Salesperson could not get delivery and set up date on his screen for my tv. Took 40 minutes to do this and pay Said he would need to ring me with a date. He did not do this. Took 20 mins for 2 calls to main office as no one rang back again. Told l would get a time the day before delivery. No call again. Arrived 8am so l had just got up. Driver said delivery was down for around 6.20 am. Poor customer service.

WARNING: NEVER SHOP AT CURRYS>After 5 weeks I still have no dishwasher and they have my money. Absolute absence of any form of customer service. I bought a dishwasher and 5 year guarantee. Installation of my dishwasher was 13 days after the order (which I thought was a long time to wait). I watched as the delivery people dropped it off the lorry. They insisted on installing it saying it was fine. It didn't work. Eventually got an engineer to come 3 weeks after installation who said I needed a new one. Called Currys to arrange. After 70 minutes on the phone they say they cannot instal a new one for another 12 days - this will be 6 weeks after I ordered and paid for it. They have refused to let me speak with a manager in order to get a resolution. Just appalling. Their website states 'The beauty of our installation service is that we can deliver and install your new product on the same day, at a time to suit and 7 days a week' Don't believe a word of it. I WILL NEVER USE THIS SHAMBOLIC COMPANY AGAIN.

I've recently bought a new Indesit fridge to replace the old one. I also opt for recycling as i didn't know what to do with the old one and as i live on 2nd floor it is hard for me to take it down. Day before deliver I've received a time slot as when it arrive. On the day the delivery van arrived within the agreed time, the handy man took my old fridge and brought up my new shiny fridge and put it exactly where i wanted. It was slightly taller that i thought it'll be but it fit perfectly so can't complain. It in black color which wasn't sure how will look but it gives a contrast against white units. I love the slim design and how specific it is inside both fridge and freezer. Really happy with my purchase!!!

A new washing machine was delivered with a big dent in the back of it. Customer services were contacted 5 minutes after delivery men left. I was informed that an exchange couldn’t be arranged until the item was marked as delivered. I was promised a phone call to let me know when that was done. By 6pm that evening I had heard nothing and wanted to make sure I received a machine the next day, so I called them back myself. The customer services said they couldn’t do anything as it still hadn’t been marked as delivered, after I complained they offered to put me through to the delivery team. I was put on hold yet again and after another 20 minutes I gave up. I had already spent over an hour on the phone to them that day already and I only have so much patience with bad customer services. The next morning I called as soon as customer services opened only to be told that an exchange hadn’t been organised and there was no information on file to indicate that one had been requested! Talk about inefficient. Thankfully I have a proactive husband who took the back panel off and pushed out the dent so it was no longer touching the internal workings. Currys make you wait for ages to speak to a customer services who do nothing. It’s a shame their delivery team don’t use modern technology to update the system when they’ve delivered items, I’m sure they sell tech like that. I wouldn’t buy from them again.

Ordered a ps4 and fitbit over the phone, order paid for, went to pick it up, no knowledge of the order. Ps4 was £219.99, but because they'd mucked up order, they now want to charge £250, which wasnt our fault they mucked up the order, AND the money was pending for currys to take. Customer services wouldnt honour the first price, so ive told them they wont be having my order. Currys mucked up and wont hold thereselves responsible for the error, so got to start looking elsewhere. Currys, you wont be having any more of my money, I'll go elsewhere for electricals..you're not the only suppliers, theres lots out there who will be happy for my money. Currys NEVER AGAIN, customer service absolutely shockingly atrocious

I was about to write a review but had an almost identical experience to someone else, everyone I have spoken to at Currys has 'misinformed me' (that's lied to you and me). I was promised a 10% gesture of goodwill for my troubles and a price match - of course i have not seen these yet! Here's the review that mirrors my experience. Great customer service. You phone them once, they lie to you, phone second time, more lies, third time they ensure that their colleagues misadvised you and feed you with more lies. Then you write them an email and they completely ignore you. I have used a gift card to purchase 2 items, wanted to cancel the order and buy different goods. They did cancel the order, but they froze my money for almost a week, despite saying that the refund to eGift card would be instantaneous. This Friday will be a week with no refund to my gift card. Thanks a lot for ruining my Black Friday shopping.

I purchased the Canon eos 6d Mark 2 bundle from the website thinking this would be good value. However after purchase I added up how much it would cost to buy all the items in the bundle individually from them, it added up to being over £160 cheaper to buy all the items individually.. Its discraceful that they should deceive customers in this way as ordinarily buying a bundle would be cheaper if at worst the same price! I will be returning my purchase and taking my business to somewhere more trustworthy. On top of this getting the item returned has been a nightmare, from just getting to speak to the relevant person to the ignorant returns collection driver... Avoid!

Very poor service!! Ordered new cooker paid for delivery, installation and take old cooker away £110! day off work and waited...No delivery came No explanation Nothing. Had to go to store (which is ex directory) a couple of days later..offered £50 off and deliver in11days! Store manager at Northwich Cheshire just kept shrugging his shoulders and saying there had been a mix up, he couldnt do anything else. I said it wasn't good enough and asked for full refund which they agreed. He then rang me next day saying HO agreed with him!!! and even if I changed my mind and wanted to buy I'd have to wait 3 weeks!! would rather give my money to a retailer who cares about their customers. DO NOT USE CURRYS!

There is a man who works at Curry's PC World in Stockport, called Andrew Duxbury. What a great bloke and an excellent, helpful informative person. I went to the store reluctantly with a problem with my daughters laptop. I hate taking things back as nobody ever helps and I just end up getting frustrated and go home with the same problem. However, Mr Duxbury was really informative, very knowledgeable about the products in the store, he took loads of time trying to solve my problem and when eventually, he couldn't, he gave my daughter a brand new replacement laptop!!! I couldn't believe it, at no point did I expect a replacement. I expected to be told that it was my daughters fault and there was nothing they could do. What a refreshing change. Currys PC World are fantastic for employing such a man and Mr Duxbury is the best...X

Bought a laptop online, was faulty, returned within 5 days by collection, still cannot et my re-embursrement. Far too many automated options on the phone service, always the wrong department, shuffled from one to the next. Absolute disgrace
