Worst experience I had with a large company tried to return a phone they were obstructive all the way or lying! Do not use them.

Was mis-sold a phone contract 4 weeks ago (data package was wrong). They would not admit to it until I said I would take legal action as I had concrete evidence that it was there fault. Still awaiting resolution. Do yourself a favour and stay away!!!!

I would never ever purchase anything from Carphone Warehouse ever again!!! Completely appauling customer service and staff expect respect when they don't give any respect themselves. Would rather buy from Uswitch or straight from O2, EE or any other company as long as it isn't CW. I highly doubt that Carphone Warehouse would send me the recordings of all the phone call conversations if I asked because i would literally take them furtber since their in the wrong. In at least 2 phone calls over the past 3 weeks there has been a moment where they've contradicted each other. All i asked for was a receipt as proof of purchase for my Iphone 6s so that i could get it fixed since its stopped working by giving it to my insurance, since I had never trusted Geek Squad with their bad record of accepting claims etc... They told me that it would've taken them 24-72 workibg hours and i said fine. Then it had been 72 working hours and i had seen no email althought I had given them 2 different options of email to send to In case they were going to be inompetent or find excuses. When I called the 2nd time they said that they had sent it but mentioned wrong email addresses- clearly whoever is in charge of hiring staff members should check that they're ears are in full working order because I had been really clear (I thought) I was obviously upset after the call but still gave them the chance to send it to my father's email address since that seemed to be a problem and they still gave me 24-72 working hours. It had been another week and there was nothing on my father's email. I then called AGAIN and this time funny enough they said that they'll re-send it to the email thats on the account which happened to be MY email address; meaning that this WHOLE time the had MY email address and had not sent it. The only name that I remeber is Shavana and after her on tge same day I had been re-directed to another woman who claimed to have sent me the email and also gave me the password to access the contect, ALL IN ONE DAY. What i couldn't understand is why the woman said that she COULD and HAD sent me that email whitin the space of a few hours whilst this whole time everyone else told me that it was 24-72 working hours. Up until today I am yet to receive my receipt, I need the replacement because my phone has genuinely completely shut down, I have contacts that I need for work and vital infornation which due to them i've probably lost, I have explained this to them more than once but it is now 3 weeks and I am still waiting. After this experience, I will never purchase a phone from Carphone Warehouse due to their bad customer serive. I'm sure that if my Insurance Company was Geek Squad, Carphone warehouse wouldn't have taken this long to send them any details that would've been required. However, I do believe that Geek Squad would've then fount a reason to reject the claim

they didn't accept my contract phone but they got back to me and phoned up for more information and accepted afterwards

They were extremely helpful after an online company were proving difficult to deal with had let me down. They went above and beyond in trying to sort my problem even speaking to the company on the phone on my behalf...I would definitely recommend them.

The staff were very, and I mean very lacking in customer service skills. Most of the time, they were either chatting to their co-workers about their latest night out or flat out shoving deals and nonsense down my throat. However, this doesn't even come close the horrible experience that I had last week at one of their branches... I came in one day, with an issue with my iPhone 6S that I had recently purchased online at their store. It was frozen and simply wouldn't respond to anything (which is very weird, considering the fact that iPhones usually are never prone to such problems ever!). So there I am, in the dead, empty store, wanting a refund for my broken phone... and was told simply to fuck off to another store! Fortunately, the manager intervened and fired the dickhead Jamel, but the situation is still ongoing, and I'm still £480 out of pocket!

Worst customer service experience ever, spoke to a woman she didn't understand what I wanted. Then I asked her to get a manager, and she said they were in a meeting and then she went to go and get one. I was then transferred through to EE weirdly and they said that they always get phone calls transferred through to them because they can't be bothered. After speaking to them about what this women said they said it was all lies and they knew nothing about it. I called back carephone warehouse to speak to a manager and they told me I would get a callback this never happened. So I called back about an hour later after they told me that the manager would get in touch 45 minutes later after they get out of the meeting. This women still refused to let me speak to a manager and didn't resolve my query at all. I have not had a phone properly for a good couple of months now and pay £57 a month for something that I don't get to use. I barely get to call people or message them or receive them. The service was dreadful they just don't care and want your money I only wanted the same contract but a different phone. They told me I should get it repaired but then told me it would cost even though EE and Apple told me it wouldn't and my local carphone warehouse store said this as well. Absolute waste of my time was declined to speak to a manager 3 times. So now in the middle of calling citizens consumer buero and trading standards. Did call onbudsman but they don't deal with it. Women at onbudsen was lovely and Steven at EE was amazing carphone warehouse you need advisors like Steven to work for you because your ones are terrible. After contract up moving to someone else never coming back. Don't go to carphone warehouse they are liars and don't care for you at all once they have your money that is it. 0 stars for me!!!! Should be closed down for good the thieving cons!!!!

Ive purchased all my phones from here for 20 years just purchased the Samsung s8 plus with new case screen protector and charger spent £1000 i was told i can get a free bluetooth speaker by the shop as its a offer for all customers so i asked in Mansfield for seasons store the lad told me to call customer services so i did that they told me i would recieve it in post i never received it so i called again and they said for me to go into the shop so i did that never got a call from the store i went in today asked if they had got anywhere regarding it they said they had called me and left voicemails which they have not she then said to me that she had contacted head office but not heard from them next minute she goes on a computer said oh theres a email in the archive folder saying im not eligible for the free speaker with me buying sim free when i was told from head office and customer service i would get one and i was eligible very unprofessional and the staff in store need more training on how to talk to people without attitude i will not be buying anything from that store again i dont like being lied to when i spent £1000 in there
