“Waited today for 55” Oled Panasonic tv to be delivered. First time slot of 1pm to 5pm was changed by text yesterday to between 4pm and 8 pm which meant we had to cancel arrangements we had made for this evening. We then got a call at 7.30pm to say they could not deliver as they had run out of time. WHAT! Husband told the delivery man to not bother rescheduling but l took over and have arranged delivery and installation for another day. Wish we had gone to John Lewis.”

“I was buying a TV for my daughters Christmas and told the salesman that I just wanted the TV and no add-ons, with this he tried to sell me a TV stand, sound bar and a wall bracket, l again told him no I didn’t need anything else. The salesman then went and got his manager, who was told the same and proceeded to try and sell me extra cover for the TV and if I took it out I could cancel it a month later, so I’ve got to ask what’s the point of having this extra cover, the manager wasn’t happy because I said no”

“Waited 45min to buy washing machine and tumble dryer but no one available.ask at the checkout the girl was nice and going to take my order however another member of staff stood in front of me and said no so left the store and shopped elsewhere”

“I have bought several large items from currys over the past few months and have always been happy with the quality of the goods and the delivery until now. I bought a new electric cooker less than 2 weeks ago and within days it was clear something was wrong with the top oven which tripped the rcds in main fuse box everytime it was used. Getting through to customer service was the first obstacle and I was on hold for 50 minutes before the piped music stopped and an advisor spoke to me. Having explained the fault he said no problem we can get that fixed for you, he then said he would transfer me to the engineers who would make an appointment to come out and fix the cooker, if only, I was duly put through only to hear a message saying nobody was available to take my call, I left my name and number but have had no response whatsoever. It's so frustrating. I'll think twice about using currys in future.”

“Used Currys Team knowhow repair service for our LG Oled tv. which developed picture quality problem. previosly bought from Rang and booked appointment for collection. Was told TV would be repaired and returned to us after 5 days. TV was collected on time and driver very polite. We were kept updated through Knowhow website and texts about progress of repair. After exactly 5 days received text message saying TV had been repaired and would be delivered today, which it has been. Both drivers again very polite and helpful. TV works like brand new. All in all very satisfied with the efficient service provided by knowhow and would certainly recommend.”

“Excellent customer service from the guys at broadstairs Currys pcworld Adam sorted out our problem with ease and efficiency John was amazing nothing too much trouble even though we arrived instore late in day upmost service both were amazing and deserve s huge pat on pat for outstanding customer service thanks”

“Currys in store experience was relatively good but why trust delivery and your reputation to Team know how. Recieving damaged goods wasnt the frustration but the 7 calls lasting upto 35 minutes trying to reorganise a replacement certainly was. Get your act together Currys and take control of your delivery service.”

“Ordered a washer/dryer and freezer 12.11.18. Original order number 7446412780. Washer delivered ok. Freezer promised for 19.11.18. Waited in all day but not delivered. Curry’s admit it was their fault but say they can’t deliver until 24.11.18. Any company that really cared about customer service would have it on a van tomorrow to try and retrieve the situation. Another case of a companies fine words in adverts not being matched by its actions. Will I get any compensation for being screwed around? What do you think!”

“I scheduled delivery next day, and I paid 10£ for it. Of course it didn't come, and when I called customer service, they couldn't reschedule, couldn't direct to a pick up point, couldn't do anything. I demanded refund, but they said only when the product returns. Apart from apologies and "I can't", they didn't do anything. In fact they lied and got over with it.”

“ordered washing machine, had read bad reviews of Currys, but they were the only seller, big mistake, no confirmation email of purchase, so no tracking number, wrote email to check details, next day after spinning around on the auto customer service nonsense - best bit is when it suddenly says "Thank you, goodbye", got through eventually to real person on 'team knowhow' by phone next day, "System down so can't check anything. And email responses take about 5 days". But it's due for delivery tomorrow. "OK what's the post code..." er.. so from the not working system they confirmed the order, delivery and email address. Would get SMS later to confirm time. Needless to say really, no SMS, no delivery. Caught knowhow first thing next day and cancelled. Told they tried to deliver and ring but no one home. Surprising really as someone there all day standing by from 7 to 7 receiving 2 other deliveries. They did manage to confirm cancellation by email right away...so one star for prompt cancellation service”
