Well, I now have my home charger fitted, but it took four months from application and five weeks after my all electric car was delivered! Not great service and I’m sorry to say not great customer service either. Called numerous times for updates but stock answer was installers would contact me within 10 days, don’t hold your breath. When I finally received an email, from the installation team, they had the wrong address and as it turned out the wrong time as well, but at least the they got the right day! Did email about the wrong information, no reply, phoned, response, everything should be ok!! Did not inspire any confidence at all, fitter did arrive at the right address but 4 hours early, it was pure luck I was in. Good part is the charger works so no more trips to public chargers to stay on the road. With more and more EV vehicles taking to the road, you do need to get your act together very soon. On the positive side the fitter was excellent and the installation is very neat.

I tried to use a bp pulse EV charger but it failed but still billed me £15. I have been waiting on the phone for over an hour to resolve.

The electrician who installed my charge point was in my opinion the best tradesmen that I have had working on and in my property his name was Gareth from Wales he explained to me everything regarding the installation I believe that he should be told and my gratitude passed on to him I will recommend your company to my colleagues in the fire service The installation was carried out by an outstanding electrician Kind regards Brian Carter

I experienced extremely poor customer service from BP and would not recommend them. They cancelled the installation twice with only emails at the last minute as notification. I lost two days pay due to being messed around. They can't even be bothered to call to notify they won't be turning up. If your not glued to your emails then that's tough. The planning and scheduling team are incompetent and have no interest in customers. The engineer on the other hand was very helpful and did a great job installing. If your looking at getting a wall box installed then source an independent as all BP are interested in is overbooking as many jobs as possible and overstretching their engineers. The customer service is actually quite shocking in this modern times.

A lengthy 4 month process, customer service frustrating, one contact was good. Engineer who installed was very good. It would of be good to understand the steps in the process upfront I may of been a bit more understanding, for example I thought it was your delay however it was with SSE to give approval which took 4 weeks. Pleased with the end result.

Bp Pulse is the worst customer service I have experienced from a company in the UK. Although the UK generally has pitiful customer service across the board, BP PULSE take it to a new LOW. Disgusting. It took me 4 months for installation. Now it’s installed (on a date only chosen by you, BP Pulse). No consultation or date agreement. Pathetic. It is installed but I cannot control the charger via the app. I called for support to only be told, there is a back log. Sounds like another Pandemic excuse to me or maybe working from home isn’t quite working out. Help me connect to the charger and invite me to complete another survey. It maybe better than this one. Thanks for nothing BP Pulse, as a company you are disgusting.

Tedious and drawn-out. It took more than two months to get to installation. Very difficult to get anything done. Received two emails on the way saying "We're sorry to see you go" even though we were still trying to complete the transaction. No problems with the man who came to do the actual installation. Did a very good job and tidied up all the rubbish when he had finished. Definitely would NOT use bp pulse again. Sorry.

Since installed the home BP pulse, never work a single time. Called BP support three times but so. No one fixing my issue. The BP pulse keep flashing red light.

The work was carried out very efficiently & accommodated our preferred location. There was minimum disruption and work completed in a few hours.

Apart from having to do a comprehensive site survey myself, which I hope was because of covid, and required in depth knowledge about all incoming services to the house, I had good customer service. The electrician from Elm park electrical came as arranged and completed a very professional clean installation. He explained what he was doing every step of the way and how to use the charge point. It took approx 3 weeks to get installation. Haven’t used the app yet.

Very good and the fitter was excellent, neat, helpful. It’s perfect. I waited awhile after western power came and electric board was updated but then everything went to plan. Thanks

Worst experience I have had for decades, 4 month delay, shockingly, disinterested Customer Service. Company clearly not set up for growth in EV charging demand which seems like a fairly obvious trend to have predicted. I don't know if this is an Industry issue but I'd certainly advise checking performance of competitors before choosing BP Pulse. As a footnote, even after waiting 4 months, the wrong charger was fitted and even then the cabling ended up being twisted behind the incoming supply conduit. I'm amazed the review score is so high, maybe people too tired to leave reviews. My observations on Twitter and other forums paint a different picture.

Extremely long time from ordering to installation. Numerous examples of miscommunication, duplicated conversations, sub-contractors not turning up. Very disappointing, although the final installation went smoothly and efficiently and the charger works with no problems

Zero customer service, emails not replied to, was lied to & hung up on by telephone operatives. Will be contacting the ombudsman. Whole experience was a nightmare. Avoid! I’ve only given customer service 1 star because there was not the option for zero.

Unfortunately my new car delivery has been delayed as a result of shortages of chips. I therefore have not had the opportunity to test the charger, however hopefully new car will be available in August.

The BP Pulse chargers are terrible. Even the newer rapid chargers that have been placed do not deliver the charge speeds advertised. I do not advise any new EV drivers to use them.
