While a correction to my flight confirmation was handled very well, I did not appreciate the phone call to upgrade my flight, even to other airlines.

Not a good experience. Your website kept getting stuck. I ended up being charged 4 times evertime I needed to refresh. By the time I found out (a few hours later) I called customer service and my tickets were gone! They wanted me to pay an extra $200 to get the same tickets. I said I didn’t want to flight at that cost and then they told me I had to pay a cancellation penalty for tickets I didn’t even have! It was ridiculous!

This company operates like a "bait and switch." I initially purchased a ticket but later was contacted and informed the price had increased. During the following week, while I was having conversations with representatives about the flights on which they could accommodate me, the original flight and price were still being advertised online, further confirming my theory. Only when I told them that I was not interested in the purchase unless the original price could be honored that it was, though on a less ideal flight than I had originally found. Update: After writing this initial, unfavorable review, I was contacted by the company and offered a financial incentive to change my review to be more favorable. As I view these practices as misleading to future consumers, and my perspective of the situation has not changed, I will not do so, but rather wish to let other consumers know that this practice may be artificially inflating the reviews that they read online.

My experience was absolutely horrible. I booked a flight reservation and got confirmation (text and email) only to find out almost 6hrs later it didn’t go through (not due to me) but on cheap flight side. Then was the ticket price I got was no longer available. I was told could cancel my booking or except the new price. Nervous I would not get a ticket on flight I accepted. Next I confirmed while on the phone with the airlines website that the flight was booked and it was but booked at the original told rate. So cheap tickets basically scammed me to make additional profit of me. The agent refused to correct the problem and just “ok by I’ll cancel your reservation”. Me scream into the phon no please don’t. I was told is what it is and not on the company of new rate. Really frustrating and upsetting that I was confirmed one rate and half a day later was told I wasn’t. I will never use this booking site again. Update: the company has called me and apologized for their mistake. They have told me they will refund me the difference/upcharged I paid. I will watch my cc and see if that happens. If that does happen I do applaud there customer service in trying to make right.

I seen flights for less money, but was adamant about flying on Alaska Airlines, I specifically touched the Alaska Airlines as my selected airlines, yet AFTER booking and paying, it was revealed to me that I will be flying on fricken Delta! NOT the airlines I choose. They say it’s an Alaska Airlines flight flown by Delta, I call that booking me on fricken Delta when I wanted Alaska Airlines!! I will NEVER use THIS site again!!

I was re-directed to this website from another travel site. Before I knew I was purchasing tickets from this agency instead of the website I originally wanted to book with. I don't understand why some travel sites are misleading and re-direct you to third-party websites like this one. By the time I realized it it was too late. I purchased the plane ticket. I received no flight confirmation after the purchase. I waited a few minutes and still nothing. The payment went through of course. I had to find a way to get in touch with customer service to receive my flight confirmation. After several minutes on chat with an agent, first, they told me the payment didn't go through. Then they told me it did. And that they had to confirm the flight themselves. SMH It was such a hassle to use, I should've booked with the airline direct. Eventually, after the time wasted, and the hassle to contact customer service and an hour later. I got my flight information. The issue was resolved after being on chat with the agent for a while. I received the ticket I paid for.

I was dismayed to find that the price I paid for my tickets from Cheap Flights (via Kayak.com) was not guaranteed until the tickets are issued and in fact could increase by any amount in the six hours between ordering the tickets and confirming the reservation and having my card charged. I had thought when I “bought” the tickets on Kayak that the deal was done, my card was charged, the price was set, and the reservation was confirmed at that price and is soon be off on my trip. That’s the way it’s always been in 25 years of buying plane tickets for myself. But it turns out that is not the case for your company. When I called back to ask for my airline confirmation number I was told that the price had in fact increased by about $25 since I made the reservation, my card had not yet been charged, and did I want to proceed with the reservation at the new, higher price. This is unconscionable. Nowhere—except maybe in very fine print?—was I told this was a possibility when I booked the tickets. Eventually the agent I spoke to was willing to honor the original quoted price from six hours earlier, but only after about 45 minutes of complaints from me.

I booked a flight with Frontier and the flight was cancelled 5 times.. Mind you I'm at ATL Airport I caught the train 5 times walked and walked so much and on top of that had to spend the night in the airport..One of the worst experiences ever.

This trip I purchased for is very important to me. After purchasing my flights, car, etc. I received inconsistent information about the details. When I reached out to the agent and other companies, the information continued to not match. Because of all of this inconsistency, I canceled my order from Cheap Flights Fares.

The website was not clear with the usd and when I searched for domestic flights in Australia all the Australian airlines had similar prices . Example, Jetstar at $160 compared to going directly to Jetstar for $180, so it is easily assumed that it was aud considering the website advertises how cheap their tickets are. Upon purachasing I realised my bank account had withdrawn a lot more. The online chat response was prompt and I managed to get an email response with a cancellation. Prior to that they insisted I called but most people don’t use overseas numbers here and only WhatsApp. So I couldn’t call. And then the refund had a cancellation fee even when I opted for it within an hour of clicking. It was stressful and I felt deceived by the way things were presented. I was not reimbursed for the fee, and the time I wasted when I could have simply bought it from Jetstar instead of trying to find a bargain from all their ads.

It was fine to start with. Then 2 days after booking my flight I get a call and am told they are unable to add my carry on baggage to either flight. I have a feeling that this is so I can be charged double for my luggage. Pretty lowsy trick. I will not be paying more than the original $90 total for luggage both directions. $45 each way. K.C. Hart

I ordered online is 4 tickets. It can’t check out since they said only 3 tickets available. I have to add additional money for the ticket. I can’t cancel my flight because it’s pending.

Kind of disappointed since i paid the amount that was agreed and then my tickets didn’t arrived. Had to call and then they wanted to charge me $80 more and when i found them online in Spirit Airline cheaper they were able to confirm my travel plan. At the end it got resolved but took effort from my side since I wasn’t going to get notified that the tickets weren’t issued.

This is my 3rd time purchase a flight through your app and then having you slip me on price and not confirm my fligh. Then you come back and ask me to pay more money. I have never had this happen on any other site. Why adv a flight price and not actually honor the price what type of technology is being used here. Seems super shady, as in if the price got better behind the sense i am sure you keep the difference, but if the price gets worst you don't honor my check out price.

They provide good customer service but only after speaking with and agent. I would recommend calling first than booking online. Twice I booked online only to be told one of the flights isn't available then they try finding one for you.

I purchased a ticket on this website. Almost instantly I started receiving text messages, emails, and voicemails (10pm) that I needed to contact customer service immediately over the ticket I purchased. When I called the number back, they put me on hold for about 20 minutes while they were trying to figure out my reservation. When the guy came back online, he said there was no problem and he would issue my ticket. I'm not sure why I had to go through all this if there was no problem. After we hung up, moments later I was called by Cheapflightsfares from another representative who said there were problems with my purchase. I told her that I'd already gone through all these calls, texts, and emails. She puts me on hold for another 10 minutes. When she comes back she tells me there's actually no problem and the first representative would issue my ticket. I eventually did get my tickets but it cost me 30 minutes of being on hold with two representatives only to tell me that there weren't actually any problems at all. I don't know why I had to go through all that for a problem that didn't seem to exist?
