I've just been to the store at Warwickshire Retail Park at Binley in Coventry , I'm not the best when it comes to even get the back off my phone. The manager there helped me out and the service was excellent. I've always bought my phones from Carphone warehouse simply because I know I can go in and ask for assistance, online is fine until you need advice and practical assistance Anyway while I was there I found out that I can save money on my broadband and a new contract on my mobile when these come to an end. You'll be seeing me again in the near future. thanks again for your help

Having had to visit the Hedge End on Tues 16 Jan with a faulty phone,to be told it was not faulty. That night it lost all its battery very quickly, took it back on Weds 17 Jan when they agreed there was a fault, I then asked for a replacement to which the reply was no because the phone is more than 28 days old (in fact it was 3 months old). They insisted it had to be sent away for repair for up to 2 weeks which I was not happy about. The replacement phone they loaned me was not of the same size or spec as the one I am paying, I would expect something similar. I phoned customer services on Thurs 18 Jan at 0815 the person I spoke to said there was nothing else they could do ,I asked to speak to a manager to which the reply was she would get a manger would call me back. Having not heard I phoned back at 1230 to be told it takes up to 24 hrs to get a call back. On Fri 19 Jan I called again at 1000 hrs only to be told it takes up to 48 hrs to get a call back and she couldent help me any more and then put me through to the repair dept(for what reason I do not know, perhaps she just wanted to pass the buck). When I asked would I still get a call back from a manager she checked and said that no request had been made on Wednesday. I then asked if a manager will call me back to which she replied yes it will be sometime within the next 48hrs. What a poor example of customer service. I would be grateful if someone could look into this for me urgently.

feel like i'm being scammed Placed an order with carephone warehouse for 2x iPhone X's beginning of last November as the website showed the items in stock. Then got an email to say there was a problem with the credit card and to call customer services. Called CS to be told that the card had declined but they then advised the phones were not in stock anyway (even though the website still said they were in stock) so i cancelled the order. Week or so later noticed i had actually been billed £1149 for one of the iPhone X's! Called customer services, i had to take a screen shot of my credit card bill to prove i had been billed - did that and they said they would refund my card. Week or so went by - no refund so called again - again give them my credit card details so they could issue a refund. Another week or so and no refund. Emailed CS - emal back asking me to contact customer services. I contacted customer services this time to be told that due toi the value the could not issue a refund to credit card, would have to send me a cheque which could take 14-28 days for me to recieve. What!!?? That was the 8th December - well over 28 days. I've contacted customer services several times since New Year latest response being...yawn.."I am sorry to learn that you have not received your refund as of yet. I will be escalating this to the relevant department so that this matter can be looked into. I would advise that you call our friendly customer services team within 48 hours to see what can be done for you regarding the refund." Sick of speaking to their customer services team, yes all very friendly but i've still not got my money back. Told them yesterday "I’ve called your customer services department so many times and emailed and as I’ve said plenty of times before I feel like I am going round in circles. I’m getting very weary and really have lost all patience and I don’t have any more time to waste on this. You can ask whoever you are going to escalate this to contact me – and if you are going to do that please ask them to contact me soon as possible – by noon tomorrow latest. Otherwise I will be passing this to my legal department tomorrow 17/1/18." So that is where i am at, no refund, no contact from Carphone Warehouse so will be passing this to my legal advisors....and writing lots of posts like this to warn other people.....looks like i may be one of many in this situation

Got a call from Carphonewarehouse trying to upgrade my contract, never agreed to anything but they signed me upto a contract anyway, had to jump through hoops to get out of a contract I never agreed too. My advice hang up if they ring you.

There Customer service is dreadful, they send out broken phone then expect you to go and get it repaired as they dont want to send you a new phone! disgusting company avoid using at all costs.

Never had such disgustingly bad customer service, sold me phones they knew were having problems, refused to fix the phones, sending me from one shop to another without fixing any issues, not even looking at the phones, rude staff in customer service, no reply to online complaints, Even sending me to Argos to buy new phones! All along my phones were covered by the two year warranty and NO ONE IS WILLING TO FIX THE FAULTY PHONES THEY SOLD ME!!!

If I could leave 0/5 I would. Their team (Moe and Shelby) both of whom are managers at this store (Oxford Circus) were completely rude to me. I purchased a device that turned out to be faulty and I had to fight with them and customer service for days in order to get a refund. Even after explaining to them the situation they were not willingly to give a refund I had to walk over to another store in order to get my refund. I honestly will never use CarPhone Warehouse again. BEWARE their terms and conditions contradict themselves that their customer service team can try to avoid give refunds. DO NOT GO HERE! Even if they might be cheaper go somewhere else for a better experience when it comes to issues with your phone.

They certainly dont know about the sale of goods act 1979. wife asked for sim card for data on ipad, the assistant inserted it and told her he has registered it.when i went to use it it was wrong sim card. i sent her back for refund and they refused only a credit note, when she phoned me i spoke to this git and said if he doesnt refund my money i will go to trading standards. he said the system will only let him issue credit notes, i told what he can do with his credit note and i want refund of money. they mis sold the item its there fault. they must be owned by currys because they have same policy. they really need bringing to task on the sale of goods act. this is not the first time but it will be the last

How they have become an Apple Authorised repair dealer I will never know. I booked in via the Apple site to their 80 Kensington High St branch for a replacement battery for an Iphone 6. Several times before making the journey I tried calling the branch to check all was OK with stock. Their phone and their nearby branch phone were out of order (!). The call centre were unable to help at all other than trying to sell me a new phone and once I explained I only wanted a new battery I was mysteriously "cut off" as soon as I asked them to connect me to the branch. When I got there, I was met with a very defensive and agressive repair employee who told me that they had no stock of the batteries and yes their phone lines were down. He then tried to defend the situation by saying 3 customers who had booked earlier "didn't even show up" (as though this was my fault and problem - the logic of that was lost on me). He told me I maybe able to get a walk in repair in Shepherds Bush (2 miles away) but was unprepared to ring them to see if they had stock - the reason? "That's not part of our service" - SERIOUSLY. So, three hours wasted travelling and the cost of travel. I will be cancelling my 4 family contracts with this group (we have been customers for 10 years plus) as well as ending our business contract with them as soon as possible. If this is what their merger with Dixons has come to I want no part of it. The recent hack was a nightmare which I eventually forgave - this was the final straw and the end for me...

Don't use carphone warehouse they are just conning people. I have been with them for years all been well and good until October last year and my upgrade was due. Guy phones me I wasn't to well at Time told him I wanted to go sim only to reduce my bill ends up talking me into a £35 a month contract which has ended up costing me more as not receiving what he said I would and have had to add bolt on. Kept my old phone too said I would receive £290 cash back!!!!! Have I heck as like still not received keep phoning them can't hardly hear what Advisor says as sounds like load of girls/kids screaming and shouting in the background so impossible for me to understand what being said to me as can't hear basically. Am now considering just not paying my bills and going elsewhere as not upholding their part of contract and even though ask to talk to manager they just frob you off until in the end you got no choice as cannot hear/understand them. So yep I have resigned myself to fact they have conned me

Theives! They provided me with a faulty phone and exchanged it for a new phone, and then the phone had the exact same fault! - DODGY BATCH of LG G6's. Then that had the same problem and they had to send of for repair, I paid an extra premium upfront for my LG G6 in Ice Platinum, and when I got my phone back from repair they had sent black the cheaper, black version. Despite fighting with them they have refused to exchange the phone for a silver one, and they have also refused to give me my money back which I paid extra for the premium colour. They have stolen my money and I hope that whomever reads this STEERS CLEAR of this dodgy company. Terrible service, this has been ongoing for months and I have now decided it is not worth the petrol anymore to deal with it and I will have to put up with the ugly black LG G6 until I can afford a newer phone, which I will not be buying from them!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, especially premium colours, if it breaks you wont get it back.

Bought several mobiles and had issues with the pre paid for sim credit with all, first two did not deliver the full credit I paid for and 2nd two came with sim cards but both did not have the £10 credit on them I had to buy to get the phone deals, would not trust this company again and definitely would never buy online as so hard to resolve a issue. Big let down as never had issues when they had a local store but since it closed down had to use online for my presents.

Parents bought an LG k8 as a Christmas present complete with £10 credit, The person the gift was intended for never received the credit it expired 30 days after delivery a fact they were not made aware of by carphone warehouse who then proceeded to fob them off with false promises and lies

Complaint reference PCR1118636, purchase Moto G5 plus from you on 12/10/2017 developed a fault and was advised to take it to local Car phone warehouse shop for repair on the 11/12/2017, notified to collect on 4/1/2018 went to collect told it was NOT repaired, I was shocked you had the phone all of that time and was not repaired, I was told it was MY reasonability to send it to Motorola direct to get it repaired, this totally unacceptable, to be treated this way, you had £269.99 out of me and you are avoiding any responsibility of the repair, I spent over an hour talking to your so call customer services which was a waste of my time, the answer they gave me was to take to Car phone warehouse shop again for repair and be without it another 28 days what a joke, so I asked for a total refund to my credit card and I will take my business else ware to other company's with a more caring and professional attitude in dealing with paying customer. If this problem is not resolved ASAP I promise you I will take it further to expose the horrendous service I have received. Graham Pinnock

Where does one begin? I think CPW have trading in how to most vex their customers. Customer services are appallingly bad to get through to. I was trying to et through to the branch on Seven Sister red and that was impossible. I went to return my handset and end contract as I got a better deal arc sky on 14 th day so just in the cooling off period and was told there wasn't a manager so they couldn't do it! Went to the branch on kings rd and was told too late!! Spoke to CS and they told me to go back to original branch and explain my complaint. Off tomorrow wish me luck guys! DO NOT, repeat DO NOT shop with these crooks who are only after your contract and shall pass you from pillar to post ther after.

No 14 day cooling off if you buy in store. Have been trying to contact someone to deal with this for 7 weeks. Keep getting pushed from pillar to post and West Quay Southampton store not interested. Disgraceful customer service would advise not to shop with this company.
