Been on hold now for 43min... Grrrrr!! No internet service at all.. Worst customer service ever!!

Most Unscrupulous Exploitative Network Ever!!!! Worst network. Do not join this broadband or mobile network. They appear to be very good initially but they operate at a very unscrupulous exploitative level. They will fix you into a contract and will have you pay for a speed that you very rarely if ever get. Then, after your fixed term runs out, they start bombarding you with bi-annual unjustifiable price increases, and when you threaten to leave them, they offer you a "discount", which seems nice at first, but after a couple of years with this network provider you realise that you have to spend approx 45 minutes every six months on the phone with these morons to stop them from extorting you. Just cancelled my broadband and mobile. Never again!!!!!

Why isn't it possible to leave a zero? This company is the absolute worst pile of excrement I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I dreaded making calls to them because they never understand what you are calling for - the language barrier is extremely hard to navigate, considering they have the majority of their call centres overseas. They overcharge/charge for random things, but woe betide you if you try to resolve it. I'd imagine I'm somewhere around £300 out of pocket for constant errors you cannot resolve. You can ring & get one result, but call about the same issue & get a completely contradictory response, usually resulting in them trying to charge you again. I have never once had a decent experience with them, and am so glad I left for Sky. I tried to contact the complaints department and the contact box never even transferred to an agent! It's appalling that such a huge company would have 0.4/10 & not do a single thing to resolve it - tells you all you need to know about their customer care vs money grabbing. Eurgh, they've been an absolute nightmare from start to finish, & by the end I was paying £10 extra for a bill than the deal I initially signed up for & was 'guaranteed' indefinitely. I used the company for various different products, but I have since changed every single one, and could not be happier with the choice. Trust the negative reviews, they are completely accurate!

Their customer service is none existent their technical support people have no or very little knowledge on the virgin media hub 3.0 worst customer service ever.

Came to them from sky as they offered 3 months free broadband deal (£25 a month).. only for them to say they know nothing about the deal and to not honour it. First bill over £90 (and took them 2 weeks to get my broadband activated as the first engineer couldn’t be bothered to connect me so left us without it - but still paying). No compensation- just someone in India not understanding why I’m so unhappy.

Customer services is the most appalling ever. When the services work they work really well but when you have to call customer services you will be sorry you went with them. I tried calling them my whole morning was wasted tried to chase a real person over the phone and they dont call back and your stuck.

I was with Virgin Media for around 6-7 years. There were various issues that never got fixed despite complaining to the customer service. I ended up fixing them myself. Laying that aside, it was a very fast and stable LAN network. The reason for the bad review is that I've moved to detached house and there is no VM's fibre going to that house. I was told that they will send an engineer who will inspect it to see if there's a way to run a cable from our next door neighbor. Engineer arrived and stated that due to budget issues VM would only be run to the edge of my garden where they will create an access point. This, I was told, will take approx. 4-6 weeks. I've couple numerous times throughout the 4-6 weeks period only to discover yesterday (19 of August 2019) that no service will be provided as the budget won't allow it. I was without Internet for a month just to be told this. I'm like why the hell haven't you told me that from the beginning? VM's Customer service is a joke.

Been with VM 12 years, just got my bill and it has gone up £11 a month more, that's £57.50 for the lowest package, which I think is a disgrace. I phoned them when I got through, only to be told they cudn't help me and that would be the price, so goodbye Virgin Media, don't go with them.

Avoid Virgin Media like the plague. Their customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Regular 40 minute waits to speak to somebody and when you do they go out of their way to be as unhelpful as possible. Mr Branson these guys are severely damaging your brand.

Customer service representatives are vile and very rude! Not helpful and try to increase the price during a 12 month contract from £50 to £78!! Avoid at all costs, horrible people, terrible service and rubbish tv and broadband. Wifi isn't what its meant to be, always going on and off, tv doesnt record correctly and overall rubbish!! They also take up to an hour to answer the phone (if they answer) and they are not helpful at all! Bad job virgin! Robbing b@**@*ds.

Took 4 days to actually get through to the. In line for 15 mins and guess what through to Indian spoke to woman less than 2 mins. She then decided to patch me off to someone else so I was on hold again for 17 mins . Absolutely disgusted. No WiFi for days I asked just send me out a new router. No they do that

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I am sitting here a month after giving VM notice of leaving and still they are messing me about I have contacted them 6 times over that month to tell them I am leaving and now still they say after all that time there is an issue, so my advice to anybody would be DO NOT USE VM !!!

Virgin media doesn’t care I have had one of the worst experience with this virgin media company. I called them 3 times in 2 weeks and they said an engineer will call and come but no one called. Now when I called them the call centre team and manager said , the service is not available on that postcode. The annoying part is that they are providing service just next door. And not in new build house where I am based.

I wouldn't give one Star! Avoid these ( if not already a victim). The Broadband is awful, been like it for months on an off, after a large number of complaints I get no help! All they care about is payment. I have Cancelled 3 TIMES! And still not honoured! These really are crooks and need looking into. JUST AVOID!!!

- The customer service agent has a poor product knowledge - 80% of customer service agents are rude and arrogant - Guranteed waiting time on the customer service phone line is 18 minutes and upwards - When I cancelled my order they could not produce a written conformation - When I chose the option to leave their service on the customer service line, the phone was cut off immediately, I suspect it was a deliberate design to prevent customer from leaving i.e. if you lost patience then it will live you with no choice but to stay with them. - Because of he poor customer service experience, I decided not to proceed with the order. I don't have confidence in them.

Received an email from virgin media telling me my bill will increase in oct by £3.50. I have just rang virgin at 7.30pm and explained to them im on a fixed contract for 18 month. They told me they don't do 18 month contracts but in the terms and conditions it states they do so they have lied to me there. When I signed up to virgin media broadband the sales rep stated to me that it was a 18 month contract for vivid 350. Now they are telling me its only a 12 month contract but that's not what I signed up to. As I have a £7 loyalty bonus which I have for 18 months which runs along side the 18 month contract what the sales rep told me so there for the sales reps are lying to customers and obtaining their money though deception which is fraud. Virgin media are an utter disgrace.
