Virgin media, very very poor. Charge a lot and always add price increases. If you are a new customer they offer you the world. However once a customer they royally shaft you. Avoid and go to Sky, they appear to understand what customer service means.

Just phoned Virgin media to upgrade to include the Bigger TV package only to be told I will have to pay £99 more than a new customer??? Been with them for over 15 years, obviously customer loyalty means very little. All I can say is Hello SKY.

Simple questions asked about their current deals, so I know whether it’s worth waiting for their engineer to come out and confirm whether we are able to have fibre broadband in our area. (We had just moved to a new property) My questions were perfectly valid, as they have black Friday deals on at the moment, with cash back options, and so do many other providers. I am shopping around as it is my right as a consumer, and of course I will try to find the best value for money. Rosey via the webchat was incredibly condescending, unprofessional and rude. One of responses was “you need to be patient with us before you take advantage of our deals. Alright?” And then she left the chat without saying anything else. I was not impatient, and I wasn’t at all rude, I was just making an enquiry. But I’ll take my business elsewhere then, shall I. :) So glad I experienced the appalling customer service before I joined! Thanks Rosey, if your colleagues are half as bad at their jobs as you are, you have actually saved me a lot of headache.

Home phone line out of order promised technician would come out in 24 hours, failed to appear . following call that was chargeable now been told they will be out in 5 days. Been with virgin for 34 years.

Virgin Media is a joke they told my wife and me if we stayed with them they would give us a great deal they said the best package was oomph bundle they was doing it for new customers £99 a month for 12 month contract and they get a new tv as well they told us we could have the same deal but with out the tv as its was only for new customers that's fine with me but when I get told that then get made to pay £110 with out a tv what a joke and I'm loyal and stayed with them just to be ripped off big time I would say to anyone that what's good deals stay away from virgin media sky takes very good care of the customers my dad is Platinum loyal customer with sky the only thing he only gets 80 megabytes and I get 500 with virgin Media my dad pays £70 and I have to pay £110 and then goes to £140 my dads one dose not go up at all only at April when everything goes up

Absolutely pathetic customer service. They put you on hold for quite a long time. Rather than trying to fix or help to fix the issue, they pass the call from one team to another , keeping you waiting for long time. Sometimes , you wait for more than hour. Take long time to respond. Please have a live chat feature to make it less painful for customers.

Terrible customer service. Wait for hours on hold only to be passed from department to department, none of which can resolve the issues. Promise after promise to resolve matters, and then they hang up on you before resolving the issue. This could be forgiven if it was a 'one off', but after three separate occasions it is very clearly Virgin Media policy to ignore customer complaints. When it works (down yet again) the Broadband speed appears ok, up until around 3pm after which it is average at best - super fast it is not! Black Friday deals....going back to SKY. Do not use Virgin Media! All talk and no delivery. Rubbish! And customer service is worse than rubbish - it is disgraceful.

Used to be 5/5 but have gone downhill. If I call with a problem I never get the help I need. In fact I find the customer forum members much more helpful

Very dishonest company don’t trust them as they say bunch of lie when you join them and after that they just say sorry there’s nothing we can do! Very disappointed ☹️

Takes ages for them to answer phone calls. Spike up bills and different answers from different people when calls answered. Eventually decided to leave them

Except speed of broadband all else is nothing but a headache. Their free offers are a trap- you will have trouble when attempting to downgrade as they c/s will answer from 30-40 minutes. Cancellation require 1 month’s notice ( before the billing date).

I have been with other internet providers which have been much more interested in the client and involved with them and their issues regarding the broadband. When I joined VM Business and experienced a problem they did not seem to care at first directing me to a speed test website, too many times, telling me that everything was okay. When they finally sent over technicians to check out the problem, they we unable to tell me exactly what was wrong and exchanged the some cables (it did not solve the problem). After this I decided to leave VM Business, due to the fault that they were unable to solve and I was meant to be refunded some money. Since July I have been forced to contact them on a regular basis as firstly, after 'closing the account' you have to wait one month for it to actually close and to receive any turnover or refunds. Mid August, I have released that I still have not received anything form them I called them once more, only to hear that they sent my refund to a new open account under the same number and that they will sort this out. On every occasion they assured me that everything will be with in at most one month. Beginning of October, still nothing.... Called again and was told that they 'forgot' to approve the cheque. And that it has to be processed by the manager and it will take about 14 days. Now since mid October (called for the 4th or 5th time) I have been waiting for my money to be refunded even though the representative told me it would take up to 14 days. As of today (15/11/19) I still have not received this and I called them up again only to hear that they are unable to connect me with the right team as they are on a 4 hour meeting and they can't do anything about this. Costumer service is only good when you want to spend more money and upgrade, other than that they treat you like you're worthless. Joke.

We had an issue with our broadband. Having been with Virgin over 10 years, I am surprised that when I called for support, the man at the other end was rude, and did not care if I stayed with virgin or not. If I was his boss he would be without a job today. Service, when its paid for is very important. They take monies in advance, and when it does not work, like this chap was rude. He should not be working at virgin.

I would give them zero stars if I could! I was with Virgin media as a mobile customer for less than 24 hours. They have still managed to scam me out of a £45 ‘contract buy our fee’ despite cancelling within the 14 day cooling off period. I have called them twice to get my money back and have been told a refund has been processed, this was 2 weeks ago and I’m still waiting. I can’t believe that a company as large as Virgin media can get away with treating people the way that they do. They take money from your bank that is completely unauthorised and their call centre staff are so rude it’s unbelievable. If, after reading my review you are still thinking of going with Virgin media because they have offered you a ‘good deal’ my advice would be - if it’s too good to be true, it usually is! Don’t be bought in by cheap prices, they will scam you in any way that they can and you will struggle to get your money back - even if you are genuinely owed it! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Cold called .sold broadband , it only worked for 2 days .The spent another 2 days just trying to speak to someone about it. I would say the customer service was diabolical.but there wasn't any. Managed to cancel under the cooling off period. But they've still sent a bill. I've tried to reply but , surprise surprise, without success. All I can say is the few days I spent with virgin media must have been some of the most stressful in my entire life.
