Ordered a new TV from Currys and opted to pay an additional £15 for them to take away the old TV and the packaging for the new TV. All went well until the delivery arrived - they took away the old TV fine but utterly refused to take the packaging for the old TV. 'No - we aren't allowed to take the packaging because when you need to return your TV the company won't take it unless it is in the original packaging.' As such, I am now not sure how long my new TV is going to last and will have to find somewhere to store a huge box for a 55" TV. Either that or take a trip to the dump with the packaging at some stage, in which case I would have been as well taking the old TV too. I feel utterly ripped off and have been on hold to Customer Services for more than 2 hours now. Complete charlatans - just not sure if it is Currys themselves or their delivery drivers.

LHS broken. Couldn't find how to claim Warranty on the site?? Phoned the 1234 choice for Customer Relation, gave up after an hour-PATHETIC waste of MY time. Ended up writing to them in Sheffield--NO ALTERNATIVE. I was cosidering replacing my Laptop from them. Forget it! Amazon and Argos have much more respect fot theit customers.

Ordered online after site alleges stock for next day collection, but the very next step is take your money. After they have your money everything changes. Now you need to wait 2 days before collection, they will advise by email. But 2 days later no email, try customer service number after 1h:34m gave up. Trying again today if I can't get through will go to store to find where my order actually is as the tracking system don't recognise order numbers. Never ever again will I use the bunch of con artists, only ordered because they claimed it was in stock and could be collected next day. Nothing but lies to grab your money and should you cancel refund will take 14 days not the same day when paying

On the 26th March 2020 I placed an order that was due for delivery 28th March 2020 and was received on that date.On the 24th June 2020 I contacted Curry’s to complain about the FF item and was advised that an engineer would come out to view the item on the 3rd July 2020, for this period of waiting I left my item on despite the horrendous smell that was making me physically sick where I was vomiting, I had to leave my front door open and unable to use the kitchen – Livingroom. I was reduced to tears because of the smell. Two helpful gentleman visited the property to see what the issue was, they too found the same issue and reported this, they advised me that the details of their visit would be on the system and to make contact as I would need an exchange of item. They also pointed out that I had purchased a fridge freezer that I did not need as I purchased an integrated one when I needed a standard fridge freezer. I then rang customer service that morning 03.07.20 at 09.17am 1 hour 45min and 17 secs duration, I spoke to a help gentleman, informed him of the outcome of my visit to which he confirmed a record was on the system (I believe this was Know How Team). I explained my concerns as well as highlighting the I am in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy and have a Disability - Multiple Sclerosis. He stated that I could have an exchange and to look for a fridge freezer online within the same or low price range, that there was only one manager on and her needed to get authorisation for the exchange. He confirmed that he would call me back within 10 mins, that did not happen. At 15:35 call duration of 2hours 21mins and 58secs I called back as I was becoming stressed out without any idea what was happening, knowing I was feeling sick with no idea whether they smell that was coming from the fridge was safe for me to inhale as a pregnant woman. I knew the fridge needed to be switched off with no means to ensure my food or medication were in a cool place. After be passed through three separate teams where I had to keep repeating the issue. The last person was a lady who did not appear to care when I explained how I was feeling and the impact of the situation, she stated that it would need to be Kenwood who deal with the issue and they would need to come out and see the item to verify the issue was in fact there as the other visit was from the Know How Team. I explained my concerns as well as highlighting the I am in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy and have a Disability - Multiple Sclerosis that I had been self-isolating, feeling overwhelmed owing to spending hours of my time dealing with this issue with no resolve. I urged that the booked visit for 8th July 2020 be sooner stating my need for the fridge freezer, she stated that there are always cancellations and I could be contacted before the 8th July 2020. This was not the case, at this point item was switched off and I had no means to store anything, I cried as I was so upset and felt overwhelmed, unheard and no supported despite my plead that I urgently needed an exchange. A gentleman attended my property 8th July 2020 around 8-8.30am from, he was very knowledgeable and found the issue stating the awful smell was coming from the lower back of the fridge and therefore turned it off again. He advised me that someone should call me to arrange an exchange. I did not receive a call so I again contacted 08.07.20 at 18:36 call duration 1 hours 1 min and 37secs. I spoke to two separate gentleman both of which were very polite and understanding although limited in what they could do as the department I needed had closed at 18:00. I explained to them both that I have just under two weeks until my baby is due, that I have MS that has flared up where was not feeling well, feeling so annoyed that I paid my hard earned money and have spend the past few weeks buying take away having to go to the shops once a day just to get breakfast, a bag of ice a day which I leave in the sink so I can at least have cold water all because of this ridiculous delay. Over the past 3 months I have purchased a washing machine £250 and TV £470 and the FF £299 all from Curry’s, I am now of the view that I will not use Curry’s again for future purchases although i had no choice but to order another FF for next day delivery costing £319 plus £30 delivery. Yet to get confirmation of my refund of £299. This treatment is unfair, a pregnant woman who has a disability cannot even be supported by Curry’s to address an issue that was out of my control, I have a faulty item that needs to be replaced yet there is no sense of urgency it is still in my property! what is more I have spent over 6 hours of my time contacting Curry’s, they have not contacted me. I do not get paid for that time and each time I am left in the same position. Worst part is to complain you cannot email them it has to be by post. So if you decide to purchase an item be prepared for the above responses, they dont care. Awful... Zero stars is need although no option to select zero.

Made my purchase online, which said was IN STOCK middle of June. Took my money and had a delivery date of 30th June. Following day was sent an email to say wasn’t in stock but expected more of the product 5th July. Email stated to ring them straight away if I didn’t want to wait and I would get a refund. Continually phoning that number for hours with no reply. An e mail address which was mentioned doesn’t exist as my emails have been returned. I’m not happy as would never have placed the order if item wasn’t in stock.

Ordered via website, said available to collect Tuesday but would receive an email. No email by 5pm, store closes at 6. Phone help line rubbish, waiting over 30 mins then gave up. Email arrived at 5.50. Got to the Kettering store 2 minutes after store had closed. The security guy listened to my plight, a nice guy in the store sorted out the collection. Thanks team Kettering, you made up for a very poor help line experience!! Nice that shops realise they are in the people business!

I have taken out insurance on my freezer which has now broken down . I have been trying to get in touch with the service team for three days by phone and email with no joy. Up to 1 hour on the phone at a time to either give up or at times they cut you off. They say in their automated message that they will prioritise shielding at risk customers. Well if they don’t answer how can they help?

Incorrectly described a laptop on their website, sent one with lower spec then refused to do anything about it. Spent around 10 hours 'on hold' on the phone and kept getting cut off, to this day I haven't spoken to them. They've taken their email address down and their Twitter team are slow, unhelpful and rude. Will NEVER use them again.

Dear curry’s Please see information on the install I was left on the 02/07/2020, which was totally un acceptable, and I had to put right myself. I paid £90.00 for this service to install a new integrated dishwasher and £20.00 to take the old one away… the installers were in and out in about 30 minutes, and didn’t level the machine, as the two back feet where not even touching the floor, and the gaps each side of the dishwasher were completely ignored, and uneven to the top to bottom. The whole machine was left proud of the other doors either side. My kitchen doors had a really good shut line with the old machine in place, which was the same make and dimensions as the new one? Please see the photos with this complaint that is logged with www.resolver.co.uk Case 8933518 I spent 3 hours putting it right! Please refund the complete install charge of £90.00, as plugging the machine into the socket under the sink, and screwing on a cold water hose, is something I could have done. They didn’t even put the plinth back on???

Despite agreeing a delivery date with your in store salesperson we have heard nothing since. The goods should be delivered today. Your salesperson was made fully aware that we would be away for seven days after that date. I cannot speak to anyone as without a tracking number you just get cut off. Rubbish system. Will not be using Currys again!

If I could give them 0 I would gladly do so. I have never experienced such bad customer services and had such awful experience like with PC world store and online. We purchased a 65inch tv in-store and they tried to give us a tv without a box. Of course, we did not want to take the tv like that because of the safety of the tv so we had to immediately do a refund, we waited for 45min to return something we just purchased. Then we decided we will place an online order and we did. We chose Sunday to be delivered. I had to stay at home from 8 am to 8 pm waiting for this delivery , their system showed item is on its way all day, in the end, it said delivery was attempted but it was unable to happen. I was requested to call them and get charged for this call per minute , waiting time was 1h and after a few questions, customer services put the phone down on me. It turned out I purchased a tv that is out of stock and they have been misleading me all day on Sunday as this item was never on its way even tho their system showed it was on its way and to make it even worse they sent me a text message with delivery guy name and time of arrival. Such a pure level of customer services that I can not describe! No apology no compassion, they don't even deserve 0 as a review! their staff level of desire to do their job in the store I would rate minus 10 and online -100 this tells me the company is not looking after their staff and they are not happy to do the job but they are just there to get a monthly salary! never again I will enter this company in my life! Shame on you PC World!

Oven clean by rubbish company and will not send out a different company to have a proper clean. I will get a clean from a different company next year but have to stay with a dirty over this year. It is the second year they have done a sub standard job and curry's care plan did not even bother and just paying the money for a rubbish job. I only bought the care plan wholly for the oven clean and feel so disappointed that I have wasted my money. You decide bearing in mind these are after I have (MEANT to have had my oven cleaned) Unfortunately it won't let me upload the pictures if Curry's can upload them then you can see why I am so unhappy

I have a repair and support plan in place and have had to send my laptop away for repair. It has a 14 repair promise however they are stating due to Covid-19 that isn't being applied at the moment due to they can't get parts. yet they can sell me items and get items they don't have In stock for next day for me. This also appliess to me ordering parts from the manufacture i can get the parts next day. They are using Covid-19 as a scape goat for not meeting there own deadlines. Absolutely fuming and they don't have an expected repair date for me as they have only just looked at the laptop. I have spent thousands in these stores and have taken the care plan on almost everything I have bought from them. In the future I will never purchase from them again or any of their other channels. If you can't deliver the services you have promised you shouldn't be selling them. Looking at there new service they now want to charge the same amount for a service that doesn't cover the reason people take it. I used to work for this company and never really believed the customer grievances. I'd advise any potential customers to avoid dixons carphone brands they are only interested in money without delivering the expected services. Employees are just a number to the corporation without any importance. If employees don't sell the add on products to customers they get managed out of the business. Their targets are 50% on care plans. They also target insurance on carphone warehouse which goes against FCA regulations then they say its not a target just an expecting if you are having the correct conversations with customers.

wow never ever order from Currys!!! they have been unbelievable bad and hidden bad customer service behind Covid. as far as i know a symptom of Covid is not giving inaccurate, contradictory and unhelpful information, nor does it make your staff rude and ineffective. Never order from them - I have so far being on hold for over 3 hours to return a dishwasher that was broken when it was delivered.

DO NOT ORDER TVS FROM CURRYS!!! I’ve ordered a Samsung tv 3 weeks ago and paid the full price for it only to find out after I paid that they don’t have in stock! Been waiting for that Tv for a while now and if you wanna talk to someone you literally have to wait hours until someone bothers to answer. Been told by 3 different people that my order is on the way and they’ll let me know the time slot, big lie!! Phoned again today and after an hour waiting someone finally answered and said they don’t have it and it will take another 10-21 days!!! So don’t bother ordering from them, they’ll have products on their website as “in stock” when in reality they don’t but they’ll still take your money. Had to cancel the order and hopefully I’ll get my Money back

They're taking advantage of the pandemic situation and not backing up their sales with customer services. They won't answer phones, emails or even PayPal disputes. I won my PayPal dispute based on the incorrect information listed on their website and their lack of response. I was lucky to have had the foresight to pay with PayPal but others have not been so lucky and lost hundreds or thousands.

I ordered scooter for my sons birthday on Sunday evening for collection next day . Currys debited account straight away I was then told it would not be delivered until Friday . On the Thursday I was told it was not in stock. I spent 8 hours trying to get through to customer service who just fob you off or cut you off. I have had to source the scooter elsewhere and now chasing up cancellation & refund . I don’t understand delay if you don’t have the goods then customer should be refunded. What they want to do is hold your money until the item may come back into stock and just keep you hanging on until then. It is by far worst service I have ever received. Someone needs to address these unscrupulous trading methods.
