manager and he said he would reimburse me for the lost food.

BEWARE and hope that you never have to use their guarantee .a door warped on my new kitchen within the guarantee period .The doors had been discontinued and not now produced even though it was guaranteed for 5years there fore their only solution was to provide different doors for the whole kitchen for which I would have to pay The installation manager was unhelpful and it took me 4 visits to the showroom and numerous telephone calls .IWould certainly never recommend Beta LIving to anyone and advise them to steer clear of this firm

My kitchen got done today toke them four weeks to complete , Mr Lenny who was my insulation manager was not helpful man , we had to clean all our cup, plates and everything in the upstairs bathroom, do you think this is right thing to do when we have paid all the money upfront.

Brought a £7000 kitchen in 2013, in 2014 all the trim around the doors was coming off! Called betta living over a 100 times they were suppose to replace all doors! It's is now April 2015 still waiting for fitter to finish which has taken him 8 times to come back! Very very disappointed with kitchen and service! Newly married couple finishing off there dream home and kitchen has been a nightmare!

We were having our kitchen fitted to last into our retirement.We had our quote which i felt was really expensive but i was a believer that you get what you pay for i was wrong in this instance.The sales man advised us not to have preparation work done by betta living and rang a builder to come and give us a quote on the plastering that was a further £1200 on top of the £15000 and that was sale price of 60% off plus another 205 on top if we agreed before the end of January.This has been the biggest disappointment of my life.The plaster has since dropped off the walls.A damaged door took over 8 months to to replace.The fitter did not turn up on the day arranged and my dogs were in the kennels for 2 weeks that was £140 which was never reimbursed.The Hippo bag remained outside of our property for 3 weeks and we had problems organising the removal of that.The lights did not match and were of different shade of white.The plinth lighting still does not work properly and despite numerous phone calls no joy with that.We also had a bathroom fitted again the fitter never turned up problems with hippo bag we have had problems with the mirror cabinet and also had 2 extractor fans with in 6 months.The house was still full of tiles and bits and pieces for months and in the end nobody came to take which was obviously very expensive tiles and other stufff.What a shambles stay away from this company if you want a well co-ordinated top quality job

We had our kitchen designed and fitted by this company and we are over the moon with it. I first went into the showroom in Bromborough Wirral in October 14 and was quite anxious as I wanted the job completed before Christmas. I needn't have worried as things moved very quickly from start to finish. The design consultant came within two days of enquiry and involved both my husband and I on building our perfect kitchen. Four weeks later our kitchen was delivered and on the same day our kitchen fitter, Gary arrived. It was a big job as the situation of sink & cooker was being moved to a completely different area of kitchen & although we had to arrange our own plumber for this, all moved very smoothly. Our kitchen fitter, Gary was excellent, offered great advice with fantastic workmanship. The kitchen was fitted in a week and I feel it is the best purchase I have made for our home. I would definitely recommend Betta Living and thank the company for providing our dream kitchen.
