They ship with FedEx or Ontrac. For where I live they opt for Ontrac which has a history of marking packages as delivered without actually delivering them. So naturally my last two packages disappeared. Taking my business elsewhere since Chewy doesn't let you choose shipping methods or carriers.

They sent me a card for my dogs birthday with a 20% off any purchase. When I tried to redeem they claimed is was only special purpose. This company sucks. Either offer a deal or not but they really annoyed me after 20 years of loyalty and 4 dogs. Switch and bait. Sleazeball marketing. Corporate greed.

I took this moment to thank CHEWY and Kay immensely for making me feel special. My dog Gucci passed away on October 19,2024 and yesterday we received this at the front door in our house. We were so amazed with such excellent company. Thank you Chewy for such a beautiful detail!!!! They were the only people who sent flowers to our dog son and for that I’ll always be grateful and thankful for you guys!

Chewy is awesome my only complaint with chewy is the shipping company Fedex I have been waiting on my dog food for a week now and still have not received it because Fedex is too lazy to bring in it in a little bit of snow. But if it was UPS it would have been here they work and delivery to make sure people and their fur babies have their packages. Chewy please switch to UPS

I brought a couple days food with me thinking I can buy the same food in Los Angeles. I found the food on chewy and they required a vet note to buy hypoallergenic (hydrolyzed) dog food. Can you believe this? So I called my vet in France(who is American by the way) and she also wrote the prescription in English. They still denied me dog food for my very hypoallergenic dog. My dog has acid reflux he's been sick most of this trip. My vet in thinks they're running a racket to get seen by a vet in their Network in order to get a prescription for dog food??? If they sell the dog food sell the dog food don't keep it hostage when you offer it online and you offer it. This is awful and now I'm dealing with a dog that has severe acid reflux on vacation visiting my family in Los Angeles. WE HAVE A PRESCRIPTION that I had provided and was denied dog food. These people should be out of business. By the way my parents bought a lot of PRODUCT from them and they are done. Again I have a prescription in English from my vet and they refused it because they want to make more money off of us instead of just selling us dog food for my pet and minding their business. I'm so bummed out. What a complete disappointment.😒

Chewy always shipped quickly. Prices reasonable. But I'm leaving this review because when my baby girl passed away I called to cancel all future autoships and meds. I have only been a customer for less than a year. Two days later I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers- from Chewy. It was so touching, surprising, and well beyond any expectations. I will be recommending Chewy to everyone and anyone. They actually care.

Chewy offers excellent customer service! when my pet passed away they sent me flowers. i recently got a new pup and needed help with a prescriptions and Trisha g provided excellent customer service and got my prescription ordered. Chewy’s also has fast delivery and I just love the store.

I still can’t believe that this happened! I am so pleased with Chewy. I don’t recall the exact date but anyhow it was last summer when I ordered a bag of Iams. Anyway I ordered the wrong food. My English setter has been fed Iams lamb and rice all of her life. The one she likes comes in a red bag and here I ordered the green bag. Totally my fault. Chewy contacted me asking I was pleased with my order. I mentioned that I was really pleased with their service. But my dog didn’t seem to like the food I had ordered. What happened next was to me unbelievable. The lady on the phone said was sorry I got the wrong food. I told her that I made the mistake not chewy. She refunded me the total bill!!!!!!😀talk about great customer service !!! I will be a loyal chewy customer forever. Jimmy Fornetti

I had an automatic shipment with this company for quite a few years. When my dog passed away I called to inform them of that. They reimbursed the last shipment, not only that, they also sent a very lovely bouquet of flowers. I was absolutely flabbergasted! They went above and beyond.

I've been a customer for years. I will never use them again simply because they failed to ship my recurring shipment on time. They told me it was my fault because I didn't change the shipping date due to the holidays. This is an auto ship program. You would think that a company that makes their bread and butter on auto ship would have known Christmas was in December. This particular order processed on Dec 18 and as of Dec. 23 still hasn't shipped. This a 1 day delivery area for them. The distribution center a 35 minute drive away.

Don't waste your money on Chewy. Their costs are beyond what others sell the exact same product. I buy my pet food on ebay for $40, while Chewy sells the same thing for $54.

Chewy has a customer for life. We have been customers for 8-9 years and always loved their products and service. Unfortunate our dog passed away unexpectedly. My wife reached out to chewy to return a recent bag of food. The team at Chewy, floored us with condolences and asked us to simply donate the food to our local shelter, and they reimbursed us for the food. I thought that was awesome, how great of a community partner. That was two days ago, today we receive a small beautiful bouquet of flowers and a note from the Chewy team. Outstanding, incredible, etc etc. that’s how you gain customers for life. Thank you thank you thank you for being a dynamic company.

Tried ordering chicken hemp bedding on a subscription and the proper price wouldn’t show up. Had to call customer service to get the correct price. Website stated it would be delivered in 1 to 3 days. Product hadn’t even shipped after 2 days. Typical excuses given with an apology but it is typical of the way Chewey seems to do business. Once before we kept receiving e-mails stating buy 1get 1 free. Even after showing the e-mails received they wouldn’t honor it. Plus after getting frustrated since the product hadn’t shipped when stated I was able to find it on another site cheaper than the 20 percent discount for adding authorship. The better price is on all shipments not just the 1st. Glad you are so busy but this is one customer you have lost forever.

Beyond Expectations – Truly Astonishing Customer Service! Unbelievably Outstanding Service – A Truly Refreshing Experience! I recently opened an account with Chewy Canada to order food for my cat, and I was immediately impressed by their incredible prices, great deals, and rewarding loyalty program. However, nothing could have prepared me for the level of service I experienced. When my order, which was expected to arrive on December 9th, didn’t show up, I contacted their customer service team just to check in and confirm when it would arrive. To my absolute astonishment, they not only provided a detailed update but also refunded 90% of my order, despite the fact that the delivery was only slightly delayed. I was in complete shock – I never expected or asked for any sort of compensation. This level of generosity and care has completely blown me away, and I’m deeply appreciative of how they handled this situation. It’s hard to find companies that go to such lengths for their customers, and I will certainly be a loyal customer from now on. I can’t recommend Chewy Canada enough – they’ve truly set a new standard for customer service!

Chewy has one of the most responsive customer service departments of any company that I have dealt with in recent years. They respond quickly and are always very helpful. I’m much prefer getting the things that my dog needs from chewy knowing the kind of customer service that I get compared to other pet stores online or Amazon, which are not as responsive. It’s nice to be able to count on a quick answer to a question. Thank you, chewy, keep it up.

Last week I called Chewy to let them know that my Ollie had passed and that I needed to close my account. Today I received a lovely vase with beautiful flowers and a card expressing their condolences for my loss. In such a sad time for me it was heartwarming to receive beautiful flowers in remembrance of my Ollie. Thank you Chewy for your kind thoughts.

First order came fine. Second order had all these great discounts and deals and they sent TWO emails needing "verification for shipping" meanwhile the first order came no problem no wait. Fishy and shady and disappointing as I now have to go buy dog food at the store.

I recently called to close my account because I had to put my dog to sleep. The CSR was very helpful and empathetic. Two days later I received flowers from the company to express their condolences for my loss. I was completely blown away by the thoughtfulness. Thank you Chewy for brightening my day at a very difficult time.
