“I placed an order for my sister's Christmas present on Dec 7 they charged such exorbitant amt of handling charge it doubled the items total price. Now on the 19th of Dec that they cannot have it here for Christmas. The package sat there in their warehouse for 4 days then sat in Illinois for another 5 days . Now it seems they think they can take as long as another for the customer to rec their purchased merchandise. On the prev order I was lied to ,they sent me an email to state package had been delivered when it had not been delivered. I did rec it the next day. Also they misrepresent that they have merchandise that they do not possess for sake on Facebook. They make excuses for that as well.”
“Purchased a couch cover that was damaged upon arrival. I called the company for a refund. 2.weeks later they sent another one to replace it. I contacted them again
They said to mail it back which I did
It took over 2 weeks for them to put the refund back in my bank account. Most companies will refund your money within 24 hrs. I will never purchase from this company again”

“I tried to place an order on the website, but the sale prices were not transferring onto my shopping cart. I called customer service for assistance. The woman had a hard time creating the order (should have been my first clue,) but I got what I wanted at the correct price.
A week later, my package arrived just as expected. The next day I got 2 more boxes. The person not only placed the order twice on her end but also put though the items in my cart.
I just called to notify Collection Etc of their error and was informed that it was my "fault". Yes, James actually told me several times it was my "fault." He "informed" me that it would cost me 11.99 per package to return them.
After arguing back and forth, I asked for a supervisor. I was put on hold for a few minutes and James came back on and told me I could only return 1 box for free because it was, yet again, my fault. After another long argument where I told James that I was going to dispute the charges with my credit card company, I finally got my return labels. Looking at other reviews, I can see the battle is not yet won. I will add more if the problem continues.
It's a shame because the items I purchased were decent quality and I was happy with them but the customer service is seriously lacking. If I could give a no-star rating I would.”
“My shipping address is different from my billing address. After checkout, it used the same address. I called their call center and struggled though outsourced hell with 5 minute hold times happening multiple times. It was a real pain.”
“If I could give them NO STARS, I would. This has GOT to be the WORST company with which to do business. The worst. Their clothing is absolute garbage (skirts so thin they should be called flimsy lingerie, but try and return something and you'll meet with roadblock after roadblock. Couldn't print their return label that they give you on the website (something wrong on THEIR end of things), and then they tell you they'll ship you a label but it will cost you $12.00. Seriously? Or, you can make your own label but still pay big when they receive your merchandise. You better pay extra at the USPS to make sure they receive it and frankly, what I ordered wasn't worth paying more for insurance or whatever. Their customer service reps should be called DIS-SERVICE REPS. One I spoke with sounded so out of it I had to hang up and call back. The second one couldn't have cared less. This company is just abysmal, and I will never order from them again. Be forewarned. Seriously, a bad experience from start to finish.”
“I saw FREE SHIPPING-NO MINIMUM. I went through the whole process of ordering, side-stepping the JOIN OUR CLUB, WE WILL SAVE YOUR PAYMENT INFORMATION. I didn't join anything and purchased as a guest because I DID NOT WANT MY PAYMENT INFORMATION "SAVED." Of course, I had to provide my payment information in order to buy. I just didn't want it saved in their data bank. I got all the way to the end and was notified that I had to join their club in order to get the free shipping this time and then would automatically be charged $16.95 per month thereafter. I was livid and called to cancel my order and sent the charge to be disputed by my bank. I asked for an email stating that my order had been canceled and the rep mumbled something about, "They will know it has been canceled by your order number." I was so disgusted, I just hung up. And I looked at all the other "Review Websites" and they all give high ratings. What's up with that?”
“I feel this company is a scammer. I placed an order hitting order by accident then called customer service within 30 secs. I spoke to Sara and asked the order be cancelled it took 5 mins of repeating the same request but she finally said ok. A day later I had 2 different order numbers for the same exact order that I had cancelled AND THEY DEBITED by account TWICE. I called them and told me to get it right but they refused. The next day the second order dropped off. I was shocked to receive a box from them Friday and let me say, the quality is cheap and two of the throw pillows are not even stiched at the seams and the stuffing is hanging out...JUNK.
I called them today to ask for a free return shipping label. The woman told me to dontate the stuff and I would get a refund in 3-5 days. I asked her what will the amount of the refund and she said $19! I told her that $38.63 had been taken from my account WITHOUT my permission and I wanted that put back.
She told me I would have to pay for the "undamaged" pillow or pay $11 to have the box shipped back AND THEY WOULD NOT REFUND THE $5.99 handling fee at all.
After 25 mins of being put on hold and having to reinvent the wheel I told her to shove off that I would go through PP. Thank goodness I used PayPay so I will get my money back.”

“The package I ordered from Collections Etc. was marked as delivered by Fed Ex. It was never delivered, I have a camera on my front porch. I contacted Fed Ex about this and then Collections Etc. I was told a replacement package would be set. A week goes by, nothing. A few days later I get a e-mail where they had tried to rebill me for the lost package. My Credit Card company did not allow this. The third time I spoke with someone they said they where refunding my money. Tonight I get a e-mail saying they are refunding part of the total. I call my Credit card company, they are handling it now. I with never order another thing from them. They lost a long time costumer over this. I am not to blame for a lost package as my cc company said. So, now I will see what happens.”

I ordered a quilt and shams, the quilt was $21.99 and the shams on sale for $2.99 each. I ordered 2.y total at the end was $44.78.

They must have sold the company because I've been a customer for years with no issues and now it's totally like doing business with an underhanded cheat of a company.

“I brought 2 pairs of casual slip on shoes that were on sale. I got them pretty fast. BUT instead of being size 8 like I ordered one was clearly a size 7, and the other was 7 1/2. When I went to the site to arrange a return on line it turns out , that they expect me to pay $10.99 for shipping -which they deduct from my refund ! I was livid and called and explained that I should not have to pay for an order that was clearly wrong. I was told it is company policy. Well they can take their policy and put it where the sun don't shine!”
“I feel as though this company is a scam... I even talked to a customer representative because I tried to order something and they took my bank info but "could not process" my order right then, athough I got charged for the item right away on my bank statement. The representative tried to explain that the charge was not for the item but a surcharge of some kind ( couldn't tell me what for) and I would be charged for the actual item later. Didn't hear from them for over a week. Not a confirmation email, nothing. But they took my money. All of a sudden I got an email that said my items had shipped. So they are sending me 2 of what I ordered and now I have to return one for a refund. When you google this company, the reviews show 4 or 5 stars from thousands of customers but when you Google reviews all of them are 1 star reviews. I won't ever order from them again. I should have read the reviews beforehand.”

“I have been a customer for 30 years or more, I am extremely disappointed in the company now. I ordered roses from them 5 different ones, 4 out of the 5 never grew. The one that did is a tiny little rose bud plant, not the big beautiful ones I purchased. Spoke to customer service which is in the Philippines, thought I was going to be pleased with the way they were handling my call. Only to find out I was charged again and my order was going to be resent. I called numerous times last week advising them, they the charged me again... spoke to so many people, rude people at that. Finally had the issue taken care of, received my new order today, two of them say they are the type I purchased, two are absolute mud and water, no label.
I called them again, asked how I could speak to someone in the US, they said they would transfer me,I don't believe I spoke with anyone in the US, the person I spoke to said her name was Alex,did not understand what I was saying at all. Tried to tell me if I received a red rose then it was the fire and ice rose I ordered, since it was red. I tried to explain many times that was a tiny little rose bud plant, not the big roses. She was rude yelling at me, because she didn't understand.
I have never experienced customer service like this from them in the past, I don't believe they will receive my business again, since they are so rude & customer service is in the Philippines. Customer service needs to be in the US with their company.
Sadly there is no way to speak to anyone with the company here in the states, so they are not aware of the service they are providing.

“Used to be a decent place to buy stuff at a discounted price...not any more. That "discounted" price will surprise you when they add on the $8 "handling" fee plus the ridiculous shipping charges, unless you buy a crap load of stuff. On my better judgement just purchased an item, hard to find, from them...great price until the rip off handling fee...stupid shipping charges and then of course it was all a bunch of BS from them. Claimed the shipped the item...after 2 weeks checked the tracking from FED EX....was never shipped...they are a scam now..stay away...trying to get my money back...Chinese scam BS.”
