you do carpet samples but when I tried to order I was told we don’t do samples for those carpets ( what) !!!!!so you should say only some carpet samples available Poor service then I was told they have 1 sample and I’m still waiting for that lost my Custom

Had problems that needed fixing by the fitters. I was promised they would be coming back and didn't. Eventually after visiting store twice managed to get fitters back to rectify problems. They turned up with a huge attitude problem. There was a gap between carpet and wall you could put your hand in on the stairs and the fitter said to me you don't walk upstairs sticking your hand in the gap so what's your problem? They were unpleasant to have in my home. They left rubbish in my front garden and couldn't care less. Why is no stars not an option on a review?

Carpetright Yeovil were nothing but helpful. The chap who did the measuring gave us tips on how to prep the floor to get a better result from our new vinyl. The store accommodated two request to move the fitting date with no problem. The fitters were pleasant, efficient and quick. The website booking and sample service is also great.

*for Staines Branch* Please do not let all the negative reviews of carpet right put u off! Carpet right gave us a very pleasant experience the whole way through. From in store dealing with Austin, to the pair of fitters who were very quick and had amazing attention to detail, we were very Happy with the whole jobit's very sad to see a lot of negative reviews on here when we were given great customer service.

Lies,broken promises,disappointment,stress,inconvenience,damaged property,£384 out of pocket fitting costs-all just the tip of the iceberg.CEO’s office don’t care.My experience with Carpetright is nothing short of a disgrace. Disgusted is not the word.0 stars would be generous.

I'm only giving 1 star because zero isn't an option. Absolutely awful. Took 8 months - that's right, 8 MONTHS - to fit a carpet. You'd expect profuse apologies and a decent refund offer wouldn't you? Nope. There was evidence of appalling rudeness within this time. The regional manager, did not once bother to contact us despite being 'fully aware', which is even more unforgiveable. The whole experience was a shambles. It truly appears, that Carpetright do not care one iota for their customers, and my advice if you are looking for a carpet, would be to bypass this excuse of a retailer, and go to another company who actually care and are more deserving of your hard earned money.

I have ordered online a bed from CarpetRight. After a few weeks the store I was suppose to collect it from said they didn't receive it and then they called back to say the bed is no longer being produced. I asked for a refund and even today, almost 2 months from my order, I did not received it. It's very frustrating, especially since I called them almost every week about it. I am shocked to see a company with such good rating performed so poorly. Not only they messed up my order, but didn't manage to get me a refund for what was their fault to begin with. I am very disappointed.

Would give 0 stars if I could. We have been waiting for our mattress for 4 weeks, they do not message us until the day it's due to arrive to say it's been delayed (happened 3 times). Today due to deliver but they gave our mattress to a previous delivery address!!!! so have to wait for them to go back and exchange. Never dealt with such an incompetent company, would NEVER shop again with them

Carpetright asked to come out because I was unhappy with the carpet as fitted. Unbelieveable behaviour. The guy who came said he was only interested in whether the fault lay with the fitter or the store, because he didn't think the fitter should pay for the fault. I said I didn't care who was to blame - just in whether Carpetright agreed the end product was not good enough and what they were prepared to do about it. The guy then claimed he wasn't from Carpetright and didn't represent them!!!!! I pointed out I had rung Carpetright, they had said they'd send someone and he turned up! He kept going on about the contractual relationship between him and carpetright - I said I didn't care about the ifs and out of who did what, I had arranged with carpetright to do a job and I just wanted someone to say whether they thought the product as fitted was acceptable. He refused to do that and walked out on me in mid-sentence. HE WALKED OUT ON ME. The carpet as fitted looks terrible, And they don't care - they only care about who in carpetright is to blame.

We went into Carpetright(Cambridge) to purchase lino flooring for our kitchen, as they offer a home survey to check flooring we took them up on this which they carried out. The representative said 2 layers of floor in our property needed to be uplifted and quoted to state difficult. We paid Carpetright the Lino £289.80 and were due to pay the fitters on completion of fitting. On day one the fitter only removed one layer of old flooring and screeded over the top of the other existing layer. When confronted he stated this would be ok. The following day the floor was cracked throughout (mosaic style). We contacted carpetright to get this amended by a different fitter. Carpetright eventually visited our home and stated the flooring was fine. We paid an independent flooring company as recommended by CAB, who wrote a report stating the flooring had been completed with 'poor practices'. Through various emails between us and carpetright, and us taking this case to arbitration, it has been concluded that as the fitter is 'third party' we can not take this any further with Carpetright. Meanwhile Carpetright have withheld the £289 we paid them for the lino. Further to this we have had to pay £120 for an independent professional report, £25 for arbitration, and 6 months with an unhygienic kitchen that was not sealed and could not clean with a 15 month old and 5 year old. We have all documentation, videos and photos. We do not know the fitter as he was arranged by Carpetright Needless to say very poor service experience we will never use Carpetright again, our advise check T&C's as it does state the fitters are independent, although nobody will take responsibility if anything goes wrong.

The fitters put Half good underlay and half cheap underlay in the lounge,the stair carpet is loose and cut short we have complained and complained they said that that would sort it out but now they are saying that’s it’s the fitters nothing to do with carpet right and would not replace the bottom stair carpet customer service appalling

Please do not buy your carpet from Carpetright. I was sold an expensive carpet that after one month looked like it needed replacing. When complaining I'm told it was a light weight pile and would fall over very quickly and the deputy manager said I'm surprised when purchasing you wasn't told this, WHAT if I was told that at purchase I WOULDN'T HAVE PURCHASED IT. Carpetright need to stop selling poor quality carpets. Please please go to an individual seller where they know if they don't sell good quality carpets they will close down very quickly, as will I'm sure Carpetright. Yes they are all very polite and nice when your in there buying, I left a good review on that, but try to complain and you will find out what they are really like, hiding behind the manufacturer, and as I said I didn't buy from the manufacture I bought from Carpetright but I was wasting my breath all I can do is leave lots and lots and lots of bad reviews. Picture shows the carpet having been laid for 6 months.

What an appalling attitude to customer 'care'!!!!!! Your response is to basically tell me to shop with you again???? Are you for real? You've stolen £500 from my family, holding onto our money - without delivery of our item - for over a month. Agreed refund 'processed incorrectly' twice and I'm left wondering if I will ever receive my refund! and your customer care team offer no goodwill, they just respond that I should be considering spending more with you, so that they can be better next time!!!? NO WAYYYYY! ITS BEEN OVER 3 WEEKS! You should not bother having Customer Service, a team of robotic, incompetent, powerless people? Utterly pointless WASTE OF TIME. I wish I hadn't wasted my time emailing SUCH a thieving and dishonestly run company and I definitely wish I had spent my hard earned money elsewhere.

I've now waited over 9 months for someone to come and fix issues my flooring. I have had a fitter fail to turn up on 9 separate occasions. However, CarpetRight hide behind their T&Cs and say appointments are only estimates. When one turned up he botched the repair and left it in a worse state. Despite sending in evidence showing this in photographs I was called a lair by the company and nothing was done. They have no refund policy at all and will do nothing to help you once you have paid them as they use 3rd party fitters who have freedom to mess you around as CarpetRight have written in their T&Cs that they have no control over how they act towards customers. Sickening, avoid at all costs and go somewhere else. 9 months on and still nothing has been repaired to a acceptable standard. Even WatchDog has been asking for anyone with complaints about this company. Please go to Twitter and look them and reply to the tweet so we can stop this company.

I paid the Rayleigh branch £800.00 August 2019 Booked for it to be fitted 23 September The day it was due to be fitted I was contacted that day my carpet was not in stock This means like many other reviews I have read you are living in an empty room I had arranged for my new furniture to be delivered the day after the carpet was fitted Did not happen obviously At the age of 80 I feel that the service we are given by these giant stores is totally inadequate and no one gives a dam as long as the share holders are ok DO NOT USE CARPET RIGHT

Please be aware that you will be charged for delivery, even when buying a length of carpet that is already in the shop, plus service charge. Also, the shop charges at least four times as much for their carpet gripper as independent retailers, and fitters want an extortionate amount for trimming the bottom of the doors. The salesman was pleasant and helpful, but I will not be using Carpet right again because of all the hidden charges.

Ordered a LVT floor to be laid in May 2019. Floor was badly laid by a fitter sourced by them. Still waiting for a resolution.
