Do not agree to a direct debit with BT, always tell them to send a bill and then you will pay. We are still waiting for £69.00 for a credit they owe us since 22nd of July and still not received it, they are an absolute shambles.

Failing Customer Service I’ve spent about 4 hours in total on the phone since I gave BT 30 days notice to close my broadband account. Within 4 days they cut me off and with that my phone line which I relied on. As it was there mistake I was sent a temporary EE broadband device to see me through to my switch over date. (No landline, they can’t reconnect you!) This £55 cost was supposed to be paid into the BT account. I’ve since been told on another call the EE account was credited with £55. This week I received a bill from BT who are still charging me for Broadband and yesterday an EE red bill for the same month of charges. (The temporary device was sent back within 14 days). These company’s are supposed to work together, but none of the operatives BT or EE look to be able to effect the billing account and can resolve the issue, what ever they tell me. The last time I called BT the operative told me to not pay the bill as I was in credit, although she could not tell me by how much or send me a revised bill. The last time I was told that I received a late payment fine on the next bill so I’ll wait and see. I have asked to speak to someone further up the chain with no luck.

0/5 - Worst Service Experience with BT Internet Avoid BT Internet at all costs! I've had the misfortune of experiencing: Frequent Disconnections: Constant drops in connectivity, requiring router restarts. Slow Speeds: Never exceeded 500 Mbps, despite paying for 900 Mbps package. Unreliable Speed Testing: BT claims only their app shows accurate speeds, dismissing third-party speed tests. Harsh Payment Policies: Immediate disconnections for missed payments, followed by 24-hour reactivation delays. Lack of Transparency: No service status updates or reminders for payment due dates. Coming from Virgin Media, I'm shocked by BT's subpar service. Virgin Media: - Sent reminders for overdue bills - Provided transparent speed information - Notified me of planned disconnections - Didn't disconnect services immediately BT's logic is baffling: - Charging late fees, then disconnecting services anyway - Claiming their platform is designed to evade third-party speed tests. Now, my services are disconnected, and the irony is that I'm unable to open the BT app to pay my bill! The app is not working, what a shame. How am I supposed to pay my bill when your app doesn't function? This is ridiculous. Warning: Don't make the same mistake. Consider alternative providers or use your mobile hotspot for internet at home. Advice: - Research thoroughly before choosing BT - Check speed tests from multiple sources - Be cautious of hidden fees and disconnection policies I hope BT takes customer feedback seriously and improves their services (May be in dreams).

Please! Please! Please! be careful out there, My name is 'Sabine Felix' I'm from mexico, there are many fake crypto investment trading companies so as there are also many fake crypto recovery companies out there who claims to be real and legit. I was a crypto trading scammed victim who lost over $489,000 to a fake crypto trading site which after i was scammed i was needing a serious help for my crypto scammed funds recovery which unlucky for me i fell for a fake recovery company which scammed me $19,000. Believe me the whole situation got me frustrated and i was in bitter tears of pain because i lost both my life savings  and also the money i borrowed from bank... So a month after of depression i was scrolling on a site called ’Scamhelpeducation’ on the internet which i saw a review of one lady on the site giving testimony on how her crypto scammed funds was recovered successfully so i was wondering if this is a true or to fall for another recovery company to be scam again but something truly  moved me in my heart to contact the recovery company that helped the lady recover her scammed funds... So i contacted the recovery company that helped the lady  recovery her scammed funds via the company’s email id, after few hours  the recovery company gave me feedback asking me how I found them and who referred me to them so I told the recovery company how I found them and how I got in contact with them, so the recovery company demanded me to send every details on how I was scammed and how much I was scammed and all that, I sent it to the recovery  company every single details they requested and after 24 hours the  recovery company gave me a trace result from my details I sent to them specifying that my scammed funds is possible to be recovered that I shouldn’t wasted time at the moment that they will  only need to upgrade my  account from a basic account type to this TPM account type so I can be able to make my  withdrawals to my bank account or to my crypto wallet and the recovery company told me that before they will do that, that I will have to pay a TPM upgrade charge fee of $3,600 because my scammed funds is so much to be recovered because the higher your scammed funds the higher your TPM upgrade charge fee and vice versa.. honestly then I was stranded and I had no money with me because I was in debt condition and moreover I was thinking this recovery company is a scam too, so I had to take the risks to sale my Mercedes Benz GLK 2020 model just to raise funds and pay for the TPM upgrade the recovery company instructed me to pay.. so I raised the funds immediately and I paid for the TPM upgrade then in 48 hours my $489,000 was transferred to my bank account and when I received my scammed funds back I was in tears of joy and in shock too till date… so please please I’m taking my time to share these useful and helpful information to scammed victims out there because I know how frustrating and depressed it feels to be scammed.. if your a crypto trading scammed victim and you really want to recover your crypto scammed funds do well to contact this recovery company that recovered my $489,000 successfully to my bank account via the recovery company’s Email id : (victimsrecoveryeducation AT cyberservices. com) please carefully arrange the mail properly because of the site rules. Once you contact the recovery company do well to follow the recovery company’s instructions and make sure you send the recovery company your details and how you were scammed and how much you were scammed details correctly and once the recovery company demands you should pay for the TPM upgrade charge fee for the funds recovery please don’t waste time just pay the recovery company the TPM charge fee immediately, if you don’t have money for the TPM upgrade charge fee just do everything possible to borrow money just to make sure you pay for the TPM upgrade charge fee on time because in recovering of scammed crypto funds delay is dangerous

ABSOLUTELY WORST COMPANY ABSOLUTELY WORST COMPANY, 💯 GUARANTEED TO RIP YOU OFF AND NOT RESPOND TO CALLS AND EMAILS. ( Let's see if they will respond to this) Dearest BT I am writing to formally request the cancellation of our order due to ongoing issues with the activation of our phone line. We had the equipment installed on 20th September at 8:00 AM, and we were assured by your customer service team that the line would be activated by 4:00 PM that same day. Unfortunately, this has not occurred. We were initially told the delay was caused by our current provider not releasing the number. However, after contacting our current provider, we discovered this was not the case and that BT had made errors in the number transfer request. Despite several conversations with BT customer service and multiple complaints (reference IMP-131655126), there has been no resolution. We have been without a working phone line for over eight days, resulting in significant financial losses, amounting to thousands of pounds in lost revenue. Due to the lack of progress, the poor communication from your staff, and the overall handling of this matter, we have lost confidence in BT’s ability to deliver the service we expected. Therefore, we are formally requesting the cancellation of our order and any associated services with immediate effect. We expect this request to be processed promptly and confirmation of the cancellation to be provided

Phone connected 4 days late, annoying enough but the truly shocking thing is the customer service. Not just incompetent but outright rude and aggressive. Email to BT chief exec saw complaint passed to executive relations team. 5 days later call back with opening line being 'how dare you waste our CEOs time?'. Aggressive, argumentative and refusing to deal with complaint

BT are criminals. Over promise, under deliver and are antagonistic. So many issues with them over recent years. Recently, full fibre installation issues, no phone line, no broadband, no compensation. Apparently it takes 5-7 working days to process compensation?? Really BT, you must take us all for mugs. never known a more incompetent company. They clearly DO NOT CARE ONE IOTA FOR CUSTOMERS

I don't know where to start. These people should be in prison. They mis-sell and bully their customers. They left me without internet and kept charging me. I called them countless times about the misselling and each time; I was told they couldn't deal with it and that no supervisor was free. Each time, I am promised a callback, but that does not happen. They refuse to respond in writing, and they refuse to respond to emails. They have refused to deal with the misselling I raised. They are trying to scam my business, and I now have to pay for two internet connections, but Zen Internet is so much better as honest, decent people run it.

Never known a more incompetent company. Rang 1st July to get broadband fitted to a new warehouse unit. Engineer came out 10th July and said they install the cable from the pole to the unit, told them they couldn't as the vans couldn't get through so it'd need to go underground. Went back and said we'd need to pay for underground works, asked for invoice but then told they'd got it wrong so would cancel and reorder. Absolutely nothing happened. Rang back and arranged for it again, engineer attended today to fit a cable from the pole to the building!!!!!! 1 hour on the phone to the useless call centre who did not understand a word I was trying to say, got put through to a supervisor who also didn't understand a word I'd said, no idea whether we're ever going to actually get broadband. Oh and to top it off they took the DD out 2 days before an engineer had even attended site, absolutely useless

Aweful company, avoid it at all cost I can oly echo what 80+% of people have to say about this company. PLEASE AVOID IT IF YOU CAN. I had broadband with them because there was no other option at that time. All goes well untill you need to cancel their service. They will do everything possible to make you pay much more than you owe, from charging you for an extra month just to disconnect, to applying extra charges if you are still within the contract period. They will even try to charge you for not returning the equipment by (mistakenly...) registering your old address instead the new one (despite having clearly informed the new address when cancelling the service) as the address where to send the equipment return bag. If you then call them to update the address they would say you have to call them exactly on the date your service is being disconnected, as they cannot do anything before that (either of course cancelling your current request and charging you a new disconnection fee). Every time you have to call them it's at least a 10 minutes wait, whatever the day or time. What a rubbish company. I can only hope they would go bust soon for everyone's good.

Do not sign any contracts with BT! BT promised a seamless switchover for our business to the cloud but had technical difficulties and could not and did not port our business numbers over to the cloud. Four months after the promised switch over date I gave up and asked to terminate this service as without the numbers ported over, we could not use it. They said to cancel the redundant service it would cost us £9000 in early termination fees, despite the fact that we have never received the service. It went to deadlock and then the ombudsman but because they did not mention the numbers being ported over in the original contract (despite being unable to use it without these in place)! This has gone on since December 2022 and is still not resolved, despite hundreds of telephone calls and emails. This is a communications company that can not communicate.

Absolutely horrendous service from BT, If I could give 0 I would. After moving house we have been left with no internet connection for 2 weeks, BT say they’re unable to cancel our contract or provide us with the internet we’re paying for because there’s a transfer request on our account. We’ve spoken to numerous customer support staff on the phone for hours on end who have all been completely useless, particularly Raymond who was rude and obnoxious. Rebecca then arranged for a mini hub to be sent out to us which was deactivated after 2 days so we’re back to square one with no updates from BT whatsoever. A new mini hub was supposed to be delivered yesterday to tide us over until the issue can be resolved but it didn’t arrive. We have used all our mobile data and as I run my own business which relies on an internet connection I am finding the situation unnecessarily stressful but BT are not interested and just reel off a scripted insincere apology when you try to explain the inconvenience this is causing. I would not recommend BT to anyone, they are a disgrace of a company…AVOID at all costs.

This company does not deserve one star. Bt is a big Scam. I spoke with Ryan this morning to understand why my bills was raised without informing me . The guy was very arrogant and rude to me from the start then when I requested to raise a complaint he first told me he will provide the email of the complaint team then after few minutes he said there is no email and that even if he raise a complaint on my behalf it will still be closed as resolved without speaking with a complaint team. I will never recommend Bt to anyone they are big scammers and I start telling my experience to people.

Use ANYONE except BT business. They are systemically incompetent, their support is non-existent. From wiping out everyone else's phone lines in our building for a week while installing a line for us, through to billing us £200 per month and not notifying us when a phone line used for our alarm system went out of contract, through having to raise complaints to the CEO's office and the ombudsman to get anything sorted, they truly are a company to avoid. Currently 1.5* on Trustpilot with 85% of customers rating them one star or less. https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/business.bt.com
