Showing stock online at store we went to. None in, manager was nice and tried to order from store. Computer was not working properly. Decided to go home and order for collection from currys another day. Could not order as showing shop stock. Rang in the order was told two in stock explained false. Then advice to take free delivery option for next day that cost 9.99. Blimey currys get your act together.

I went to pc world/curys yesterday lunch time. I asked an agent where the dvd drives for apple were he pointed to a shelf and walked away. I had a look round and saw a DAB radio which I bought. At the checkout there were two young Asian girls chatting away ignoring a ringing phone. They scanned my goods still talking away only to stop to ask if wanted extended guarantee then went back to there conversation. Took my money gave me my change and pushed the goods across the counter still chatting away. I thanked them and said "bye" to which they ignored me I went to the door and then went back to them and said "I said thank you and goodby" to which they still ignored me still chatting away. The customer service is awful and the store was quite empty not good to say its two weeks from Christmas. I must admit though I was pre warned about the bad customer service at Currys Blackburn.

I Reseved a 40inch samsung TV online for my elderly mother, when we got to the store 2 hours later they told me the tv wasn't ready & the assistant phoned through to another person. The other person then came to the till & asked us to follow him to the TV section, he then persisted in trying to sell the "knowhow care plan" for the TV. We told him 3 times that we didn't want the care plan, he then said "well you may as well have because its free as part of a black friday deal" My mother then said "ok then i'll have it". We have now found out that it is only free for 1 month the rest of it is £4.00 a month. I will be making a complaint about this disgraceful way of duping people in to having the care plan.

Delivered to my 81yr old mum. told her she needed to get to b n q to get a longer pipe then call currys to rearrange the connection because he couldnt fit it! He wabted to leave her with no washing machine. She refused to sign for it. After a long argument he finally miraculously found a longer pipe in his van. Hmm. Not impressed !!

I was sold 5yrs Knowhow Cloud storage when I bought a top of the range Android tablet, specifically because I was concerned about storage capacity for Word files and pdfs on the tablet. Installed the KH App, wasted 4 hrs trying to backup the doc files on the tablet. First call to helpline suggested uninstalling and reinstalling app. No luck. Then I noticed that most items on main support page had info for Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android, but for backup only Windows and Mac Phoned helpline for comment on this and was told Knowhow Cloud will auto back up only photos and videos from Android devices, not Word files etc! THERE WAS NO MENTION OF THIS WHEN I BOUGHT THE 5YR STORAGE. Apparently files can be backed up individually to the briefcase but this is cumbersome, and I assume the briefcase has much less storage than the 2TB l bought. Not impressed.

I'm disappointed with Currys as bought to £699.00 in 2010. My son fell to not speakers and then hit the tv causing a crack in the screen. Currys picked it up for repairs and I was given a voucher code to get another TV. To my disappointment the code was only worth £599.99 and had to pay £249.00 extra to get a better tv

Panasonic Tv broke down recently and I was advised that It would be replaced. As I paid £1500 pounds for it I was surprised to be given £599. "PRODUCT REPLACEMENT If we cannot readily and economically repair your product you will be given a voucher to obtain a replacement product in one of our stores. The value will be based on an equivalent or similar specification product up to a maximum of your original product purchase price." The above is from your site and I feel that you are misleading people here.

So if you spend £160 on a fridge it's free delivery but if you spend £160 on a fridge and £190 on a freezer it's £6 delivery charge because your having more than one item , ( to the same address) so I said ok then I'll have one deliverd Wednesday and one delivered Thursday , does that mean I save £6 , she said yes , so I can either waste £6 of my money because the more you spend the more your punished or I can be as stupid as the person who invented this company policy for currys and have two deliverys and waste £££s of there money for 2 men in a lorry plus the cost of fuel to come back the next day . What a joke !

Visited curry's drakehouse, intent on buying a new laptop, spent 10 mins looking, requiring help, three or four staff stood about chatting had to get their attention was told no more in stock but could have display item but wasn't offered any discounts or advice was just told it was a basic laptop! Walked out in disgust. Went to my local worksop branch and received completely different level of service, well done

Curry's, don't buy anything from them...... Bought a fridge freezer from them in january this year, twice it has stopped working resulting in the freezer defrosting. I have subsequently asked for a replacement but they are only offering a repair. I could have had a replacement if it had become faulty in the first 28 days instead of the first 75! What a mad system, in my eyes if I have to have a repair done on goods under a year old then I may as well have bought a second hand item. Buyer beware, customer service is a joke, quick to take your money and then leave you high and dry.

Expecting a delivery of a washing machine on Friday the 17 th of March between 7 am and 8 pm we received a text. On the morning to say could they deliver earlier on the afternoon that wasn't a problem so waited and waited then received a call to ask if it had been delivered still waiting for a driver to contact I phoned them back at 8.45 pm to ask where the delivery was and was told they would chase this up with the driver and the lady would get back to us finally the driver phoned to say he wasn't coming as he had gone over his hours ,I'm afraid his English was very hard to understand but managed to get a delivery arranged for this Wednesday which he told me currys would contact to verify this , I phoned them on Monday afternoon to check as they had not contacted and the delivery has now been verified . Fingers crossed and I'm not holding my breath just in case but my temper will be rising if we waste another day on them and a visit to get a refund if it doesn't !!!,

I bought a Sony television for the conservatory mainly for myself for football and wanted it fitted to the wall paid for Know How to fit it and was told it would one week for fitting waited the one week nobody turns up managed to find Know How phone number and found the installation had been cancelled. Remembering now that the Curry assistant had made a mistake when billing the items cancelled the installation then created a new bill obviously the new bill hadn't identified the installation even though I had paid for it. After getting over the frustration fitted the TV my self and claimed my money back after reading all the reviews I don't think I would bother with Currys again .

Don't buy washing machine at currys. I went to the Cheltenham store to buy one. I asked to look at the manuals of the machines I was interested so I could look at the wash cycles etc and choose the best washing machine for me. I was told NO we don't put them with the machine _ store policy. How can I choose I asked if I don't know what's best for me. No answer. Any way I left the store. Bought my washing machine from ao.com free delivery, free removal of my old machine and all the information I needed to choose the washing machine best suited to my needs

Went into my local currys to buy a soundbar, I had my eye on either a bose or Panasonic which had a £90 trade in offer, the website said "trade in ANY old speaker product Inc old radios. I asked a member of staff about this offer and I was told you HAD to trade in a soundbar and not what the website states, couldn't be bothered to argue and asked for the bose aswell .... I asked what size optical lead came with it and he was very quick to say "they only give you bare minimum" an and gestured with his hands that it was under 50mm. ...... then it came ...."I can sell you a £50 fancy gold optical" he said... no thanks knowing that is way over the top , upon opening the unit at home I found the supplied optical was more than adequate at 1.5mtr long.... So my advice is when you shop with currys do your own research before and don't listen to a word they say as they don't know about products they sell and will lie to you ...

Ordered dish washer from currys paid for installation and recycling of old machine. After about 2 minutes of trying they gave up trying to unplumb the old one and told me I needed a Plummer! They said The water wouldn't turn off, yet they didn't open all the taps or allow Sufficient time for the water that was in the pipes to drain out. Never been a Problem fitting the dishwasher before which was only 18 months ago! They said to call currys again when a plumber had been and fitted a new valve and they would come back another day. Told them to leave the new dishwasher and I would sort it all myself ! Appeared to me that the fitters were not qualified to do anything with water/plumbing and just couldn't be bothered . Now left with the old dishwasher plumbed in and the new one in the middle of the kitchen and have to find someone who can fit it for me, and have to find away to get rid of the old one! Not impressed

I would like to express my deepest dissatisfaction with the appalling customer service demonstrated by the staff of your store in Swindon Greenbridge. My wife and I came to the store on her birthday, the 9th of February, as she wanted to buy a Kenwood KMC030 machine. We spoke to the sales consultant Lance, who talked us through the features, and completed the finance application form when we agreed to it. The store didn't have the machine in the warehouse (even though the Google Shopping site shows it as Limited Stock), and only had the demo model. So Lance told us he would order the machine and it would be in the store on Sunday, the 14th. My wife is really into cooking, and she really wanted the machine sooner rather than later. However we agreed to wait until Sunday to get the machine (pick it up from the store). We were promised a call. Sunday came, and no calls came with it. So at about 3pm we decided to visit the store to pick up the machine. However, when we arrived, we were given no machine whatsoever. And no apology for not informing us of the delay either. We were only told the machine would be available on Tuesday the 16th. Needless to say, today, on Tuesday, no calls were made by Currys to inform us of the status of the order. So my wife, again, came to the store to pick the machine up. Needless to say, she could not do it as the machine was simply not there. More than that, when she arrived into the shop, she saw Lance, who, having seen her, quickly disappeared in the rear of the showroom. My wife has now been to the shop 3 times, and was told the machine would be there on Thursday, the 18th. We have been deeply disappointed by the lack of communication, false promises, expectations which were not met. We would like the machine ASAP, meaning RIGHT NOW. I can not believe such a big retailer as Currys is unable to source it from another store or supplier / manufacturer. We would like an official apology from the general manager of Currys Greenbridge, Swindon, for appalling customer service provided by their staff.

Went to look at a television with a view to buying. Member of staff really not interested and talked in jargon. Even though we wanted to buy he said that nearest one for sale was some 60 miles away and that he couldn't order at the time. No thought of taking my number and ringing me when he had some information. Bye bye £550.

I reserved an item at my local store and was told it would be ready within minutes. I'm appreciative of the fact it's not going to be minutes, but after going to the store 2 hours later and the product was not ready at the collection point, as advised, I was rather annoyed. Not a major issue but I was then asked to follow the assistant away from the desk to half way across the store and told to wait. Another employee then appeared, then tried to sell me additional items. He then took me to the till to pay for the product and it took another 10 minutes of waiting before the item arrived. Extremely poor to not have the item ready for collection after 2 hours but to also lead me around the store for no obvious reason, I found ridiculous! I decided to go for the collect service to ensure getting the product quickly, but next time will order online to avoid travelling for such dreadful service.

Could only get this appliance from Currys. First one did not heat up and second one was so noisy. On contacting Currys initially there was a 20 min wait with the most annoying piano music and a an irritating message of apology repeated every 15 second. (obviously deliberately designed to get people to hang up) On getting through, we were in formed that the item was 'out for delivery' and he could do nothing about it and we would have to call back tomorrow; on objection the agent agreed to call us back the following day. He did and gave us delivery and collection date some 5 days hence. Delivery and collection happened and the replacement machine bumped and rattled. We called back, 10 minutes of annoying music and irritating voice; the agent was very apologetic and professional and arrange collection and a refund. A friend that works for Currys informed me that if appliances were not available for what ever reason then they send out faulty items to keep good sales record. Obviously no concern for their customers. Gave a poor rating instead of a very poor one as their delivery and customer service agent were professional. I wonder if these elements of Currys service are subcontracted.
