“I agree have been told replacement is coming but never received and have seen them in stores. I also ended up by another brand so I could make my smoothies it’s a shame they are allowed to continue to profit from sales”
“These are nasty. I am returning mine to Walmart and getting a blender that has a off on button and will gladly Pau more for something that works. It takes 10 minutes to get it to work as there are various when you attempt to get it to work none of which is the blend button. I can read instructions and it does not work until you mess with it for 10 minutes and then by chance it turns on. The ice cream is already liquid by that time. Save yourself frustration spend more money and get something with an on off button.”
“I sent back my BlendJet due to their recall back in February. It is now August and I do not have a replacement. Lots of excuses given but none that are acceptable. Very poor service.”
“Well no surprise that my poor review echoes pretty much what everyone else is saying here too...Absolutely shocking and unacceptable conduct by BlendJet. I too destroyed the rubber part of my BlendJet due to the global recall, warranting it useless, and over 6 months on I've still not received a replacement. Along with receiving vague emails saying the same thing - we're a small business, supply chain issues, and we can't guarantee when your replacement will be shipped (at this point I'm feeling like it's more a case of "IF", especially since I'm based in the UK). As an existing customer who has more than patiently waited (again, like MANY others), I continue to receive regular promotional emails from BlendJet with offers and new product launches whilst they can't even fulfil replacements for THEIR recall. Beyond disappointed and angry.”
“Followed recall request in January still no replacement in August. Get fobed off with excuses that there is shortage for product for replacement. 6 months on and still no info or replacement of blender.”
“Like all the others here I am stuck in the run-around game regarding the replacement of 3 blend jets I purchased. I looked into filing a complaint with the BBB as thousands have already done. After reading the ones already posted it seems like the responses are the same pandering “supply chain” and “shipping” issues and “thank you for your patience” that I have already received when I reached out twice to Blend Jet customer service. I suspect they are having to sell as many new units as they can to pay for the ones they need to replace. Seems to me that a company should have to reserve a percentage of their profits to take care if these type of issues. But that would make too much sense wouldn’t it?”
“What am I supposed to do to get my recall replacement?
I have followed instructions provided to submit a replacement following the recall in February and today is almost August and still nothing!
I have zero communication from the company, nothing like "Hey, btw, we are still in process, you are on our list", nothing like that. Why do I have to wait for 6 months and contact the company myself since it is their fault that this happened?!
Not just the company left me with no blender for half a year, they don't even reach out to me let me know what is going on with my replacement!”
“I feel like I got scammed by their recall. They ask me to destroy the piece I have so they will send a replacement piece. well, it's been more than 3 months I didn't receive anything from them, so I ended up buying a new blender from another brand because I need it at the gym. be careful when you deal with them”
“Recalled my BlendJet2 - same experience as the others. Just terrifying. Filled out the form and I'm now 7 months in without a replacement. They refuse to refund. They keep selling them online but will not replace mine which I've already paid them for. AWFUL!”
“Cut up the seal, sent photo and returned my base as requested in Feb 2024 but still waiting for a replacement! I cannot believe new ones are being sold when you are not honouring your previous customers! I really liked the product and wish I’d taken my chances on it catching fire and kept it! “Similar to other clients when their recall notice came I followed all their various directions. It is now 7 months later and no replacement blend jet. I have reached out several times and get the same pathetic answer they are awaiting parts. Honestly I'm disgusted, and why are you not sending your clients one of your "in stock" units that you are happy to sell to new customers. If I could rate this as a zero I would.”
“I had a blendjet that worked fine and then they recalled it
After about 8 weels I received another. I didnt use it for a month then I pumlled it out of the box and tried to start it. IT DID NOT WORK
I emailed the company and told them . They sent an email back asking for a.video and the serial number. I sent it back expecting some results. NOTHING. They said it was out of warranty after a few months. I sent them back saying how.disgusting that was. The product is poor quality and the customer service SUCKS. Do not buy this product. By a Ninja or something else”
“An awful product. This product works maybe 5% of the time. It always gets stuck and i end up taking all the fruit out and puting it into another blender.”
“Submitted my recall request and received confirmation on January 19th. Still no replacement with canned email responses about unforseen issues. No ETA can be provided however I get emails at least weekly about new products. Terrible treatment of current customers.”
“I responded to the Blendjet recall in Feb 2024, having only bought it a short time before, so as I could make fresh smoothies because I was unable to eat due to my cancer. Still no replacement or refund in July. Just the usual 'we're doing our best' platitudes. And now my oncologist has given me weeks to live. Thanks Blendjet. Great customer service.”
“I received an email in Jan, 24 telling me that my Blendjet blade/motor was being recalled. I filled out the form online and sent pictures of the cut up sealant ring and then I discarded the base because that it what instructions said to do. After not hearing anything from the company for a couple of months , I filled out the form online again. I have now also sent several emails and have been getting a response that they will respond in 72 hrs. That is laughable. I have still not heard anything from them. I the meantime, I am unable to use the Blendjet that I originally purchased because I don't have the parts for it. Very frustrating and brutal customer service
After I wrote a review, Blendjet replied that are in the process of sending out the bases but another 1.5 months has passed and not base. I am sure they are still selling new units to new customers. What about the customers who they sold faulty bases to?? Send out new Blendjets if need be. Do not buy from this company!!”
“Recall on a part. BlendJet said to destroy the dangerous part, fill out a form, and a replacement would be sent. I have waited over 6 months, no replacement received. Inquiries sent to BlendJet, message back states they are a small company, can't get parts, etc., yet they are selling them at their online site! Unbelievable!”
