I received the wrong set of close up lenses, I spoke with three different people two of which said I could keep these and they would send out the correct ones but when I get transferred to "customer service" I'm told they won't send them out until they get the original lenses back and it may be two or three days after they get them. So I have to print out rma labels and take the package to a fedex drop off which is not anywhere close to my house and wait another week or more for my correct item, I don't thinks so, refunded, I'll buy from someone else. You should too.

I love ordering from BH internationally. Sometimes the items (RRS) are not available in my country and BH will stock them. BH takes care of all the messy import duties.

B&H has apparently followed the trend in permitting sociopaths run its Customer Service department. I ordered a camera on a Wednesday, with “free expdited shipping” touted on the webpage for the camera, and with the promise of its arriving that Friday if I’d order withing the next six hours. Before the end of Wednesday, I received a notification of the camera’s having been sent out - but also telling me that its expected day of arrival was Monday. The mode of shipping was cited as “standard,” not “expedited.” I bought this to the attention of Customer Service, and only after considerable back-and-forth did someone finally admit that B&H’s shipping department had made a mistake. My having been promised the camera’s arrival on Friday was part of the terms of sale, and of my conditions for purchasing it. I wasn’t being demanding and persnickety about it - I have a very tight personal schedule. The last message that I received from a CSR included the rationalization (lame consolation) that “it’s still only three business days” for the delivery. Five calendar, real-life, days. If Adorama had had that camera in stock, I’d have bought it from Adorama, who do customer service and shipping right.

Awful experience. Placed an order and then received an email that the billing address was wrong. Have used that same billing address many times in the past no problems, and the charge showed on my statement. I emailed back for them to try a different address. No reply. So I called and spoke to two people who both sounded like zombies. One guy in the "verification department" didn't give his name and then proceeds to huff and puff over the phone like he's trying to tell me I'm wasting his time. I remain polite and courteous, however, and eventually he tells me he needs to place me on a hold. He then leaves me on the line for 15 minutes, before the phone system prompts me to leave a voicemail. Come to find out he canceled the order immediately after placing me on hold. Don't believe the fake 5 star reviews, this company is clearly not deserving of anyone's business.

I paid $4,000 for a purchase (which they immediately charged onto my card) after they confirmed 2 were in stock and said it would ship later that day. The next day, still not shipped. They assured me they had stock and it would ship later that day. But nothing shipped. 2 days layer, they again assured me they had stock and would ship later that day, to arrive tomorrow. That night, they informed me they had no stock and it was backordered with no idea of date. Stay away from B&H unless you enjoy being lied to. Very fraudulent practices to charge my card and string me along when they knew they had no inventory to ship.

Buyer beware!! B&H cancelled my order than refunded me less $. Stay away from these unprofessional crooks. They will blame you for nonexistent things than make you pay for it.

Sold me a Samsung phone that was NOT designed for use in the US. This has limited the features that are available on the phone. If you are going to charge me the same exact price, and I am buying a phone IN the US to use in the US, selling me an out of country phone is NOT acceptable,. Will not trust BH Photo ever again.

Brian Markman at B&HPhotoVideo, wasn't nice nor was he helpful. Didn't help and was rude otherwise unprofessional .. Having been in the city for many years, have ordered from this merchant for (a long time). When problems occur Brian is the first to play victim and appeal to the responsibility of his firm. Sick of this guy! Would like a staff member to help please and thank you. Needed help with my order; nothing has been resolved yet. Problem: 1.) I was always told B&H Photo-Video was THE go-to store for camera equipment. WRONG. Throughout my very 1st major buy from B&H, I experienced one of the most frustrating, screwed up, incompetence-riddled, drawn out experiences of my life. It started when I made a fairly large purchase of about $2,000. Two of the cameras seemed like they had been opened, so I returned them: 2 Olympus TG-6 waterproof cameras—1 black & 1 red. The refund to my credit card for the purchase of the black one went off w/o a problem….. However, regarding the red one, as of today (date 9/2/21), the money for that camera has YET to be refunded to my credit card—although it was received by B&H nearly three weeks ago (8/16/21). I have made about 20 phone calls to B&H. And each time I’ve been told: “there’s a problem of some kind, I’ll have to check” (no callback), “It should be coming soon,” “Definitely within the next 48 hours,” “that’s still in process,” etc. etc. etc. etc. For nearly 2 wks, the camera wasn’t even showing as having been returned. I called multiple times & no one knew what was going on. Finally, I found out that although FedEx had indeed delivered it (signed for), B&H apparently LOST the camera/package somewhere between the shipping dept. & the returns dept. And I only found this out after 2 wks when they FINALLY informed me that I needed to sign an “Affidavit” to be emailed to me, which would declare that I had indeed returned the camera (even though FedEx was showing that it had been delivered). Then came the comedic farce involving me actually receiving (or rather, never receiving) the “Affidavit” via email. • When I called on Fri. 8/27, I was told it would be sent by Sun 8/29. —never came. • When I called on Monday 8/30, I was told it would be sent by the end of the day. —never came. • When I called on Wednesday 9/1, I was told by the CS rep that no one knew why the “Affidavit” hadn’t been sent out to me, but that it would “definitely” be sent to me by the end of the day because that CS rep was going to personally walk over to that dept. & have them send it. —never came. • When I called on Thursday 9/2, I was told that there had been some confusion over the RED camera vs the BLACK camera. They saw that the BLACK camera had been refunded, so no one bothered to send me any Affidavit for the other camera. I was then told FOR SURE that it would be taken care…… But it’d still take another 48-hours (or “maybe just 24-hours”), to get the Affidavit sent to me. Then, once they received that back & had reviewed it, the refund process would be started. But actually getting the refund credited would take another 7-10 business days……. ARE YOU #@^#%# kidding me? SO, now I’ve had to file a “stop payment” fraud investigation “payment dispute” with my credit card company!!! Now B&H can deal with them. I’m done. What’s really shocking is that I TOLD the CS rep that I was going to do file such a complaint with my credit card company and if they didn’t want that to happen, then a manager could call me back to resolve it ASAP. —no one has called. GET YOUR CAMERA EQUIPMENT SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN B&H, which apparently, I now know, stands for Bull****&Hassle. I’M NEVER BUYING FROM THEM AGAIN (But at least I’ve been getting 3-4 email marketing/advertising announcements from them every day).

When I ordered a product from B&H Photo that didn't work, I asked the manager for a refund, and he mentioned the no refund policy. I explained to him that the product didn't work, forcing me to buy the product somewhere else as well, the manager wasn't understanding at all....in fact he was kind of rude about it. I'm NOT EVEN MAD ABOUT NOT GETTING A REFUND, BUT BY HOW THE MANAGER TREATED ME WHEN I ASKED FOR ONE. That manager should think about his approach and how he comes across before responding to a customer’s concern. I was polite the way I presented myself, he should’ve done the same.... especially at a CUSTOMER SERVICE job.

They use FedEx for shipping with a signature required. FedEx driver refuses to leave the package in a Luxer box of take it to reception desk for a signature. Therefore, I paid for a product that cannot be delivered. B&H refuses to change the shipping instructions with FedEx, so the product is returned as undeliverable.

Terrible customer service! They will hang onto your money for dear life, before they ever let it go to make things right! This is a shady, greedy place! They have ripped me out of thousands of dollars, and to date, I still can’t get them to actually deal with the problem. Seriously, USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY!

I am very disappointed in B&H Photo Video bhphotovideo.com. I placed an order on May 27th for a 100 spindle of DVD-R 4.7 GB 8X disks. On June 9th I received my order (13 days later) The item received was for 16X Disks. I immediately went online and Chatted with both Luke and then Covington and was assured that the correct product would be shipped out to me asap. I told them both that on their website the 8x and the 16x had the same UPC code so someone needed to put visual on the label and make sure the 8x was sent out to me. Yesterday June 13 (4 Days Later) I received another package with the wrong item 16x again. I immediately sign on to Chat (calling hold time is like 39 minutes) Chat is shorter. I speak to Luke again. Bring to his attention again the errors on the UPC Code and explain to him that now I have lost 17 days and I have a project due. He says how sorry he is and that they will try their best to get me my new product shipped out so I can receive it by Tuesday June 15 and not miss my deadline. Guess what - at 3:00 a.m. this morning I get an e-mail stating my order had been cancelled and my original order funds refunded. I chatted with them again today and was told by Ken there was nothing they could do even though their website shows the item I needed to be in stock and ready for shipment. If you don't care when or if you ever get your products then order from this company, but I will never order from this company again.

BH will not cancel our order that went out of stock. I was forced to wait till item becomes available. Now that the item was available and shipped, it's taken more than 2 weeks. It's still under shipment. I still haven't received item while writing this review. We spend thousands of dollars every year upgrading our equipment. Now I know where NOT to go.

BAD BAD VERY BAD I order a computer (Mac Book Pro 16") for $2800. B&H sends the product in a VERY flimsy box that was easily STOLEN at some point in the Fedex delivery cycle. What does B&H do? NOTHING? Head in the sand. Denial. No communication. I finally had to go to VISA to reverse the $2800 charge. I then went and got the same computer from COSTCO ($200 cheaper and no BS B&H customer service). Instead of owning up, B&H convinces VISA that they shipped the package. B&H then leaves ME to get reimbursement from FEDEX (but I am not the FEDEX client - B&H is the FEDEX client - so I cannot even file for the amount of the computer) My advice? RUN from this company - DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS. I am telling this to every New Yorker that I know. I am now STUCK with a double charge for a single computer - all due to B&H's bad business practices, inability to address their stolen computer and disgusting consumer (total lack of) courtesy. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE INCOMPETENT WILLIES!!! THEY RUN AND HIDE WHEN THEY SCREW UP. INCOMPETENT! THIS IS A BAD BUSINESS!
